There is currently no other singer who can handle a TMS song with the expertise of Santosh Subramaniam. Agreed. He's a very good singer singing so expressively. Yet, we are yet to come across a voice matching TMS's majesty and that dynamics. This's a fact. Maybe, that's why he still stays as a beaconing icon.
@@vasudevancv8470 of course! There is no second TMS. His tamil pronunciation is unmatched and his deep voice with passion cannot be recreated by anyone except him reborn! My appreciation of Santosh is that he comes close enough for us to enjoy these songs with the advanced multiple track recordings of those memorable songs of TMS!

MANNARGAL - why they are emperors of melody - another testament is this song! Melody oozes in every inch of this song!

Why watch ? - Such a supremely magnetic Makkal Thilagam and in my opinion the ultimate pinnacle and epitome of beauty - Naatiya Peroli - Her expressions are just way beyond description!
This song was my request to be featured in QFR and I am glad it was performed by two of my favorite singers - the unparalleled TMS of QFR - Santhosh and supremely talented Vishruthi - her expression filled rendering of tough sangadhis are a delight!
The entire set of musicians deserve a special praise for bringing out that soul of the song - such a blessing to being playing this immortal song of MANNARGAL!

Really enjoyed today's presentation. I have listened this song countless times on radio, cassette, CD and on you tube and yet get fascinated every time I hear it. Santosh was, as usual, at his very best. I enjoy listening to him, especially his pronunciation, replicating TMS. It was Vishruthi that gave us a visual and singing treat... see her expressions at 5:45, 6:19, 6:34, 7:32, 8: 00 and finally when both did the humming at the end. That was "thalattu" par excellence. Wow, wow....
What a performance. While I mentioned the singers, nothing should be taken away from the entire QFR team. Thank you to Suba mam for selecting this song and again, kudos to the entire QFR team for such an enchanting performance.
