When I played as a kid, the level of creativity you could use on building your furniture was always my favorite. I would make furniture with lofts and stairs so my character could climb up them in the house and mess around like I had a second floor, sort of, but my file got too big and crashed my wii file so I had to stop playing because I couldn't load into my house anymore after a point and it just ruined my game. I was so sad at the time lmao. I love the nostalgia I feel watching this

This game gives me a nostalgia trip. I remember sitting in a dark room in the basement at age 11, giving each sim a makeover and putting all the guys in skirts and girls in suits just for giggles. This game is also strangely lonely tho. You spend most of your time walking the town in silence because there’s only a certain amount of sims you can have living there. My sims kingdom is pretty good, too. It’s actually legit fun and an improvement over this game.

As a person who played Mysins as a kid, i must inform you that you don’t have to use the essences to build the objects. If you click on the workshop and select whatever blueprints you can build with wooden planks, and then paint the object with the essences. Itll make the game less impossible ;D

This game was honestly so much fun, I played it to death when I was younger. As you progress through the story, you get to actually build people houses, restaurants, stores etc. So just imagine the chaos Kevin could cause with that power lololol

I sold it then to some guy at a flea market. I can assure you that this game is cursed and now he has the curse.

This game has an insane amount of potential. I used to steal everyone’s furniture, delete it from my backpack, kick the sim out of town, and then re invite them and do it over and over until I had 99 of every essence I needed. Also you can kick anyone you want to out of town, not to mention your relationship with sims never goes below acquaintance so you can be mean to them over and over just for the sake of it with no consequence.
Seeing this game finally makes me realize where sims 4 got the mysims trophies from (in all fairness I'd never heard of mysims) I always thought they were loosely based on funko pops.
I'll be honest, Id never heard of MySims until now, but it seemed familiar.... and then it hit me that these little characters are what the collectible statues are in sims 4 is. The more you know. Odd that I never heard of it given I essentially grew up playing the Sims 2. It came out when I was 2 and my earliest memory playing it was when I was in the 1st grade
I have so many good memories from playing My Sims, I love it so much despite its wonkiness. You should try out My Sims Kingdom! It's got an actual story and so much more to do, I think you'd make it extra entertaining.
