Police are notorious for saying "unless they do something there's nothing we can do" That's why you hear so many true crime series of people getting out of a relationship. The ex makes their life hell. They make several police reports. They may grant a no contact order (PSA those don't do shit) cycle continues & ends with police getting a call from saying the person is missing & later found unalived or never found again at that OR they found their family member/friend unalived doing their own welfare check. So damn sad and many could have been prevented if the cops took it serious from the very beginning...smh

Some of what you said makes sense… BUT a lot of what you say is very much victim blaming… you should have spoken to him… you should not wear … you should not have shared your personal information to someone (you are getting serious with or live with…). That is just not reasonable… you have to get to know someone before hand to have a serious relationship… it’s more a thing of being hyper vigilant about your surroundings and who you interact with…. Being careful and when at all possible don’t be alone in situations that are questionable… because like has been said over and over again… they don’t need a reason… they just want to believe what they like.. as seen in the last video where she did not even know she was being stalked… or the one who looked over her messages and they showed up as being red… if you are reading and filing them as evidence for a future date… you have to look…. This is not about the victim doing this or not wearing that… It’s about surrounding yourself with your people and being aware and taking time to get to know a potential partner and ALWAYS be aware of who and where you are surrounded with… because the truth is that you never know… these people have a mental issue that see no reasoning…. It can happen to anyone through no fault or invitation at all… part of the time they don’t even know you… so victim blaming/ shaming is not the move…

Codependency is not narcissism! Also love bombing is a form of abuse, the victim is selected and studied such that they don’t see it coming so you can’t just say don’t accept love bombing. Just call these people toxic and don’t diagnose them.

I knew his long time gf of 8 years & had witnessed him being very controlling and condescending to her-which I didn’t like but hey, it was her life and their relationship (not my business). She had centered her life around him for 8 years but he never even proposed to her… I then find out she decided to go back to law school and she was 38 yrs old when she did (good for her). However they broke up bc he refused to try and make a long-distance relationship work… A couple of years of her now going full speed as a law student & his life kinda falling apart, I asked him why if they loved each other as much as this did, wouldn’t he just bite the bullet for 3 years and do long distance…? He wasn’t dating anyone else anyway… he said “bc I know myself and I’m going to resent her for not giving me the attention I need…” I was like WTF?!! Imagine someone being so fukken childish that they can moderate their emotions to support their partner & instead throw a toddler tantrum bc they want all of mommy’s attention?! Unbelievable… I’m glad she didn’t give into him. She has now graduated and is starting a whole new life at 41!! 🎉 I’ve since distanced myself from him realizing I can’t respect him, he’s kind of a misogynist macho man and I now playback several conversations over the years and realize that he was always jealous of my success (I was his boss; we’re the same age and I was 3-levels above him… while he pretended to be supportive I now realize he made little indirect “digs” at me from time to time..I simply chose to ignore them bc I thought he was my friend). Yes, they go into shock when you call them out. I had 1 stranger stalker for 9 years, followed me 11 miles to my job, then parked in front of my house for 1 hour EVERYDAY. I moved far away! This new stranger stalker was active for 1 year. I knew he was monitoring me through my WiFi and parked in front of my living room windows. He is the next door apartment’s maintenance (old) man. I called him out by my WiFi name: wifistalkerwhitepickup and strangerstalkerwhitepickup. As soon as I saw him look at his phone under my balcony and his jaw dropped! I put a lightbulb camera on my back balcony. He disappeared for a month. Then came back in his maintenance uniform like he has the right to be there. He was humiliated! He sent the Elite Pest Control to my front door and this is NOT their apartment complex at all. Good golly, my front door! Trying to get in. Good golly! He doesn’t stalk or loiter anymore. Camera is always on BYE BYE STALKER!!

I HAVE A CRAZY STORY I had an online stalker that stalked me for YEARS and he just wouldn't go away! Turns out he does that to very single girl he meets. I found out once I made a story about what a stalked he is! Me and the girls made a group chat and talked about everything we went thru. One day he got brutally beaten by one of the girls who did kickboxing (not in the group chat). He was in the hospital for a while and stalking stopped. Once he was sent home he went back to stalking all of us again until Instagram came up with the "block this account and block all the potential accounts they may create" feature. Then we were all safe finally.
