I bought my unit 3 years ago. Before buying, I of course did my research and was met with barrage of negative reviews about overheating and how the logitech option is the better choice and I came across VERY few good reviews about the T300. Regardless of the stigma around the T300 and that it was slightly more expensive than the Logi option, I still opted to buy it because of its feature set and out of the box T3PA pedal set. I hope this post serves as a beacon of light amongst the negativity around this unit - I use it daily and live in an area where summer temps reach over 40c NOT ONCE has my unit ever faded in the FFB department, not a single issue with any hardware and its all just as tight as it was when it came out of the box. Anyone that asks about getting in to SIM racing, I've recommend it 11/10 time and yes, 11 because that is for the next person who is asking about what wheel to get. Logi makes fantastic peripherals, I use their G733 wireless headset, G902 lightspeed mouse and keyboard which I will recommend to anyone BUT Logi is great at everything but not a master. Thrustmaster is a SIM peripheral brand, they know what they are doing and trust their expertise in the field.
As a user of a T300 RS, it's served me well and is a good wheel. It's often on sale closer to the Logitech G29 price and is definitely worth the extra.
I went from a T300 RS to a CSL DD without boost kit, and before I made a DIY power supply I wasn't all that impressed with the CSL DD. This isn't a slur against the Fanatec wheel, it's a testament to how good the T300 was. I didn't see the CSL DD as much of an upgrade until I used the boost kit.
I'd say the same. My TX was easily my preferred of the two. Maybe I'd give the g29 pedals the edge over the stock TX's tho, given they come as a threesome vs two, and the feel is just leauges ahead regardless imo.
I swapped G29 to T300 GT with TCLM. Imho both have their own flaws, but in overall with T300 is slightly better. Also mine G29 got its famous rattling issue, doing enough noise to ensure my neighbours that Im racing. For its price, t300 is still worth, precise and FFB gives strong punch in to hands.

@@omeratif3965 the t300rs is the name of the base that can be bought on its own if you already have a thrustmasters wheel and pedals. The t300rs gt is the grand turismo bundle that comes with a wheel and pedals it’s about double the price of the base on its own.
Used for the last 4 years and was really happy, definitely recommend it if you are looking for a budget wheel
One quick note: consider turning on forced cooling mode (by pressing Mode and Option/Start buttons at the same time). It will be a little bit noisy, but should help with FFB fade and overall longevity of the base
This. I forced cooled from day 1 on mine and still ended up putting a Noctua fan in it as the stock fan went south after a year or so of constant use. I highly recommend the T300 as a great wheel to fall into sim racing with. I've had both the T150 and g29 prior and it's a good deal better than those two IMO.

You, sir, are a true scholar (and apparently a mind reader) - I was just in the process of advising a potential future simracer/first-time wheel owner on possible starting equipment when you dropped this. As I have personally never owned a Thrustmaster unit in all my time in sims, thank you very much for the detailed hands-on experience shared in this video.
I bought a new T300 integral version with the Ferrari Alcantara wheel for 360 euros about a week ago. So far I'm really happy with my purchase and the price was decent enough compared to other options.
Yes. Using it two years now and still happy. Had a spring breaking into 3 pieces of the pedals. Other than that it works great .
Modded the wheel with Acelith wheel.
Never had overheating issues with it.
I am happy with my two; and will only upgrade when and if the T300 base fails eh! I use the Chris H Designs quick release collar instead of the silly set screw :)

Just bought this wheel last week, I don't have much experience with anything else but I am pretty happy with it.
I'm new to sim racing and have just bought the T300RS GT this week, £310 delivered from Amazon. The decision for me was driven by the noise levels as I work nights and keep the same sleep pattern on my nights off so tend to play at night when everyone else is in bed and at this price point the alternatives are all gear driven FFB and much noisier. Also I didn't want to go and spend several hundred pounds on a wheel starting out only to find that sim racing isn't for me.
THe tl;dr is that if you've never had a wheel before you won't be disappointed.
I've tried it on a mix of ACC, Dirt Rally 2.0 and FH5/Dirt 4 on the more casual driving game side of it so far and I'm very happy with it, especially with the rallying - it's a massive improvement over controller. I did try briefly with Wreckfest but that's clearly designed for controller with wheel as an afterthought - don't bother. No doubt as I progress I'll probably want to go to DD but at the moment and also having nothing to compare to it does what I want. Not sure about wanting stronger FFB at the moment because this can already rip the wheel out of your hand. Not tried the conical mod yet, I found the brake pedal just fine as it was, having no issues as a new driver. Maybe I will in the near future...it comes free with the pedals so that's something.
One thing I did find was that in more vigorous FFB moments having it clamped to my desk it would make a bit of a noise when the base moved. The clamping system isn't really that brilliant, especially on a thick desk like mine that's 30mm thick - as you're tightening the clamp you eventually get to a point where the arms of the clamp get in the way of trying to turn the little bar. Someone nearby was selling a Next Level Racing wheel stand for next to nothing so I've bought that, much better.
Great review. Just got the alcantara edition. I'm absolutely loving this wheel but pedals kinda feel cheap. Definitely upgrading them.

I’ve had the T300RS since 2017. In that time its been used around 4-5hours every week. I have never had any problems with the wheel. It has become one of the older wheels in simracing, but if you don’t want to spend a budget of 4 digits on simracing I highly recommend this wheel. For me the belt driven force feedback on this wheelbase also feels better than the force feedback of the G29. Alongside that the alcantara Ferrari wheel add-on is really aestheticly pleasing, but that might just be me😂
Just ordered the Alcantara Ferrari wheel version of it that comes along with 3 petals. Can't wait to compare it with my G29.

I read in some reviews that the T300 overheats and the feedback effect decreases..so for what reason is the more stable G29 a worse product? :)

Т300 хоть и имеет риск перегрева, но эта проблема легко устраняется заменой вентилятора.

I've used a T300RS base with the T500 GT wheel, paddles, and pedals. Best combo on the cheap in my opinion. Round it off with a TH8, and it makes a great sim rig. the T500 was stronger, but the T300 has lasted me four times as long, and I abuse it.
Looking forward to the GT7 Fanatec DD Pro review too.
Upgraded to a T300RS-GT from a T150 on Black Friday, and it's a substantial improvement in smoothness and strength. Yet it feels familiar in a nice way, so I've really enjoyed mine, and hope it will last until I can really splurge on this hobby!
That's the path I went, except I haven't upgraded from the t300 ever since (2019) :O

I went g27, then t300, now on tgt2 with TLCM.
I bought the T300RS GT mostly because my G923 decided to break after half a year. I thought these things were supposed to be long-lasting, but it broke down well within the warranty period. The day before it broke, I was playing Forza Horizon 5, and I was having fun like usual. Mind you, the thing worked fine that day. and FH5 was one of the few games I played where the FFB I got from my G923 was actually good. But then the next day, I hooked it up again, and I already noticed that something was wrong. The wheel wasn't calibrating, and none of my inputs registered at all. Not even the pedal input was working. No matter what I tried, the only thing that somewhat worked were the shifter lights, which just lit up and nothing else.
So I brought it back to the shop, and I was given a piece of paper I could use to get a new copy of the G923, a similar product of similar pricing, or simply to get my money back. I simply gave them the paper, and they gave me my money back, which I used later to buy a T300RS.
Holy moly, that wheel just felt so much better. Very little noise and much nicer, and stronger FFB. The only thing I kinda miss from my G923 is the load cell brake pedal. But for the nicer wheel, I'm happy.
hey this is probably late as ever but the g923 only has a simulated loadcell, and tbh you can get aftermarket mods that make the t3pa pedals waaaay better, chck them out bro
Been using my T300RS GT for years and it still holds up great. Pedals are becoming the weak point, so I'm looking at those Moza ones as a replacement. I definitely reached a point where not having a load cell/resistance is limiting somewhat.
Having that issue with my Logitech. It’s hard to be consistent with my trail braking.
The T300RS is a great wheel & I have had mine for 4 years. Also owned another previous to that before I sold it. The problem now is that they sell either at the same price, or more than before the pandemic which inflated sim racing equipment value. That makes it tricky to recommend personally now as direct drive wheels are becoming more affordable. I have an OSW DD wheel which has advantages over belt driven wheels like stronger force feedback & quicker response of details + reaction of the car driven. The T300RS is still a great wheel, but is selling these days at the wrong price.
Direct drive isn't that much more affordable. Notwithstanding the Moza which isn't compatible with consoles, the price hike from a T300 RS/GT to DD is like $500 CAD! No thanks lol
While I do think the T300 RS/GT should be a tad cheaper, it still outperforms every other newer wheel at that price point, so I think it's the wheel to recommend to the average gamer despite its age.

The thing is, if you are starting and don't know for how long you will be in the hobby, you can find plenty of second hand units for 250 - 290€ (and I am talking of the alcantara ed in its own box and barely no use), and you get decent base, decent wheel and decentish pedals. If you go cheap dd you have to spend 3 times that money.
Got one with 599 alcantara wheel, was upgrading from my trusty g25 I've had for over a decade. After 2 years I've had no issues at all and ffb difference between the two is night and day, though I have to say padals on g25 were better with much stronger spring. Will keep it as long as it lasts and replace it with some dd in some distant future.
I used it relatively extensively on gran turismo sport + gt7 + a bit of iracing, and after one year the springs on the pedals had significantly weakened, the potentiometer on the throttle had bust (so I switched it with the clutch, which then also later bust), and also the engine of wheels went bust. did the standard trouble-shooting and disassembling to check but nothing I could do

Great wheel for advanced players which plays racing games regular but not deep into sim racing. I have the alcatera Ferrari Version for five years now and I am super happy with this.
I actually just bought mine 2 months back to replace an old G29. Got it with the Ferrari 599 wheel and TLCMs and it's a night/day difference from the G29. I do agree with all of the cons mentioned, but for my more casual playing, it'll be more than enough.
i'm still using my t300 rsgt. I replaced the pedals but the wheel base and wheel are still kicking strong! One day i'll upgrade to moza but no need to rush to upgrade as this thing does the job great.
Had my T300 for a good while never had it overheat on me, great little wheelbase and my choice for a great starter wheel, also the 599 Ferrari wheel they did for it is *chefs kiss*
I got this wheel over the holidays and I'm learning lots so I'm happy with it. A couple of complaints are that the fan is LOUD. I am deaf after playing at night in a quiet room. Dual Noctua fan mod happening soon. Also the shifter paddles feel like mushy crap. I'm getting a magnetic mod for it. Lastly I had grounding issues with the pedals. I had to custom ground wire from the wall outlet to the my pedals to fix it.
I paid $550 CAD for this set so it wasn't the cheapest entry level system, but I was annoyed of all the issues I had with it.
Another criticism is that all of the screws holding the wheel together came loose only after two months. Thrustmaster really should have put some threadlocker on them.
YES! And one more important thing- It's extremely easy to mod
"Cogging" is easy to overcome by putting 50$ lab Power Supply (which you can use for everything else)

I got my T300 base used with an exploded front bearing. I rebuilt the bearing, lubed up the screw stop mechanism, and it's been running strong ever since.
In total, I spent $100 on the broken base, $100 on the Ferrari Challenge wheel I put on it, and I already had a T3PA I got from my previous wheel, the TMX Pro. I disagree with the conical brake mod, myself, as it removes too much travel from the brake. Instead, I cut up a stress ball and shoved it behind the pedal, that's given me a great pressure curve on the brake, though depending on the grade of foam in the stress ball your own results may vary if you try. You can also drastically change the FFB characteristics by modifying the tensioning of the two belts inside the FFB mechanism, though going too loose can make it risk skipping teeth, as well as make the movement less precise; the wheel uses a sensor on the motor to detect the wheel position, so that sensor is subject to play and skip in the belt.
Maybe one day I'll have money to waste on a DD wheel, but until then this washed up, moderately modified T300 is going to be the wheel that keeps me going.
I'm in a similar situation with my 10 year old T500RS. Changed the fan to a Noctua, replaced the belt tensioner bearings with metal ones and just about to do a teardown and relubricate the steering column shaft. I'd love to go DD at some point but the T818 really hasn't captured my heart the way I had hoped it would and I don't want to sell off my 5 rims at a big loss to upgrade to another producers eco-system in the present economic climate.
I use the brake mod, just gotta use some muscle ;)
If you press the st button and the mode button at the same time the light should blink twice it forces the fan on 100% in the wheel base and should prevent the loss of ffb due to overheating
I've had it with the Ferrari F599XX Alcantara rim, which is a bit larger than the stock one (30cm vs 28cm), and I'm really happy with it. The only thing I'd improve would be the cooling, because after a while, yeah, the FFB dies down a bit, specially in high downforce cars.
Just upgraded to the T300 RS GT after 6 years with a G29. The different feel of the pedals took some getting used to (much better with the included rubber cone mod, imo) but I'm comfortable with them now. The FFB feels so much smoother and there's more detailed feedback coming through the wheel. I always had a bit of an issue lighting up the rear tyres powering out of sharp turns with the G29, but I feel it's much easier to catch a spin before it happens with the T300. I don't think it's made me any faster, but it's certainly given me more confidence on circuit. The biggest negative for me is the screw that goes into the collar. The screw on collar obviously didn't work as intended and the screw feels like such a cheap and nasty afterthought to solve the issue of the wheel working itself lose. I'd expect something a little more sophisticated when spending a few hundred pounds on something and it's quite disappointing that Thrustmaster haven't come up with a better solution over the years. I do prefer the clamping mechanism and leather wrapped wheel of the G29 too. Would I go back to my G29 after a few days with my T300 though? Definitely not. The G29 has served me well since I decided to take sim racing a bit more seriously and it really is a fantastic budget wheel for anyone wanting to move up from a controller. But I'm very happy with the T300 upgrade.

I'm just thinking about getting one. I'm a big car guy. And I've love cars racing games, you think this one would be good? It would be my first wheel and I'd buy it 2nd hand, so I want to know if it'll be worth, I like drifting so I'm looking for a wheel for pc or ps5.
@@barrioss8860 If you’re chill with only pc gaming which was a deal breaker for me then get the 350-400$ fanatec csl dd bundle. Cheapest direct drive and it’s leagues above belt and gear. Picked up the g29 recently for pc and ps5 and it does the job just fine. Noise isn’t as bad as people say if you know what you’re doing in force feedback settings. Another thing i should add is I don’t think thrustmaster works with playstation, but if you’re gonna do it definitely do the fanatec for basically the same price
Yep, I'm still very happy with the wheel. I'd like to upgrade the pedals to the TLCM set at some point though. That's another bonus with Thrustmaster compared to Logitech too, the potential to upgrade components. I don't know if either of you are from the UK, but a UK retailer has the T300RS GT on sale for £300 at the moment. It's usually around £370.

Went from g27 to t300, great upgrade but in hindsight, I should have just went straight to DD. You can run t300 at 75% and fan “always on”, I never had it overheat. It is stored away as a “backup” if I ever need it. 😊

@@jamesfranko5098 I still think my best upgrade was a sturdy rig and pedals w a load cell brake. (I went with HE Sprints). DD is VERY good but I would do pedals first. T300 will be great if budget is tight. Don’t be pressured to upgrade. 😊

My trusty TX has been serving me well since 2013. It came with the two pedals which I somehow lived with for the longest time until upgrading to the T-LCM's shortly after their release. The "quick release" never really bothered me because again, for the longest time, I never swapped out my wheel and only ever used the stock wheel rim it came with. However I have since upgraded my wheel options with the 599XX Evo and the SF1000 wheel options. I quickly grew tired of the screw, and found an alternative option by purchasing a 3D printed "lock ring" that goes over the collar of the quick connect, and allows me to really tighten down it by hand; while providing enough leverage to loosen it. I have not had to use the set screw since purchasing that lock ring.
As a Canadian, the TX/T300 still has its niche place in the market. While more expensive (T300 RS GT $600 CAD), it is overall a better wheelset than the Logitech G920/G929 ($400 CAD) offerings, though less expensive than direct drive offerings by Moza ($800 CAD) and Fanatec.

@@Manny478Just seeing this now; I got mine from Etsy. Found someone that was selling it from within Canada, but there were a number of options available from other sellers.
The right arrow on my T300's d-pad works about a quarter of the time. Pain in the ass during long races where I'm going between fuel map and radar/etc. I want to get a new rim but don't want to put any more money in this system since it's so dated.
My t300rs gte is still going strong after 6 years.

I have the t300 for about 3 to 4 years now, and its been a champ. It hasn't given me issues or getting weaker. I'm already planning on upgrading to DD since I play mostly on PC. But the fact the t300 is also compatible with ps5 to play gt7 is making me consider the thrust master T-GT instead

I got a t150 Pro for $180, but I would’ve loved to get one of these!
There's a Thrustmaster eco system mod called a Qwik Ring, it allows the wheel release system to be sufficiently tightened so you don't need the screw. I used it with my old TS-PC and the wheel never loosened, without the screw it's pretty good as a QR solution with noticeably less wheel wobble than you get with Fanatec's QR1. I wouldn't recommend the TX wheelbase, they have a habit of dying. The T300 or TS-PC are the only belt drive wheels I've really enjoyed using, and would definitely recommend either (especially the latter if you can pick up a used one for a decent price) if you can stretch to the CSL DD tho', that's a whole different ball game, arguably the best ffb that Fanatec has to offer.
Is this a good option as a first wheel if I can afford it? Or lower entry models like the G29/920 are recommended?
I liked that the feedback seems to be much better and stronger on the T300, as well as being quieter.

I wanted to get into casual sim racing so I bought the T300 RS because I didn't want to break the bank. It has served me well and I am pleased with my purchase. I also bought a 3rd party quick release so I don't have to use the stupid screw. The unit was a bundle that came with the pedals. I also bought a third party load cell for the break pedal. All in all, I am pleased with my setup although I do feel the wheel base should be cheaper since it is so dated at this point.

I recently upgraded to a Moza R5 from a T300rs and can honestly say that i much prefer the T300 !!
The R5 is notchy around the centre, oscillates a lot regardless of settings and it just feels horrible in a few sim titles again regardless of settings.
FINALLY AN HONEST COMMENT.... THERE'S TOO MUCH HYPE WITH MOZA. MOZA FAN BOYS, WHEN IN REALITY T300 FEELS AS GOOD IF NOT BETTER THAN MOZA PEICES.

@@martinberg3970 Not the original commenter but I feel the same. Had a t300 upgraded to r5. t300 felt more like plug and play and everything felt natural. R5 had to play with settings used ones from youtube and forums and still felt something was not right and felt inconsistent. After 2 months of R5 with Dirt Rally 2 ,ACC, rfactor 2, F1 games The only advatage is the instant feels of loss of traction being able to save spins, everything else t300 felt better. Also t300 isnt too bad when it comes to traction loss to so theres that
Beginner wheels are great for dipping your toes in the water to see if you enjoy sim racing. Though if you already know you do, something like a csl dd and load cell pedals are definitely worth it. Better immersion and will help to be more consistent
The t300 isn't a beginner wheel. It's very good. Something like the t80 or t150 is a beginner wheel. Significantly worse than the t300.
Here are my thoughts after upgrading from T150 to T300 with 2 pedal set.The difference in ffb is night and day,twice the power and detail.Much quieter and smoother as it's belt, not gear driven.You can force the fan to be permanently on,to stop any ffb fade form occurring,i did the same on T150,just Google it.The one down side is the stupid screw on the quick release.So you don't potentially damage any new wheel you should buy a quick release 3d printed plastic sleeve mod that fits over the quick release,which you can easily tighten extremely tight,and throw away that damn screw.My advice to anyone upgrading or buying this as their first wheel is this is the best wheel at this cost level.If you can get it in a deal it's hands down winner.I'm hoping to upgrade to the T-lcm pedals at some point,as the two pedal set is useable but not great.

I upgraded to this from a Logitech G29 and it's been awesome. Yeah it's not the latest and greatest, but I'm a casual.
What would you say is the best entry level wheel? I'm considering buying a two owner t300rs gt for 295$ but I'm concerned about the overheating many people report when running it on high ffb. Any suggestions?

8:11 I don't understand the phrase "...or just connect it directly to your pedal arm and then you have the full force of the conical brake mod". What does he refer to? As far as I know the conical mod can only be attached in one place (the chassis of the pedals base, not the pedal arm)
I bought ine in 2020 upgrading from a G29... was very much worth it!
But DD is the way to go
Hi , for someone trying to get into sim racing, does the newton meter really matter? Since the t300 rs only give around 4Nm of force feedback, and the next one that gives 10Nm cost way too much for me , and i’m afraid its gonna be too much for me if i take the 10Nm, dont think i’ll be switching anytime soon after the 1st sim wheel purchase tho
I spent around 700h in F1 game series, 200h in ETS 2, 250h in Dirt Rally 2.0 and 150h in Automobilista 2, and in all of those games this wheel worked excellent! I still use mine, and after all these hours T300 still works perfectly fine. The only disadvantage is a "quick release" system. It is just not practical and it hurts viability of SF1000 wheel (which I use rarely because of that).

I am using a T300 for about a year now. The hardware never failed and it works very well in AC, AMS2, R3E, Dirt Rally 2 and BeamNG. The main Problem imho is that you have to test and tweak alot when it comes to the right settings for the different games/sims. It took me quite some time to get AC and AMS2 to where i like it. The FFB feel i get in AMS2 now is the best of all the sims (with custom ffb settings). AC, R3E and Dirt Rally 2 are also quite good. But to everyone who considers this wheel to play ACC, forget it. Directly buy a good DD wheel, with a T300 its actually impossible ACC to feel good ... and i tried everything. Boost Mode for the T300 will help a little bit with ACC but the problem is that even with fan forced on mode the wheel will overheat very fast and you will loose the ffb power after few minutes.
When I made the switch from my old Logitech wheels to the T300RS GT I have now over a year ago (with the T-LCM pedals), I treated it like an upgrade. The steering feel has helped me make massive gains in my sim racing, so if I were to do it again, not saying the Logitech (I had a g29 and a g923) isn’t a good wheel, but I found that when you try to get to the next level you outgrow it quickly. At this stage a DD wheel is definitely in my future, but the t300 doesn’t make me feel like I have to rush to it.

Logitech, Fantech, they do good wheels now too, under $1k is not a real option, you need PRO use, or kids play ?
@@lucasRem-ku6eb I bought the wheel as a step up from my old G29 since I was outgrowing it (started joining leagues and getting faster) and didn’t have much to play with. My next wheel will be a DD but in terms of my driving development it’s been pretty helpful so far

I could never find any GP 2 Thrustmaster levels of goodness here, used too many wheels, less than $1k now ? 300 max is still G29 levels of plastic, but i do Pro use is, needing it on the track.
After a month of real weekend play 24/7 of Leman style, i feel the cheap gears, any $300 wheel did that.
Outgrown it, i was a very small kid in 1995, when i got the PG2 Thrustmaster wheel, never found any better ....

Hi, I recently purchased my PS 5 and I love Formula One, so is the three watch as a first wheel racing sim. For f1
the t300 rs gt is a great wheel to start with. my biggest issue with it is the table clamp. if you have to move it after using it, because you have no rig, then the plastic screw-hole is becoming a pain in the ass over time. I cannot get it to sit tightly in place and it slides left and right when under stress.
i cannot wait to upgrade to a DD base.
i started a year ago and don't wanna use the thrustmaster longer than nessessary.
its also very loud. the motor is loud and it makes this weird Max-input thing ever time you connect it to the pc... I just hate it. it does the job for a beginner, but i regret buying it and not saving a bit longer for a DD. well, I didn't even know DD existed when I bought it 😅
Where I live, this wheel is still so expensive (not any discount on it) that I got the G29 for less than half of a T300 RS GT
I went from T300 RS to a T150 because my T3 died, and all I could currently afford is a T150 due to [insert life circumstance] so I it would be a great comparison especially as the T300 is currently fresh in your mind.
Personally I feel like the T150 is more vague, in GT7 at least... then again I never got the chance to use T300RS in GT7 as it died during GTSport lifecycle, so I'm not sure if it's the T150 itself feeling vague or if it's GT7 feeling vague...
Is the wheel itself removable? I read somewhere that i could use the same base and pedals for PC, Xbox, and PS5 and just swap wheel itself from PS to Xbox

Bought my T300RS just under 2 years ago, I sometimes get a squeak in the first few degrees of rotation during long sessions (and the resistance feels... weird), though it usually gets sorted if I leave it until the next session.
I bought mine locally so I could exchange if it I had reliability problems, I highly recommend others do the same. Other than that issue, it's been a massive upgrade from my DFGT and I love using it.

I am between this and a DD bundle solution (not for cage). The problem is that I want it for both PC and PS4 , be able to put it at table and not to make noise like 923. Unfortunately, the cheapest I have found is Fanatec gran turismo gg pro but it costs 600+ euro :(
Had a T500 for eight years total. After many hours of play and three successful DIY repairs (PSU, some blown caps and one thing I forgot) a good deal for a used Accuforce direct drive wheel base came up. The T300 has more detailed, but a bit lighter FFB than my T500 had - feels good in basically any sim.
I was surprised how close the T500 is to the feel of the Accuforce if you ignore the difference in strength. Yes, the (stepper motor) direct drive Accuforce has more detail and less friction, but they are not worlds apart. If you want to keep yours for a long time, cehck out the recommendation from @Mati in another comment below this video.
I have the TX and I like it. But I think if it was today I would save a bit more and buy a CSL DD. Much better upgrade path
I got a used regular t300rs with the 2 pedals, on ebay the other day for $300 to play gt7, hoping it not to worn and works alright, if It's good I'm getting new pedals

I got a t300rs for free from my brother, but the person he bought it from didn't have the power cable. I can't find one in the US standard. I don't know where or what to do about this issue.. any ideas?

I play with the T300 RS for 6 month now and it is a great wheel.
Sim racing is really REALLY EXPENSIVE and it's good enough to enjoy.
As this model is launched in 2016, its now 2023 will thrustmaster launch new version soon? Im afraid of getting this one and soon enough they release a new model.

Used the t300rs for a couple of years to start out my sim racing and it was the perfect start. FFB was awesome, it was smooth, and just overall a decent price. Issues I had been the wheel screws, one would get loose and had to keep tightening it. And the other issue was the plug just eventually died on me and got loose so be careful on plugging it in and out.
Got a fanatec afterwards. Got a better experience of course cuz of the increased price point but the t300 is great but always expect some issues you can come across, especially if you use it for so long.
Fanatec endorsed Williams esports cheating at Daytona after it was known.

started sim racing for 6 months now only played ACC I'm doing almost 1.5s away from alien times started at t300rs gt after 4 months i ordered the csl elite v2 pedals
and i still know some very good lfm guys still uses t300
never experienced any ffb loss im also at 75% in wheel settings and 84%gain ingame ACC on porsche
Im considering to upgrade maybe to the alpha mini thou im afraid my stints will be a lot more tiring
i play on t150 with tlcm pedals and im like 2,6k on lfm so even on shitty wheel u can be competetiv :D
Sold my G29 and got the T300RS GT and it's by far a much better wheel set (and got it new for just 250 ish euros, which was a super deal). Loved my G29 but I wanted something with more punch to it, and the fact that you can change wheels is awesome, even though that "Quick Release" is so dated and basically will damage over time the wheels you put on there, Thrustmaster really needs to revamp that system, it just doesn't look good. I just use it without screwing the wheel in so I just find myself tightening it a few times. But overall it's a super wheel set.
It`s a really good wheel, but the 2 pedal set is meh. You can get these quick release slip on "rings" from etsy/ebay that can do a better job at securing the rims than the screw. The only negative I can think of with this wheelbase is the strong electronic smell.
Love the T300. Mods are plenty and spare parts are available.
Also add the love and hate relationship with the TM ecosystem haha
