I've had my S24 since release day, and I love it. I've barely scratched the surface of all the features.
Im Super Happy with my S24 Ultra🎉
Me too 1 TB purple color
@@giovannibucio Mine is purple to🎉🎉🎉
Does it support LDAC and LHDC codecs
@@pratikchorey3764LDAC yes but I don't think LHDC will work
@@pratikchorey3764 yes some android powerfull phones like S24Ultra accept this codects but you have to download extra app to do this.
Regarding the vivid color display mode I personally do not care. I have had my s23 ultra in natural mode permanently and I am happy with it. I do it because it looks better and it causes less eye strain. Now, I remember last year people complaining about how Apple's display was better because the colors were more natural. Now that Samsung has prioritized natural colors everybody suddenly appreciates the vivid more saturated mode more. I feel bad for Samsung. You can never please most consumers, it doesn't matter how hard you try. I think after Samsung releases all the updates to fix these issues the s24 ultra will become undoubtedly the best smartphone of 2024.
Phone of the year, easily
💯
agreed I posted the same thing on reddit and some stupid mfs came fighting about the vivid display lmao
Samsung S24 Ultra vs One Plus 12🔥🔥th-cam.com/users/shortsFfvtJ_9QF5o?feature=share
Vivid does work but its only a small pop, probably to try make it more true to life than overly saturated, natural mode has 1 point in warm so thats probs why alot of people think vivid doesnt work, also contrast in developer options help too
Loving my S24 ultra in titanium yellow.. 💛
I have the same and I'm very pleased.
I have the same Color
Same color ❤ it
Pretty yellow 🟡💛.
same here🥰
I have zero problems with the colors on my phone. Maybe because I am coming from a Fold 4, to me the colors look absolutely amazing, natural, bright colors.
Do you like it more than Fold? I am considering to switch from Fold 5
My wife owns the Fold 5, and I am pleasantly surprised by its capabilities. Although it closely resembles the Fold 4 in appearance, it offers significant improvements. In terms of performance, it nearly matches the S24 Ultra, falling short only in the camera and AI capabilities. However, I have read online that these features will be updated in the future.
If you have Samsung Care+ coverage for your Fold 5, I suggest you maintain it. However, if you prioritize camera quality, you may consider trading it in. Otherwise, the Fold 5 is a powerful device that can serve you well until the Fold 6 or S25 Ultra are released.
@@geekatari4391 thank you very much! :)
I literally traded in my Fold4 and it definitely is better. The fold is gimmicky. Once u get past the opening of the fold, it's over with. It's not that practical throughout the day. I'm a truck driver and the cases are too bulky for the phone mounts. The fold is nice to have in addition to an ultra, rather than have it as a daily driver. The ultra is just way better on all fronts.
Same
I don't see why the charging speed seem to upset so many people. In my use case it is perfect, it is not too fast, and not too slow. I have the 35W brick, I plug my phone in, and before I notice it is fully charged. Overnight I charge it on my wireless charger, which is slower, but I am sleeping so I don't mind that. I think not going super ultra mega hyper fast charging is also beneficial for battery health.
Exactly
Best thing for battery health is having the protect battery option on
@@Jesus_Christ_loves_you_alot I have that turned on, too.
But its been years already and no new charging speed
The charging speed isn’t bad but it could be much better, samsung is using the same speed for years while many chinese brands like oppo, oneplus etc… can fully charge in 30 minutes. Samsung is definitely behind other brands when it comes to that and it’s about time to give us at least that option
Regarding the display being washed out, I sort of fixed it by resetting accessibility settings, then tweaking the Vivid color mode to the coolest, then lowering the greens down to around 60%.
Wow....that is better
If you use your phone the right way 45W is enough...lemme explain...batteries don't like being fully charged and they don't like being fully discharged, also the faster they charge the more heat the battery produces (and batteries hate heat)...so keeping your phone topped up to Samsung's built in "battery protection" (which cuts off charging at 80%) is the way to go...wireless charging enables you to top up everytime you put your phone down...so...get some inexpensive 5W wireless pads and dot them around your workplace and house...get a car wireless pad or mount for your car and you won't have charge anxiety ever again (whilst also keeping your battery healthy as possible)...Also disable fast charging over night with routines, if you sleep for 5 hours, it doesn't matter if it charges in 2 hours or 4)...the only time you'd really need to use fast charging is if you were out all day, didn't have a chance to top up, and you have an hour at home before you need to leave again (and this should be a RARE occurrence) ...80w, 120w and so on is just gimmicky...Chinese brands want you to think that charging from 0 to 100% after a long day is how you should use your phone, but even Xiaomi's devs say that continuous ultra fast charging degrades your battery at alarming rates (like 20% per year)...and yea, you can replace your battery, but no official store will give you any guarantee that your phone is again water resistant after assembly. So keeping your original battery going for 4 years instead of 2 makes sense....btw I love my S24Ultra, here's to all you Galaxy knights 🍻
Former S22 Ultra user here. Totally agree on the battery life. That alone has been well worth the upgrade for me. Same with the flat display so I can actually write fast notes in the Notes app without having that cursed edge.
I actually have a s22 ultra and I love it. Is it worth to upgrade to s24 ultra or I wait ?
@dominiclussier8810 Depends on what you use your phone for and if battery life is a big deal. Many reviewers have stated if you have an S23, no need to upgrade, but if you have an S22 or older flagship, then best to upgrade. I just got tired of the battery drain compared to other phones. I had some other niggles with the S22 Ultra as well that I was just ready to upgrade 🙂
I didn't get any upgrade on battery from my s22u .. but this screen is so much better! Love the phone
I honestly wasn't going to upgrade to the S24 Ultra since I have the S23U and was more than satisfied with it , up until one point yesterday...
Rest my phone on my nightstand & the minute the phone dropped, it impacted with my lower drawer before falling to the floor, & guess what! Screen got a crack from the edge screen & this basically f-ed up my screenshot digitizer (literally, half of the screen is blacking out) & I am not about to spend another $400 to repair this phone when I can just trade it in. I'm f-ing upset rn. 😒
After this, I'm completely done with edge screen phones now (I didn't mind it then, but I do). I'll admit, edge is annoying for note-taking, even.
Absolutely loving my s24 Ultra 😊

Super happy with my Violet Thanos S24ULTRA. Coming from the Fold 4
XEETECHCARE, how would you compare the vibrancy and color saturation of the S-24U, to the iPhone 15 Pro Max?
How do you have your battery settings set up on your S24 U @xeetechcare?
Everything on default
FHD+ Display
Light Performance Mode (it doesn't apply to games)
Perfect thank you!
should i get magsafe case for this or not I don't have that many magsafe accessories
I don't think people understand how these battery charging things work. I mean. Don't you think everyone would be speeding up their charging if it was that simple? here's the thing... educate yourself. Faster charging means a shorter lifespan. Longer charging means a longer lifespan. The faster you charge a device the more it contributes to battery degradation. So no we don't need fast charging if it means that the lifespan is reduced. Then what we gonna do next? Complain that the phones lifespan is short? Think about it, that will cause Samsung to lose clients. Their not stupid. They will rather give a bigger battery than faster charging. I for one would rather charge longer than have a phone I can only use for a few months before it gives in.
is this a sample device>? you can see the series printed on the back?
I love mine and i like the screen its not a provlem for me. But! There are bugs in this phone that need sorting not just the camera. I cant toggle on a couple options in settings them being quick notes options and erase background mode in always on display option. Also when i turn on the hold in to power off in side button settings it works for aboyt 30 mins and then reverts back to opening goofle wallet with press and hold! Its bizarre and annoying. We really need an update
S24Ultra love it. R.i.p my ex iphone

Hi.. Where did you get the lego blocks wallpaper?
I wonder of you optimized the settings on your phone before your did an evaluation
It has become a thing that every new release of each phone may have some unexpected issues which you shouldn't have at all from a new device. It should work flawlessly as possible but many bugs and errors give a bad impression to that product. This thing should be brought under consideration.
Hi Mate, can you please elaborate about the PALM SWIPE feature for screenshot
Even though I have switched it on, unable to take the screenshot
Kindly check and let us all know
Have you noticed any grain or banding issues in the display? Apparently a lot of people have a defect where it looks grainy when low brightness and grey background, for example the chrome incognito new tab screen
My phone looks like that. I no see any grain on my s23 ultra but the 24 looks like the Nintendo switch oled people thinks is the UI but is not is the oled screen looks so grainy and this s24 same thing
You have a bad display. It's on reddit. Grainy display seems like a hardware issue where the banding seems more like a software issue.
I do have the grain. I thought it's the feature for lower brightness and it doesn't bother me that much actually. I kind of liked it. Now I now it's a defect :(
I love this Phone, i have it now since the 3th of February and now it got the Update, which makes it even better and fixed the vivid mode.
I was a A series Phone user before, but they are laggy and cheaply made. The S24 Ultra never lagged or runned slow and the cameras are insane. And i love the display 🤩

Omg! Thank you! You mentioned the High Quality Upload setting and I was wondering why my Instagram wasn't uploading great. My setting was off, which turns out, by default it is off! Daah. Great video, thank you.
What high quality upload option where is that ?
What's the Screen On Time you getting on S24Ultra?
Didn't understand where you said make sure high quality uploads are enabled ?
Where is that located?
I found this setting in Instagram, under settings, data usage and media quality. It's off by default in Instagram.
I thought it was just me in the TH-cam app sometimes get unresponsive doesn't go up or down, I have to exit it and enter again and it works just fine, so far my only real issue, also the vivid more I hope it gets fixed I prefer a bit more saturation but definitely not a deal-breaker, great video as always, keep em coming 👌
Thanks! They really need to update the TH-cam App asap.
@@XEETECHCAREwell another issue for me is no real gaming upgrade this year like Apple did with Capcom...we Android users have to use emulators as an option...hope Samsung improves on this soon, why such a powerful phone if it doesn't run proper intensive games like resident evil village

Does the slomotion feature also work with videos which you didnt shot on the s24?
Gave it a try, but it didn't work on my S24U.
Yes, the video just has to be a minimum of 720p and maximum 4k resolutions.
I would for sure put a case on it, my S23 Ultra has a cracked back glass panel, I didn't do it, but it happened in shipping, which sucks, but shows it can still break even when it has a little protection, where now my S23 Ultra has an Otterbox Defender Pro case on it, making it virtually indestructible as long as it doesn't land on anything that hits the screen, though the front glass is pretty tough as well. I know some people have some issue with Otterbox but I have never had a phone break or get damaged in an Otterbox case, neither has any of my family and friends who have been using Otterbox for years. I also love how the Defender Pro case makes the phone feel bigger then it is, which for me I love, as well as the texture and fell to the Otterbox Defender Pro case, and I can still wirelessly charge through the case, which is a bonus. Also having a case like the Otterbox Defender or Defender Pro, it is really hard to get accidental touches on the screen, and I personally love the curved display, at least the one on the S23 Ultra as it is the perfect amount of curve I think, over the genric looking flat display, since pretty much every display on any device is flat, where a slight curve adds to the phone more then it takes away. Even though the screen itself is nice on the S24 Ultra, because it is entirely flat, I can't help but think of it being a cheaper display, which it is, because flat displays are cheaper to make then curved displays, but that doesn't bring down the price of an S24 Ultra, nearly $2000 CAD for a 512gb version, $1800 CAD for 256gb version, where I am very much happy with my S23 Ultra I paid only $1200 for, and is 95% the same phone, at least software side and once One UI 6.1 comes to the S23 Ultra.
Are the low light capabilities better after the update? Wbt shutter speeds??
Get the 120watt magnetic charger adaptor,to speed up the charging speed plus it also protects the USB charging port
Would a clear screen protector be ok for this from Samsung like would it affect the screen clarity in any way
Yes but you'll lose the anti-glare. Samsung has an "anti-glare" screen protector but I haven't tried it.
Love that wallpaper. Where did you get the wallpaper from.
what's that wsj code on the bootom?
How about snapchat being Shaky? ois is not working, but is working well in director mode
6:35 They did the right thing keeping the 3x but it is now more shadowed because of how good the 5x is. They should've improved the 3x, atleast giving a 12mp rather than 10mp sensor. It's usefull to have a closer optical lense.
Iam scared about the camera do you know how to protect it ? Does the s22 ultra camera gets scratch easily ?
Tips please to extend my battery life, I have an s24 ultra on light performance profile, fhd and it only lasts about 7-8 hours while some people get 11-12 houes
Love the phone but object eraser does not work properly (Don't mean the new AI eraser but the old one where you can circle and delete...it leaves blurry images and artifacts sometimes)
@everyone I need your help im planning to buy iphone or samsung S series i cant decide very well can someone help me which do I choose?

I have the s23u and s24u but I just find that the scrolling + when opening notification area to be much smoother on the s23u. I have the animation thingy on 0.5x for both phones in developer options. Anyone else experiencing this?

I haven't gotten any improvement in battery over my s22u.. if anything my battery life went down a bit.. I'm very disappointed with the orange 🧡.. I thought it would have been more like orange... But that screen on my s24u is such an upgrade from my s22u. I definitely feel like I upgraded.. except for the battery.
I love the 3x and 5x combo as I shoot a lot of portraits and I don't go to concerts often, or shoot wildlife, or shoot something far away that I'm not even interested lol. the 10x is a bad lens on my previous s23 ultra I'm glad they added the 5x it's soooo much better!! and the 3x is great for half body shots with a Lil bit of background, the 5x makes you the star and I love that combo. the 10x is just a show off and it's not really good in 100x zoom.
The 10x optical zoom system is much better than the new 5x system and you simply know it is, otherwise you would not even bother commenting on here. It sounds to me like you are almost trying to convince YOURSELF in your comment?. With all due respect.

As a long time ultra user, i approve of all the changes made. Issues: 3x, over exposure with mainly the 3x, camera color tuning all lenses(, some old features missing, and that's it. All issues are being addressed via software. I prefer the curve screen still but the anti reflection in combination with the flat screen are welcome. This phone is untouchable. Battery life is unheard of, Regardless of resolution or performance profile. I hope they stick with the 3x,5x combo, i believe there's better continuity between the lenses, 10x and beyond had no real drop-off. All of the additions with screen tuning, AI, gallery, battery etc are things that will become noticeable down the line. A true computing companion. Heavy praise from most and very little underwhelmed chatter. I'm blown away though and haven't even began to uncover what's all here. Coming from the S22U SD.
I've already gotten some AI features in S23U. Something called Galaxy Enhance- X. Is one of them i just got an update sp haven't explored the rest.
What about a 50 mp 3.5x periscope (tele macro) + 200 mp 12X periscope camera? With 30x hybrid lossless zoom and 120x digital zoom, 50 mp 128° ultra wide ! 5500 mAh+ 80W charging🤔
The cameras suck on the S24U period. I have to take multiple shots to get one that is finally in focus. My S23U was way better in the camera department.
@@jimdiet8534 Wait for the update. We shouldn't be waiting for fix for a new things be buy but there is nothing we can do.
I think we need to wait for a decade for that 😅
The problem with charging faster is the battery degrades quicker. That's why Samsung didn't bother with 50w.
I had a MI10T lite 5G that had 40w i think,but i started to degrade rather fast.
Very happy with it.
But honestly in terms of heat management
S23U>>S24U
Heat management is better on my s24 ultra.
What's the best keyboard to use on the s24 ultra
I'm still with Gboard 🎉
I agree they should've ditched the 3× instead of 10× because the 200MP is a large crop to give even better quality 3× shot than the dedicated 3× telephoto we have or they couldve added 1 more lens and made the camera array symmetrical because I'm not a fan of the p shaped camera array
i m happy with my s24+
The s24 plus is really good. Creators always think for some reason everyone wants the ultra
Yeah TH-cam is bugging a bit
Nice that You also noticed
Well, I did everything right. For me the 10x zoom and also the 20 - 30x range are important. That's why I'm sticking with the S23U. I agree, the combination 5x 10x would have been very cool.
It would have been too costly in Samsung's eyes unfortunately. Just cut costs and bluff that the new zoom system is actually better was Samsung's agenda here.
My 3 month old fold 5 screen just split apart up the fold once again! And never been dropped, been in case protect and treated very carful as almost frightened of a fold now! But I did not expect the 25% stronger screen to give up so easy! As for the cpu in the fold 5 it's Terrible so slow and laggy even after one ui 6 update the fold 4 was definitely the best yet for it just working just shame that screen gave up on the 8th month! So back to my s21 ultra just now till warranty sorted I do not want a replacement fold 5 I'm going with an s24 ultra this time! It's difficult to get used to a brick again from the fold though but not having anymore I'm done with the folds!
Does anyone else not use a case on the S24U like me? Do you find it very slippery to hold due to the titanium finish? It's like a bar of soap because of theMatte finish.
Its really mainly the pointy edges that throw me off, it would always get stuck when i try to slide it in poket i feel like...
Hey, I've got an S24 Ultra, and I'm having a problem with the battery. It keeps draining even when the screen is off.
I upgraded from Galaxy Note 9 and maaan.. This is next level. 120hz screen is amazing, everything is so fluid. I am a bit dissapointed with AI features a bit though. The writing assistant is from keyboard level, and I am using Swiftkeys for years, that doesn't have AI but I am used to it, and don't want to switch. Screen is also less saturated I think. But it's fine. And I love the battery life :)

Thanks samsung but anyway I'm also a bigger fan of curved screens.
Does anyone have some problem with portrait mode? Like, some details are wrong?
I returned mine--the sound is subpar compared to my Note 10 plus and sounds tinny. It's also too heavy and the display seemed dull. I don't get the hype.
Turn off eye comfort, color tone, and extra brightness (unless you're outside. Also turn on extra dim in visual enhancements. This will make the display much better and close to the vivid tone people want.
There's leaks of a new update upcoming letting you adjust the vivid mode manually like saturation colors.
@@sharkz7902That was a lie on the part of one customer rep... Samsung confirmed there is no fix coming!
The camera needs major work. Shooting videos in the automatic mode is terrible. If the phone is still and you are recording its fine but once you start moving the camera, panning, etc. The quality gets bad. Frame skips, jittery, etc. The automatic switching of the shutter speed, iso, white balance, etc is way to aggressive and sensitive. Basically you have to shoot in pro mode to get a decent video
Sadly that's True
I wish they tuned it more as it's one of the best but lacks polish

It's controversial by iPhone staff, nothing happened. After update, it gonna put iphone into dustbin
@@ramandeep007ah yes, those always and forever “updates” that’ll be happening in the future at some point that no one knows about, that’ll fix absolutely nothing, like always.
My s24ultra automatically restart i not happy this phone .and same problem my pervious s23ultra so i sold out and buy new s24ultra thne same problem here why plz help me
Must be a misbehaving app
The s23 ultra is still amazing battery been using it for 8 months and it’s been great the best battery ever I’ve experienced 😊
The only thing I dislike is not be able to record in 0.5× the .6 is to close in my case since i do pole dancing and the studio I practice the ceiling is pretty high and the phone can't record the whole pole without putting in other people's way
How many years i am listening about lag on Samsung phones that is unbelievable
Something to consider is that the writing style feature is not worldwide yet. I can use it perfectly in the USA but not in another country. even if I'm using the VPN and so on. Do you know a solution to this feature? all the rest of AI works perfectly.
The previous phones had like a 130% RGB color space but the S24U has a 95% or something which is why the color pops less
You said s24 ultra has a max of 45 watt charging level? Is this correct? I thought it was 65
Yes, just 45 watts
I've used the S24 Ultra since Feb 1st, not a single issue here, but I'm happier and so satisfied more than ever with the S24 and ditching the 13 Pro Max I had. I also ditch the Ultra Watch for a Classic 6 43mm.
Gonna wait for the S25 ultra baby
