- I can't believe it's been about 6 years since I got my WRX! Time flew by. Looking back at all my service records it's shocking how cheap and reliable this thing has been. Just basic maintenance and a couple recalls that got fixed.
Car was stage 2 for a couple years when I first got it. I used to run an Invidia Q300 with a catless downpipe. It was even straightpiped at once. Also ran DGR coilovers for awhile. Lately I've been keeping it stock with a cobb ots stage 1 tune with stock exhaust and stock intake. No problems at the moment.

I have a 2013 also and have had no issues with it even with stage 2. These can be good cars as long as you take good care of them.
djfelon4life what type of care I’m looking to buy one but I need help
What do you mean by take good care with them
@@Fckfwd I assume he just means being on top of maintenance and religious about oil changes. I just brought home my 13 wrx and I've been doing my research and and many people say that. But it's incredibly fun and I love the car
Oil change every 3k buddy
You can tell going back to stock is a good decision.
I plan on getting a WRX of this generation once I make enough money to buy one. These cars look so good it's hard to resist
I used to own a 17 STI now I own a 2019 WRX. I love it. It’s so good on gas vs. the STI. One may wonder why in the world would I trade it.. in a way I did not. When I got rid of the STI I bought a Toyota Corolla iM. I liked that car however it just wasn’t the car for me I think it was the Cvt that didn’t do it for me. I got the Toyota for far drives to work in LA.. I am amazed that the WRX is only 2-3 AVG mpgs less than the Toyota.. so worth it for being a much more fun car.
15/23 mpg. Vs 20/27mpg. Big difference!
Any concern on transmission issue reports?
Thinking about getting one of these as my first car. I've been dailying my dads 4x4 for over 2 years. Found quite a nice deal on a clean 2013 wrx and i'll go check it out if its still available.
soo....... did you buy it?
@@firebird22386 I don’t think he actually did.
Have the exact same protection film on the door panels of my 2013 WRX that went grey/dirty just like yours. Takes awhile to get them off but you should definitely because a few more years it will crack and removing it will take off the clear coat. I used a heat gun and putty scraper worked great no damage to the paint
Looking at videos on rod knock nice to see someone has good things to say about a wrx lol
Gotta replace or remove that factory PPF on the rear doors
This was filmed on my birthday 3 years ago
Did you ever got the check engine light on- cruise control light blinking and the traction control lights on at the same time and your engine shut off while driving?! HELP! Also a rough start
Just a heads up, the Stage 1 Map is slower than the stock map. Coming from an auto tech who just put it on my stock 2011 wrx. Took it off right away, it just put the power band into mid range rpm and got rid of the top end pull which is where the car makes good power..
Great video thanks!
You have one fire ass car
So many different colors. wow!
Esta muy excelente tu vídeo, me ha servido mucho para darme una idea de como es tener un subaru año 2013, la verdad quiero comprar uno-
Daaaamn, looks sharp. Have you driven a 2015+? Wondering how it compares…
Shoulda got the hatch
Sedans look cooler imo sharper looking hatch reminds me of a mini van
The hatchback is the same right?
Yes..
@@chickenricesteak541 How is a hatch the same as a sedan?💀
Dr. Rick same engine and trans? Same front end only difference is the trunk?
Dr. Rick lol
The front under piece is called the valence
Get wider rimms bro
So I'm looking at a used 2013 Impreza wrx sti , it's one of my favorite models but it's at a local dealer kinda over priced at 19,000 in my opinion cause its has almost 130,000 isn't that alot of miles ? But yeah appreciate the video only thing it's not the best for realistic dailying cause majority dont take vacations from their car lmao
Yeah that's a little pricey for that many miles in my opinion.
I was looking at the same year but just WRX and I live in Montreal Canada and they are going for the same price
@@MrPoOnJaYy they probably get it from a online source then unfortunately
Just brought a 14 wrx for 14000 w 90,000 miles cars pretty clean minor scartches interior is clean hopefully engine lasts me a little I’ll be taking car of the car and not driving it hard lol
Don’t buy it. Idk if you did or not but that’s when they blow.
It's a 2013 wrx but he got it in 2013.....hmmmmmmmmm
got it in 2012, I think he said
Updates?
I sold it in December 2018 :( but I've had a lot of cool stuff since then which I haven't made any videos about. 2020 M340i, 2021 Camaro LT1, 2022 RS6 Avant
The only issue I had was it rattles the worst of any car In this world, throw away the stereo cos u never gonna enjoy music again
Well no shit bro you only driven that shit for 47k miles kind of hard to see what problems pop up at those miles
Bone stock 2013 wrx. Purchased at 26kms By far the worst car ive ever owned. 11k dollars in 80,000 kms... didnt thrash mine. Happy i sold it.
Are these Turbocharged?
Yes
No wonder you don’t have any problems with ur car she’s a garage queen lol. Just kidding,
Camber kit
Fill up that tank your getting deposits that will clog yo shit up
6 years and not even 50k miles!
And that’s why he’s had no problems
@@q-bert6454 mine has 80k miles on a 2012 and have no issues either
@@q-bert6454 it comes down to if you take care of the car, not necessarily miles
@@q-bert6454 76k here. engine went bust at 12k miles but subaru replaced it. no issues since.

Kinda stupid calculating 'running costs'if everything is free or included in a lease.. Like completely useless information!
