This is still my most favourite Sims game. You can drive around, you can get new vehicles, there are actual objectives you have to take care of instead of just playing life (and even then this is completely optional, you can just play life, too) You can move in with another family and burn everything down, then move away. One time I rebuilt the ENTIRE TOWN. I made Mama's house into a research lab with nuclear waste and meat eating plants. You can actually play coop if you have a second memory card and a save file on it. I used to take my Memory Card to a friend just so our Sims could hang out. The possibilities are on such a big spectrum, it's insane. This felt more next-gen than Sims 2 did at the time to me and I'd take it over Sims 4 any day.
Yesss I have sims 2 and bustin out and although the characters look better everything else is better on bustin out. Sims 2 is funny af though they CANNOT dance and it's hilarious.

Erik I got Urbz for Xbox a few days ago and quite frankly, I prefer the GBA version a lot more. There's a story beyond just having to be liked my a rep group and the frame rate doesn't dip to 4 when loading areas.

Actually the organization of the game nowadays is better. Since 2001 there was a LOT of Sims games released & were sold for $60 each one of them. For example, if u wanted a pet, u needed it to buy "the Sims pets". I still remember the price for each one of them because i had 3 & i wanted all of them but obviously I wasn't rich. In conclusion, the organization of the game NOW, IS SO MUCH BETTER. They just need to finally hear Simmers & add these details to the game & it will be perfect.

I remember turning the game, getting on the main menu, and having no idea what anything said. I was still too young to read and he was not helping me at all. TS Busting Out was the game that got me into the franchise. I remember watching a friend playing it at his home, at that time I didn't even know The Sims existed, never heard of it. After literally a minute of watching him play I fell in love with the game, I borrowed it and have been a Simsnut since then. To this day I still don't know why I got so dragged in by TS series. I used to play this game a lot, I still have it for PS2. When I was at "Mom's House" there was some kind of glitch where after she turned on the juke box she would just keep dancing--she wouldn't eat or anything. I actually won this game in story mode. What I learned is you have to be careful about selling stuff in the homes you stay at, because you can also get fined by the owners for the missing stuff.
I have fond memories of playing this game with my sister back in the day. It really was a great Sims game because of the Story mode, but also the coop mode, though Castaways is still my favorite Sims.

When I used to play the original Sims, there would always be this one house that had a defective stove. It would always catch on fire and kill almost, if not everyone.

What if the sound of a fire became Ring of Fire, no more crackling or popping fireplaces, you light a fire and all you hear from it is "And the flames went higher, and it burns burns burns, the ring of fire" I'd install a fireplace in every room of my house, and have candles burning everywhere. I'd also take up smoking so when I smoke I can hear a soft singing Johnny Cash singing to me from the embers of my cig.

I used to play this game a lot, I still have it for PS2. When I was at "Mom's House" there was some kind of glitch where after she turned on the juke box she would just keep dancing--she wouldn't eat or anything. I actually won this game in story mode. What I learned is you have to be careful about selling stuff in the homes you stay at, because you can also get fined by the owners for the missing stuff.

I have fond memories of playing this game with my sister back in the day. It really was a great Sims game because of the Story mode, but also the coop mode, though Castaways is still my favorite Sims.
