I've had quite a few people give underhanded comments about my associates degree One person gone say "oh that's all I thought you would have a masters" I'm 1 year away from having my bachelor's and I'm proud. Other people at work would say "oh I already have a degree" this is after I shared that I was pursuing my bachelor's and had started self studying tax laws. Needless to say I learned to keep my business to myself.

When I started my business my ex would do little things to ruin my work. I would ask him for help with smaller things I would ask him to load the car he would leave some of the most important things. Listening to healing music like "I Am Light" by India Arie. Showing gratitude and thanking God for every day, good or bad. Journaling. Rejecting negative self talk, but accepting constructive criticism from myself and others. Sitting with the pains of my childhood and holding that little girl that I was, telling her that she was good and beautiful and special. It's helped me so much...I can actually say that I LOVE ME, regardless of what others may feel. This has helped me to heal and to continue to heal.

Here's my experience. I wasn't dating the guy, but once I stopped giving him access to me, he started stalking and harassing me. He hacked into my phone and email. He was bashing me online with other people. He put my pictures on dating sites, pretending to be me. He even sent stuff to my address whenever he signed me up for something. He had people helping him stalk and harass me. All because i didnt want him in my life anymore.

I wfh as a software engineer. I was dating a guy who was a bus driver. On his off days he stayed at my place because we had different off days it was hard to see each other. I would take long lunches so I could be with him and watch movies with him. I didn’t go shopping or run errands or anything, I spent an extra hour of the work day in bed with him watching tv.. one day this mf gone say “I’m going to tell your boss you sleep on the clock” he assumed my coworker I complained about was my boss, I never told him my boss name. This is crazy my son‘s father offered to take our son for the summer so I can get a little more money possibly go to school and do a one week vacation to Alaska and this Wednesday. He called me claiming a mental health scare and to get our son by the time I’ve got my kid he mentioned leaving the states maybe going to Maine or Alaska and he don’t know if he’s ever coming back. Not to mention my cruise to Alaska is next month .Our son is 10 and the past five years. I’ve been fighting depression and anxiety, trying hard to get back to my natural state of mind and now he doesn’t want to be a parent anymore. He’s not on child support and I don’t keep our kid from him. and cuss me and my mom out yesterday. SMH I’m so unbothered all I can do is pray for the best and be the best I can for our kid. But stayed with fam to celebrate. He said he realized when I picked my cap and gown that I was going places and he wasn’t 🤦🏽♀️

When I started my business my ex would do little things to ruin my work. I would ask him for help with smaller things I would ask him to load the car he would leave some of the most important things. He wanted me to just go to work be miserable and come back home to clean up after him. He hated that my business took my time. I would have never started my business if he had started one. I would have helped him with his. But he had no ambition. Always late on rent. Always playing his damn video games while I worked my ass off to go 50/50 😅. It was never 50/50. Maybe on the bills but never the labor at home.

Listening to healing music like "I Am Light" by India Arie. Showing gratitude and thanking God for every day, good or bad. Journaling. Rejecting negative self talk, but accepting constructive criticism from myself and others. Sitting with the pains of my childhood and holding that little girl that I was, telling her that she was good and beautiful and special. It's helped me so much...I can actually say that I LOVE ME, regardless of what others may feel. This has helped me to heal and to continue to heal.

Here's my experience. I wasn't dating the guy, but once I stopped giving him access to me, he started stalking and harassing me. He hacked into my phone and email. He was bashing me online with other people. He put my pictures on dating sites, pretending to be me. He even sent stuff to my address whenever he signed me up for something. He had people helping him stalk and harass me. All because i didnt want him in my life anymore.

I wfh as a software engineer. I was dating a guy who was a bus driver. On his off days he stayed at my place because we had different off days it was hard to see each other. I would take long lunches so I could be with him and watch movies with him. I didn’t go shopping or run errands or anything, I spent an extra hour of the work day in bed with him watching tv.. one day this mf gone say “I’m going to tell your boss you sleep on the clock” he assumed my coworker I complained about was my boss, I never told him my boss name. My real boss told me I could take a break whenever as long as it wasn’t over 4hours. Anyway we aren’t together anymore because I knew only a jealous person would say or do something like that. This is crazy my son‘s father offered to take our son for the summer so I can get a little more money possibly go to school and do a one week vacation to Alaska and this Wednesday. He called me claiming a mental health scare and to get our son by the time I’ve got my kid he mentioned leaving the states maybe going to Maine or Alaska and he don’t know if he’s ever coming back. Not to mention my cruise to Alaska is next month .Our son is 10 and the past five years. I’ve been fighting depression and anxiety, trying hard to get back to my natural state of mind and now he doesn’t want to be a parent anymore. He’s not on child support and I don’t keep our kid from him. and cuss me and my mom out yesterday. SMH I’m so unbothered all I can do is pray for the best and be the best I can for our kid. We fell out many times - mainly because of her, for silly reasons but then I drew the line. When I finally turned my back on her toxic friendship, she used a mutual friend at the time, to pry for information about how well (or not) I was doing.
Thankfully the mutual friend told me or I would never have known. Saw her in a completely different light after that.

He tried to ruin my bachelors degree graduation party and he was mad I didn’t give him credit for me finishing school. But he didn’t support me any of the way with it.
