It’s funny how many people want that smallest reel possible in hand. I have really big hands so I don’t really notice any reel until we get into the 200-300 size.

Hey how do you feel about the 6 big bait bag for co anglers to bring as a soft plastic bag? To big and bulky or just perfect to pack full of heaters to have you ready on derby day? I carry a Simms tackle bag but I have My soft plastics separate and trying to find a nice way to bring them along with me?

Love the video 👊 Curado K is my number 1, 2 is SLX MGL, 3 is Curado MGL (IMO the SLX MGL casts amazing for a cheaper price), and then either the SLX XT or DC.

I was wondering which reel do you prefer for casting distance the curado dc or the curado 70 mgl? because I’m look to buy one of these reels buts it’s a hard one. Thinking about using it for t rigs kinda of a light but also kinda heavy not sure
What gear ratio do you recommend for the large swim baits? What is your Tranx/Lux combo setup? Ratio and Rod length? Thanks
How does the 70 MGL do with ned rigs? I've been wanting to try that rig, but I don't use spinning reels since I went to bait casters. The problem is, the lighter line and rigs give me trouble with backlashes on a bait caster unless I just want to throw twenty feet away from me.

Those are gorgeous. I'm Rob Buchanan from Richmond Virginia, I swear by Shimano reels I run their spin cast quick fire as well as a curado. I'm right handed so I find the left hand return is more convenient, heres why, that split second of switching hands. If a fish hits on the drop you stand a chance to lose it. So in my opinion for right handers the left had retrieve is ideal because it eliminates that split second gap, creating a controlled rapid fire capability. I'd love to here your thoughts on the subject

The Curado K is also my favorite. I own almost all the SLX line but the Curado is just a beast of a reel and is perfect for just about anything.

Had the curado k for about a month. After catching a 4.4 it started making grinding sounds while reeling it in. Took it in and went to the curado dc. Been good so far.

Just picked up the scorpion 2021 DC for 190$. The USD is so strong against the JPY right now that it’s incredibly cheap for the Id5 breaking DC reel. Super happy I got one. Already have the Curado K and slx DC

I have 7 Curado K's and someone talked me into a Daiwa Tatula 100XS. They said it was better than the Curado K.... Yeah, it's not.The Curado K is SO smooth. It's a man among boys in its price range.
The tatula sv is an amazing reel it is buttery smooth always. I also love the curados dont get me wrong. But we can take away how the sv runs and casts tiny baits. That being said id rather throw long casts on a curado dc

I've got 2 curado dcs and I always thought that the drag was lacking.
But I've gone back to my Stella 4000 for long cast ability and sufficient drag for a barramundi that are in the creeks I fish.
Ok I’m a beginner on baitcaster. I just got my first baitcaster question is do i need a baitcaster rod? I’m on the cheap side right know. I got the mega cast from a friend that got it from bass pro shop
The curado 50e in my opinion is the best for throwing weightless flukes.

Bought my first shimano. Got the curado k! I got home and saw this video. Makes me feel good about the purchase lol!
I have two '18 Metanium's non DC and two Chronarch's. I have noticed that the Metaniums do cast better and feel smoother. Should be no surprise though since the Metanium's were about $140 more a piece. My sister asked me what she could buy the B'law last year for Xmas, I told her a Metanium, she got him one and he did break down and tell me at the end of this fishing season that it's the best reel he's ever owned. He does currently own two Chronarch's also.
Not sure the deal...but chronarchs are ....wierd. the slx dc is actually better. In the opinion of a scrub.

The Bantams are legit but man the Metaniums are just amazing. Buttery smooth and just hold up so well. They are very pricey but if you know where to look you can get some deals

I love my shimano curado. It was my first baitcaster I bought for myself. It's my baby.
I got a 200 near a year ago & use it a lot 8.5.1 , I pulled in a very near 5lb large mouth bass with out any problem. For the buck,, it is a very good buy,,,hands down

I’m new to baitcasters. And I want the Curado K. But don’t know what gear ratio to get. The most type of fishing I do is jigs, tubes. Some times top water if I feel like it. And I’m starting to get into crank baits and divers. I have a 6.3:1 reel all ready. I’m thinking about getting it in the 7.4:1 and getting the slx rod with it because the rod I have now you can feel the seat of the reel flex when you have a fish on. If you have the slx rod tell me your rating on it please. What Length rod, power and action should I get to go with a 7.4:1 reel for jigs and tubes. I was thinking about a 6,8-7,0 rod length and medium-medium heavy power. And then I would put 30 pound braid on it. I, a big braid guy. Thanks

No. Take it back. I don’t own the Chronarch but that would drive me nuts. I like all my reels to feel the same. Only ones that are different are my 70s. Sorry that happened to ya man. Strange, but I’ve heard others say that too.
