I love how everyone complains about the sounds these sim wheels make but forget the fact that when your in a real car all you hear it sounds🤣

@@JustinHackertMuzak except you don't drive a racecar in your living room. Ideally you'd want to strike a balance of fun and sound so you're not annoying everyone in the house, when you're racing irl you're only around other race cars in an environment where being loud is acceptable around people who are fine with the noise, when you're sim racing at home you're, well, at home, definitely not the same thing. Also, my car is way quieter than the clanking of a g29. Unless you have a hoopty, a bowl of rice or a clapped out sports car, your car isn't nearly as loud.

FACTS
Yes mate, got a second hand one about 2mths ago, the difference to me from the G29 can be as much as aa second, track dependent.
Unfortunately my servo is on it's last legs and has to be manually calibrated in game after the wheel has finished it's fit 😁. I will be buying a replacement servo soon.
It also came with an extra wheel which was the first Ferrari add on. I did not use it for about two weeks, thinking it a toy. That was a mistake, that second that I spoke of, half of that belongs to that wheel.

I've had my T300RS GT for about six months and it's awesome for the money, certainly more realistic than my G29 ever was. The brake pedal has only one position because with the arm being made of plastic, if the pedal was offset it would cause too much sideways flex and potentially break causing a lot of warranty and disappointed customers. Makes sense to me since the other pedals move laterally that this should never be an issue, simply move the other pedals. Any entry level setup needs work in order to be a decent sim wheel as opposed to an arcade wheel that it is out of the box. Even the T300 benefits from the Noctua fan upgrade and the metal bearings and cog replacement. These upgrades provide hours of continuous use without overheating and causing degradation of the FFB or slippage of the wheels center position. The potentiometer based pedals are just fine for entry level pedals and compared to the Logitech pedals, the potentiometers are much better quality and don't have a silly pseudo load cell attempt with awful firmware and software. Having owned both the G29 and T300, there's no contest, T300RS GT for an affordable entry level sim setup all the way!✌😎

These are the best just above entry level wheel imo. Its just a shame thrustmaster insists on asking a bit too much for them considering how long they've been around. I have an older T300 Ferrari GTE with the two pedals. Its probably 9 years old. Yet it still works on ps5 and gt7 acceptably considering how old it is. If thrustmaster lowered the price to a more realistic 5 to 600NZD they'd blow the G923 and logitech away. And even then I reckon these are worth another couple hundred over the g923 just for the no noise and lack of gear feeling the g923's have.

One question concerning how the clutch engine react, for example, what happen when releasing the clutch so quickly (in normal car it would stop engine), and other case deliberately pushing the clutch while gasing at the same time etc..
Love mine i have 2 of them my daily use one and i picked up a back up used all i really wanted was rhe t3pa pro pedals but got the pedals and rhe wheel for 170 bucks so i now have a back up wheel and servo
Same thing happened to me very generous seller even gave me a decent wheel base stand.
I just got one yesterday. I switched from a g920. I was running a real wheel on it that I swapped over to my t300rs gt and the difference between the 2 is night and day. Why I bought a g920 in the first place is beyond me.
I am unsure where you are located but would you or anyone else know where i could buy replacement clamp and a US standard power cable for the T300RS GT? I got it used for free from a friend who never realized they were missing as they never used it.

Question just bought a t300 pre owned for my ps4 but the wheel center logo is the PlayStation logo not the thrustmaster logo is that something to be concerned about ? Plus it also came with the 3 pedals not the 2 pedals

How do you adjust the traction control and fueling in-game on this Thrustmaster wheel while the race is ongoing in GT7?
Really finding it tough deciding between the G923 and this wheel. It's for casual gaming with my kid - 7 years old - on PS5.

I believe the T300 RS GT is newer. From my research, the difference is the pedals. I'm new and still researching my first steering wheel.

Is this overkill for just trying/practicing to learn to drive a car ? Should I get a wheel without force feedback instead? I was looking at a used G29 in a local store too but reddit comments say the T300 rs gt is a better use of money.
Any wheel will do if you're trying to learn for normal road use.
G29 or T150 pro should be good to start off.

I believe so, it works completely fine on PC and PS5 so I could see this being a good long term option for either platform👍
oh ya you can even use the wheel and pedals and just upgrade the base. ever thrustmaster wheel fit ever thrustmaster base. even the new thrustmaster direct drive whel base fit with an adapter they will start selling

I've checked online retailers such as Amazon UK and Argos and both websites have the bundle available at this current time. Prices have gone up too since the Black Friday sales but keep an eye out for sales on this unit.
Got an RS for $250 and it was absolutely worth it

I'm debating whether to get T tg2 or t300. Not sure which I'll get yet.
I can’t say I’ve ever used the TGT 2 but I can imagine the t300 being a little more underpowered when compared to the newer TGT 2, let me know what you decide in the end 👍

Yes it's a drifting wheel as well. The t248 isn't a wheel for drifting. But t300 is versatile for all applications

@@Skieyt2819 you should try buying both but I like assetto corsa more as it's good for more options and has better physics in general. Carx is great for drift physics only. And yes that setup is not only good for beginners but Many pros still use it

I usually play on pc but I do have the ps5 version, I’ll do a video on my settings for both 😊

@@VelvetGoldminer I have ACC and this wheel for PS5, I play mainly GT7. ACC feedback doesn't feel as clean as GT7 tbh. I imagine PC mods and settings make it better.
