im super late to the party but if you decide to do that e brake "mod" pls put rubberbands from both sides to prevent the shifter from snapping back like that. It increases longevity and is way quieter lol
i guess it’s good if you’re not into shifting but more into using the handbrake and for me, that’s the case bc most handbrakes are hella expensive but with the logitech shifter, it’s not a bad price
@@boop5941depending on the game you use you can set clutch deadzone to max out at 85 percent for full clutch engage and make the ebrake dead zones to be the last 15 percent of the clutch since you clutch in when you ebrake anyways what I did before i got my e brake

Can you use two logitech gear shifters at the sane time? One as a gear shifter and one set up like this to be a handbrake. I ask as the handbrake cost quite a lot and on a budget and you can pick up the gearshifter for £20-£30. Thx

For the handle, it's from car tuning shop. Others, there was a racing simulator shop in Thailand.

I don't have any problems it's durable, but for safety don't do it so hard would be good.

No you can't , G29 has only one connector port for shifter. You have to use paddle shift instead.

its still just 0-100, there's no variability in how much you're pulling the handbrake, cool idea but I'd rather just buy a cheap usb handbrake

Late reply Ik but depending on the game you would be able to do custom button assignments so assign 4th to handbrake and everything else neutral
