Thanks Aaron, solid review and for pointing out the issues too
Thanks for the review.. my son got me hooked and need one for the home office.
My name is also Aaron
Solid review for real I recently broke 3 of my key caps by slipping on it and need a new one! So I’m checking out an keychron keyboard like this ! I might get 2 new ones
Thanks for the review Aaron. Please can you tell me how length of the type-c cable are? I am afraid that is not enough to link with the rear of my PC.
Great video, thanks.
Love the Video... but the music is a little loud...
Im getting the same keyboard with brown switches will it sound the same as urs
hi! for my first mechanical I don't know if I go to buy an k2 or k3 low profile.. actually I use an mx master with membrane.. what I should pick up? for programming..
Do you know what is the polling rate in wired and wireless mode
1000 wired and I believe only 50 wireless.
Will it work with a chrome book?
Bruh i had or**** when i saw this keyborad . ITs sooooooooooooooooooooooo good
Hi, Can I change the gateron switches to Cherry MX switches in this keyboard?
Yup. It supports 3/5 pin
@@aaron_kim Thank you for your reply. :)
In terms of longevity, are keychron keyboards reliable? Thanks!
If you buy the hotswap version of course.
@@ghkjhgjkgk you're saying switches go bad and they need to be replaced when they get old?
@@kj-marslander the switches aren't bad, but when they get old you can easily replace them
@@kj-marslander each switch is rated for 50 million presses, I've been using mechanical boards daily (mostly cherry switches) for more than a decade and I think I've had 2 switches die on me the entire time. This board is hot swappable though, so all you need to do is use the included switch puller pop out the switch, slot in a new one, and you're good to go.
@@notnubilous3804 Cool, thanks for the info.
I wonder what they will think of next, hot swappable USB C port maybe? In case it gets loose, or starts dropping connection. lol
What type of switches does it use? On the website it says it uses “Gateron G Pro Switches” but I couldn’t find any such thing do you think I could use any set of regular Gateron switches or there a difference with “Gateron pro switches” stem layout?
pass signals tmrw
What is the background music because I really like it
Nice
which is worth for bucks ? K2 or RK84 ?
RK84 is better value
@@watching76 I do agree but the gaetron switches on the k2 are nice, and people have had alot of issues with the RK with it being newer. I think the RK is better value, and the white version is beautiful but perhaps alittle too flashy for an office setting. K2 is more low-key
K2 is better
What’s the difference between k2 v2 and k2 v2 hot swappable
hot swappable means you can remove the switches from the pcb without having to desolder the switches
The hot swap is the version to get if you plan on doing any mods or keeping your keyboard for a very long time. If you just wanna plug it in and use it stock and then get a new one in a few years the regular version would be fine.
rk84 or this
