Having bought my Air96 v2 (because I needed the full layout for work), I have a couple of thoughts 1. I personally REALLY love the sound of the keyboard with the caveat being I got the "berry" switches for a little extra. Your mileage may vary, but definitely take a listen to the sound tests with all the switches. 2. That being said, the one I have is 35g actuation force, which is a bit lighter than what I was used to before (Mac keyboard) - so I (even now occasionally) double-click(ed) keys one in a while. 3. I really appreciate the options for 60, 75 and 96. With that in mind, the HE may be a desirable pick once it has wireless and 75/96 layouts as options. 4. I never use the Mac/Win switch despite switching between the two systems - I just use a key bind combo to switch between the two because VIA still kind of scares me (not sure how to set macros separately between Windows and Mac).
Honestly, if you travel for work, I can't say enough good things about having one. I recently sold my Nuphy Air75 V2 and while waiting for my Lowfree Lite to be sent, I've been forced to bring my home keyboard (Rainy75) to work, and my god, it's just so heavy to carry around everywhere and takes up so much space in my backup. I'm excited to get my Lowfree Lite so I can stop carrying around my main keyboard.
What were the keyboards that didn't make the cut? In particular, I'm curious about the Redragon K652 Azure as an alternative to NuPhy (and it's going on sale for Black Friday). Also, while the Logitech PebbleKeys 2 doesn't have an enthusiast typing experience, it's very inexpensive and the battery lasts up to a year).
I love the MX Mechanical for work. The motion sensor makes a clear difference. Plus it allows to connect to 3 different computers. It's perfect when you work on several computers (like me). Only one keyboard needed, it leaves more space on your desk.
REDRAGON TL84-B, cheap AF around 35 dollars RN, wireless BT and 2,4 ghz, hotswap, it came with redragon blues and installed redragon blacks also very cheap, cherry LP keycaps, RGB, Mac and Windows. If you are just curious like me about low profile mechanicals, this is the answer, if you like the experience you may consider expending more. I don't use that much bc it's not ergonomic, but is useful for travel with it.

I'm typing on the Flow Lite, so I believe the reason you mentioned it initially is because you haven't used it frequently. Its keycaps began to wear and become glossy in less than a month of use. Additionally, you should have informed the audience that your reference is based on a linear switch; tactile users generally do not prefer it over your Nuphy v2. This is because the only tactile option available is the silent Kailh Deep Sea Whale, and Lofree only sells their official Phantom switch, does not support backlighting.

ColorReco A75 with Avocado switches could work. Though it's very hard to pinpoint the specifics of the 3 available switches from several Aliexpress sellers. At least they seem to be custom Kailh lp.
Lofree flow lite kickstarter has been a lesson in how not to do business. Apparently it will improve in q1 2025 but its been a disaster of an experience. They cannot produce them and the delivery date just keeps moving. Bad management

I bought a redragon k662w a couple years ago as my first mechanical low profile keyboard and I loved the format. The only reason I'm looking to change it is because of the horrible macro set up as they're not software-configurable but rather "record and play" (I don't know if there's an official denomination for these types of macros). But I gotta say, after watching this video, I'm disappointed by the lack of tall Enter key configurations. I hate short Enter keys with a passion. Guess I'll stick to my $50 old reliable for now.
@@razorgarf I just got the K3P-H3 to use while I travel and it’s fine. I’m fairly new to the mechanical keyboard world though so take my opinion with a grain of salt. BT or USB C wired, hotswappable, and Via. Can use with Windows or Mac. No 2.4 GHz which is fine for my use case. I got mine with gateron low profile brown switches. Switches are sufficient but I’ll probably swap them out if I can find low profiles I like better. My personal preference is something a bit more substantial, but they don’t feel bad or mushy to me. They’re not silent, but are fairly quiet. Much quieter than my full-size keychron was with stock regular size gateron browns and stock key caps. Plastic body is light but doesn’t feel flimsy to me. Overall I’d say it’s fine. It’s not amazing and it doesn’t suck. It gets the job done. Customizing RBG in Via is fun but ultimately superfluous. It’s small enough I can work in limited spaces, but still comfortable to type on. It’s light enough to throw in my backpack and it’s cheap enough I don’t have to stress too much about theft or damage. It meets my expectations for its price point. I’m happy with it as a travel keyboard but I think I would be dissatisfied with it as my daily office keyboard.

This video is not the kind of review or rating you should rely on without doing your own research or having prior knowledge. The NuPhy Air60HE is indeed a great keyboard, but the she spoke about it as if it's the only option from NuPhy. The missing arrow keys, for instance, are available in the slightly larger key set by NuPhy Air75HE. And then there's the iQunix Magi65 and similar keyboards - how can they be the "best" in your opinion while you also mention quite a list of flaws? Oh, and silent switches of Lofree don’t actually sound like that, it’s due to her microphone or poor editing, which fails to accurately capture their real sound. If you're interested in a Lofree keyboard, I highly recommend this quality review: th-cam.com/video/nTvZbM53tSs/w-d-xo.html. Overall, this particular video feels somehow dishonest.

loud, not low how they should be. for me keyboard can't be a mechanical type, silent, keys max above case that keep them 1mm, travel distance should be as well the shortest one 2mm or 1mm.
They might be the best lo-pro of 2024 but having no ISO option, they are useless to me. Great-looking, but looks aren't everything. They sound excellent, though. Too bad. Hard pass for me. Ironically, one of the brands that didn't make the cut is the only one that has ISO-layout option in most of its keebs: Keychron.
the lofree flow lite silent switch sound test is definitely off. i've seen other sound tests of the silents and while quieter, they are no way as quiet as portrayed in your vid (th-cam.com/video/nTvZbM53tSs/w-d-xo.html). i'd record a new video with both linear and silent switches back to back in the same shot, and compare to what was uploaded.
And just another review of ANSI only keyboards and how they sound. How come keyboards are valued like a music instrument for their sound? Without proper keycaps they are absolutely useless, no matter what VIA can do, how exceptional they feel to the touch or if they sound like bells from heaven.

ya, less choices for sure, sad
ColorReco A75 with Avocado switches could work. Though it's very hard to pinpoint the specifics of the 3 available switches from several Aliexpress sellers. At least they seem to be custom Kailh lp.
What were the other five keyboards that didn't make the cut?
lofree edge, lofree flow 84, asus falchion lp, keychron, corsair k100 air, kzzi
Lofree flow lite kickstarter has been a lesson in how not to do business. Apparently it will improve in q1 2025 but its been a disaster of an experience. They cannot produce them and the delivery date just keeps moving. Bad management
Hello guys. One question, would this be good for gaming? Currently looking for something that is good for work/casual gaming. Thanks
Do all OTs adjust their spectacles like that? My wife also does it :)
I want to ask for your opinion
I am switching from my laptop keyboard, and I was confused and kinda worried about my selection between normal mechanical keyboards or low profile mechanical keyboards
My main goal is for typing and programming, and some gaming
If you would recommend something or two I would really appreciate it
And for the switches, I think brown switches may be fine for the goal as far as I read, if you have another option, please enlighten me
Thanks in advance
I first ever mechanical keyboard was the Nuphy Air75V2. It holds a special place in my heart, but after buying more keyboards and discovering the sound profile I like, the hollow sound of the nuphy just didn’t do it for me anymore. Just sold mine and used that money to buy the lofree lite. Excited to receive mine
And for low profile tactility there's still the Cherry Stream and Tecware Phantom L as good budget sub-$40 brown switch keyboards.
Thank you. All other ytb videos are old and have no new info in relation to the actual market.
Does the Mx mechanical feel really bad or ok for working alot ?
@@salut9658 i used the MX mechanical for a while now and then have now recently switched over to a couple of custom built keyboards and the difference is huge !!! I cannot imagine going back to the Mx Mechanical at all now !!!
It isn't a bad keyboard, as I use it in the office myself while traveling between buildings. It is the most appropriate one for work place..
It's a great keyboard tbh, I have used it everyday for a year and my typing speed went from 40 - 120wpm
Ty !
If you're not spoilt by premium keyboards already, it's quite nice. The plastic is not as premium as I'd like, it's quite slick and picks up grease, but I've been using it for over a year and I still like it.
thank you
I love Nuphy, have the Field75 HE and Halo96 v2 and they have been flawless. BUT when I bought the Air60 v2, though no hardware issues, it’s very loud and scratchy. Just not a pleasant typing experience sadly.
Wanna get a LP keyboard to use on my lap on my steam deck TV setup for movies, awesome
With Keychron K3 Max often compared to the NuPhy, is there a reason it didn't make the list? I'm curious.
will you review wooting’s 80HE?
yes
It be nice if people could reviews how these keyboard work on Linux also, rather then just window and apple.
I would love to know if the Iqunix magic 65 or the flow lite are compatible with Linux.
Thank you
You should try Royal Kludge Rk N80
@fredrikandrianto7155 I have rk n80 right now, and it's good the knob is great!!
What about the latest Keychron K series?
Love the aoe shoutout
You need to checkout the Angry Miao Am RGB 65 keyboard or the melgeek mojo84 plastic
You should try the coolkiller ballon 84, there's like zero content on that
Didnt talk about lofree flow keyboard battery
For me the very important part is layout... do they support ISO - and which ones support it? You didn't even mention this.
She has no clue about ISO. Europe is just some place they go for an exotic holiday and museums...
Look at keychron k5 pro (there are other % options, and also max versions for 2.4), they have iso/jis veariants of these, and I love my k5 pro version
@@champipy stop the drama lmao. I use iso too you just have to check in their websites. She gives options and you're just being ungrateful at that point.
@@champipyI'm from Europe and I use ANSI
Are there low profile HE switch keyboards?
just air60he by nuphy
Nuphy just announced the Air75 HE today as well
OMG Age of Empires mentioned, let'sss goooo, GG!
My dad is using low profile key caps in the lychee g66 pro
low profile always underated
No Rog Falchion RX Low Profile keyboard?
Tested it, price is too high for the value that it offers
A lot of the price goes to the Asus/ROG brand, so they are not good value for money.
1-hour gang!!! 🍿
I get it. Full size is too big for you...
I have a problem with LOGIBBOLT, and their MX lines. Their MX mini mice use the old UNIFYING receiver, but their full size mouse uses LogiBolt, WHY? And Logibolt isn't backwards compatible with UNIFYING, I TRIED.
I don't like that either. I had to upgrade my mouse because of that
@@SwitchandClickOfficial Only issue is, I like using the minis on the couch and the big one at my rolling desk by my lay z boy.
how about g515?
Nufhy air60 he u will not have been banned for use this keyboard in cs2??
Need more keyboards that use Kailh choc v2 LPs
why does the Air60 have south facing switches??? makes no sense low proile caps and switches are same all around and dont interfere with anything
i see TTC KOM switches 👀
Best TH-camr keyboards of 2024? Because if consumers can't buy them for delivery before 1st Jan, it's a 2025 keyboard
I want a lofree flow but as a tkl
Still no Cherry MX 10 - big disappoint... :(
loud, not low how they should be. for me keyboard can't be a mechanical type, silent, keys max above case that keep them 1mm, travel distance should be as well the shortest one 2mm or 1mm.
Bttw pls new best 10 $ build plss
The Logitech for that price is ridiculous. Apparently you pay for the name.
No ISO 👀😢😢😢😢😢😢
Logitech G915???
Best? Where's Glove80?
And just another review of ANSI only keyboards and how they sound. How come keyboards are valued like a music instrument for their sound? Without proper keycaps they are absolutely useless, no matter what VIA can do, how exceptional they feel to the touch or if they sound like bells from heaven.
Only one comes in ISO so not really a competition.
ilove you so much you the best
Your glasses are misbalanced and its driving me crazy; maybe have them adjusted?
Lfree.
please don't support lofree keyboards... they seriously messed up their KS backers. They upcharged their KS pledges and delayed their producted to the backers while selling it for cheaper and in stock on taobao
Don’t buy nuphy. Keys will stop working overtime.
Sponsored?
for HE keyboards, the latency is probably super bad on that keyboard so i rather use my Wooting 60HE.

lowfree sucks. it doesnt have 2.4ghz wireless connection. lags like shit.
the new lofree flow lite has a 2.4G dongle, but it's in kickstarter
how fast is the polling rate?
