You can probably back the internal brakes down to 1 pin. That's what setting I use with my MGL and weightless baits on a non windy day

Broke in my Curado MGL last week. Freakin love it! It’s my new jerkbait reel!
So I had my FEDUTA shirt on Friday after Thanksgiving. Took my new Lux 7”2’ rod and on my first cast, (sorry... no Shimano reel)... caught a nice 2 lb’er out of my neighborhood pond. If only I would of had a Fluke tied on!!! Appreciate all the insight to the equipment you have been using. That Lux rod is super nice.
Just ordered my first lux rod from the 6th 7 1 med heavy may have to get me one them reels for it mgl or the dc from you last video they look awesome. Loved the 1v1 with Ben had to subscribe to his channel. Keep up the awesome videos

Hope it’s better than the last Curado 70-I would believe this reel will get some life from the coastal wade fisherman too, because of the size. Curious how the slx 70 differs, other than price.

How long did it took for you to get your esp rod? I ordered mine this passed monday through their website and they havent sent me any shipping status yet.
@@88jbc 5 days. Lots of times when I order thru them the tracking is behind and I get it before the tracking even registers on the shipping website
