I am not sure one can recommend the Lofree Flow Lite at this point. The kickstarter delivery keeps getting delayed and the communication style by Lofree is pretty bad. A lot of people have canceled their kickstarter "orders" already.
10:46 The MAGI 65 actually has a shortcut for turning it on and off, so you don't need to use the switch under the Caps Lock key. It's FN + ESC for 5 seconds to power on or off.
I first ever mechanical keyboard was the Nuphy Air75V2. It holds a special place in my heart, but after buying more keyboards and discovering the sound profile I like, the hollow sound of the nuphy just didn’t do it for me anymore. Just sold mine and used that money to buy the lofree lite. Excited to receive mine
I love the MX Mechanical for work. The motion sensor makes a clear difference. Plus it allows to connect to 3 different computers. It's perfect when you work on several computers (like me). Only one keyboard needed, it leaves more space on your desk.
REDRAGON TL84-B, cheap AF around 35 dollars RN, wireless BT and 2,4 ghz, hotswap, it came with redragon blues and installed redragon blacks also very cheap, cherry LP keycaps, RGB, Mac and Windows. If you are just curious like me about low profile mechanicals, this is the answer, if you like the experience you may consider expending more. I don't use that much bc it's not ergonomic, but is useful for travel with it.
i have been thinking of the NuPhy Air 60 V2 with full arrow keys but now i am in a dilemma with those suggestions. Thorough specific research, thank you for your presentation. Despite preferring cherry like profile for typing and a generous case angle, the reduced front height makes my keypresses a lot easier. Definitely, i despise cramped layouts.
Dammit, I already bought the Akko Santorini. It's nice, really pretty and all, but, I really wanted a low profile. I didn’t even know it was possible to have HE switches on low-profile keyboards.
What were the keyboards that didn't make the cut? In particular, I'm curious about the Redragon K652 Azure as an alternative to NuPhy (and it's going on sale for Black Friday). Also, while the Logitech PebbleKeys 2 doesn't have an enthusiast typing experience, it's very inexpensive and the battery lasts up to a year).
@@salut9658 i used the MX mechanical for a while now and then have now recently switched over to a couple of custom built keyboards and the difference is huge !!! I cannot imagine going back to the Mx Mechanical at all now !!!
I can't speak for the Lofree Flow Lite, but I *definitely* prefer the feel of the non-Lite Lofree Flow 84 (tactile switches) to the Nuphy (with similar tactiles). It's a pricy board, though, so I can understand the Lite getting the nod if it's at all similar in feel. The one criticism I have of the Flow 84 is that the rubber feet didn't last long. At some point I should probably see if I can find some replacements, but as I normally use it on my lap, it's not a huge problem or priority.
i have the air75 v2 with moss switches. im not a big fan of the sound and maybe ill get different switches later. software wise, it has via but required me to update the firmware to actually work which needed some specialized software. the battery is pretty good though i havent found out how to gauge remaining battery besides that the keyboard will start chattering which was fixed after a night of charging. overall its a pretty lightweight portable mechanical keyboard that does the job
I bought mine 2 weeks ago. It came with a little bit o damage in the back. But the keyboard works fine, all the keys are good, bluetooth and key remaping workimg as well. Im liking a lot.I bought mine with wisteria switches and the orange case
I like the Azio Cascade Slim, although I wouldn't recommend it (mediocre quality ABS keycaps, not gasket mounted, not QMK/VIA compatible). I just really like how it feels to type on, much more than Nuphy Air 75 v1. If I weren't already happy with what I have, I'd definitely be interested in the Lofree Flow Lite.
You didn't mention that the Nuphy 75Air has rubber feet designed specifically to fit on top of (MacBook) laptop keyboards, making it nice for portable use. However, I prefer my Keychron K7 Max. for it's smaller size and two function keys.
I love Nuphy, have the Field75 HE and Halo96 v2 and they have been flawless. BUT when I bought the Air60 v2, though no hardware issues, it’s very loud and scratchy. Just not a pleasant typing experience sadly.
@@razorgarf I just got the K3P-H3 to use while I travel and it’s fine. I’m fairly new to the mechanical keyboard world though so take my opinion with a grain of salt. BT or USB C wired, hotswappable, and Via. Can use with Windows or Mac. No 2.4 GHz which is fine for my use case. I got mine with gateron low profile brown switches. Switches are sufficient but I’ll probably swap them out if I can find low profiles I like better. My personal preference is something a bit more substantial, but they don’t feel bad or mushy to me. They’re not silent, but are fairly quiet. Much quieter than my full-size keychron was with stock regular size gateron browns and stock key caps. Plastic body is light but doesn’t feel flimsy to me. Overall I’d say it’s fine. It’s not amazing and it doesn’t suck. It gets the job done. Customizing RBG in Via is fun but ultimately superfluous. It’s small enough I can work in limited spaces, but still comfortable to type on. It’s light enough to throw in my backpack and it’s cheap enough I don’t have to stress too much about theft or damage. It meets my expectations for its price point. I’m happy with it as a travel keyboard but I think I would be dissatisfied with it as my daily office keyboard.
I have a problem with LOGIBBOLT, and their MX lines. Their MX mini mice use the old UNIFYING receiver, but their full size mouse uses LogiBolt, WHY? And Logibolt isn't backwards compatible with UNIFYING, I TRIED.
loud, not low how they should be. for me keyboard can't be a mechanical type, silent, keys max above case that keep them 1mm, travel distance should be as well the shortest one 2mm or 1mm.
Ugh. I wish established companies would stop using kickstarter in this way. It's the most shady and anti-consumer thing they could do. I can understand using drop to come up with the funds to then do your large order, but that's not what this is. If Lowfree doesn't capital to meet manufacturing minimums on their own, then what the heck are they doing? Just another warning to not buy this keyboard. It doesn't innovate, it isn't risky, and there is no reason for it to be on kickstarter.
I bought a Keychron K15 Max just two days ago. What was I thinking? Ha, ha! I created a new account after cancelling TH-cam, just to re-subscribe to your channel. Love you, guys!!

You totally gotta finish the year with "best keyboard of 2024" lists and best keyboard for black Friday.
Will do a black friday video similar to our prime day one from last month to look at good deals
This makes me wanna try low profile keebs
You should, they are honestly underrated

I want a magi75...love the design of thw magi65 keyboard by far!!
just checked out with the iQunix Magi65 thanks for the video it definitely helped - keep the reviews coming!
This was quite informative, thanks 🙌🏼
Hello guys. One question, would this be good for gaming? Currently looking for something that is good for work/casual gaming. Thanks
For me the very important part is layout... do they support ISO - and which ones support it? You didn't even mention this.
She has no clue about ISO. Europe is just some place they go for an exotic holiday and museums...
i got iqunix’s magi65 and i really like it! it is a bit heavier than i would want considering i bring it to uni, but it’s not a big dealbreaker for me

Came here curious if the Dygma Raise would make the video
2:44 the silent switches are a little too silent, the audio track might be missing :P
they're there, i just listened to it with my volume all the way up. has a low pitched thumping :)

Betty what are you favorite budget low profiles? I don’t have much cash to spend on a keyboard and I need a low profile one because I travel a lot.
I've been waiting for this video of yours for a long time. 😊❤
wish there were more low profile options with decent clicky switches, blues are too scratchy, want something like box jades in low profile
seems like the market is moving away from offering switches other than linear
ya, less choices for sure, sad

It isn't a bad keyboard, as I use it in the office myself while traveling between buildings. It is the most appropriate one for work place..
It's a great keyboard tbh, I have used it everyday for a year and my typing speed went from 40 - 120wpm

If only the mg65 have a 75 version, needed the function row so went with the lowfree flow
Ohhh exact video was waiting for.
uhhh... idk if it's a joke, but there's no way the silent switches make zero noise, right? lol
it's not, if you turn your volume alll the way up, you'll hear this super low pitched thumping
Dont buy nuphy. Constant problems with not registering key strokes
I’ve seen a lot of recent reviews on Amazon too of people receiving them with damage, missing/wrong key caps, or obviously used when they bought new.
I have a Nuphy, it's excellent but shitty space bar, squeaky and unbalanced. Switched to Keychron, never looking back.
That’s just yours, mine and my dads work fine

What were the other five keyboards that didn't make the cut?
lofree edge, lofree flow 84, asus falchion lp, keychron, corsair k100 air, kzzi
for HE keyboards, the latency is probably super bad on that keyboard so i rather use my Wooting 60HE.

What about the latest Keychron K series?

No Rog Falchion RX Low Profile keyboard?
Tested it, price is too high for the value that it offers
A lot of the price goes to the Asus/ROG brand, so they are not good value for money.
1-hour gang!!! 🍿
thank you
why does the Air60 have south facing switches??? makes no sense low proile caps and switches are same all around and dont interfere with anything
i see TTC KOM switches 👀
low profile always underated
