Okay, so I wandered into this video and I had NO IDEA this wasn’t real life racing. I just kept wondering how the bloody hell this guy could have managed to borrow Verstappen’s RB16B.
It took me a while to notice too but I though some of the overtakes were too dangerous for a normal person. Then I saw the signs and the best lap on the steering wheel so I then knew haha
Thats funny! I just did the same thing, except about halfway through his lineup of cars I started thinking "this looks too familiar." It was then that I recognized my favorite driving game Gran Turismo. The only place you will ever find all of those cars in the same place. The paint scheme on the Toyota Celica was what gave it away. It is the G.T. symbol
Anyone who genuinely thought this was real life for any amount of time needs to look away from your screen, go outside and look around every once in a while.
Fr especially to dudes that are f1 fans. Like they really thought even for a couple mins that some dude managed to not only borrow verstappens car but full on race it?
This comment doesn’t make any sense. People that spend less time watching videos are more likely to this is real because they have less perspective on what is real and what is artificially generated. For example, when I’m playing fifa, my parents always think I’m watching a game in real life. This is because they don’t have much perspective when it comes to gaming graphics as opposed to live video.
I accidentally ran into this video and I am glad I did. Road America has always been one of my favorite courses. I am more into F1 now than other racing but I appreciate your video immensely. Thanks for posting it.

The reason F1 hasn't gotten significantly faster over the last few decades is, the limitation is the human body, which hasn't gotten the same upgrades as racing technology has. As for the modern hypercar... it, too, is hampered by the limitations of the drivers, and what they can endure for 24 hrs.

I was honestly shocked by how good the editing was on this I was thinking the entire time it is so professional his production crew must be amazing then I realize it's not real. It is insane to see how realistic this looks versus playing a game say on a PlayStation 2 or Microsoft Xbox 360. I honestly thought somehow this guy managed to get together all these legendary cars like he had some sort of influence in the car community where he could get all these cars together. Until I realized it wasn't real I was wondering why this guy could possibly want to shut down such a very well produced channel. LOL I was thinking he has everything going for him and amazing channel great video editing fantastic content why would he want to stop now I get it.
Now, imagine if they'd have taken those onboard camera's, given them a little bit of resonant vibrations at certain rev's/speeds and done a sort of "dirt" pass for the graphics. :)
I have to thank you for everything that you've done Ermin. I discovered sim racing and the league that I now run because of you. Thank you for taking your time to promote such a small and niche league. I would never have thought that a TH-camr would promote a league for physically disabled people until you did it, so thank you. I don't think I'd still be racing, nor purchasing my first rig soon if I hadn't seen that post. All the best for the future.
Top Fuel Dragster was missing. That thing would lead the race all the way to the first corner. After which it would continue into the fence, and further, over the audience, and even further, to the main parking lot, destroying the parked cars. But despite those few incidents, the driver, if he survived (which he didn't) would be able to brag that he lead the race for a few seconds.
Well, I just found this channel and honestly I enjoyed every second of this video. The editing is fantastic even the filter on the voice to make it seem like radio comms on the cockpit cams. Good luck for the future I will go back and watch the other videos you have made. Thank you ❤️

Hope you get a IRL commentating gig you are perfect for that! Good luck with your future endeavors and as they say, God speed!
I knew you are gonna finnish with AC. You made a full circle in simracing. Started on AC to get you hooked, then RF2 phase with the best tyre model hype but nothing more, then an overhyped up new shiny Sim that is not measuring up ams2, then a little brother that has promise, but it's not the OG, and finishing up on the OG, the best racing Sim ever made with AC. We all went on this journey and ended up in the same place, home. :)
You'll do great at whether you pursue in Ermin, we are sure of that, cause you've already proved it with this channel and with being at the heart of the simracing community. You are always welcome to come back whenever.
"the pace of f1 hasn't improved all that much in 17 years" Let's take spa as it is what you showed in the clip, 2005 cus it rained in 2004 and last year as this year it was also wet. 2004 pole time - 1:46.391 2020 pole time - 1:41.252 I mean c'mon... That said, all the best for you. It was a pretty crazy ride on the youtube world.

That's sad :(. You are one of my favorite SimRacers because you don't do the same old same old :)! You had an interessting approche to it and add lots of variation to the scene. And the best part is that you don't take it to seriously, while at the same time you nonetheless really sim race :D. But of corse, that's all just a game, and if you have to tackle more serious stuff in live I wish you all the best!
I just today realized you were the lad with the Systematic Mixing Guide and I just want to say thank you so so much. Thank you for that and this channel, good luck to you. Cheers!
Best of luck Ermz. Great channel. Great it's run by an Aussie. My wife often says "I don't understand why you watch TH-cams of people playing computer games?". We all know the answer. I was LITERALLY half way through this video before I realized it wasn't real! 😮 And I remember when my parents played Mario Bros and couldn't make the very first jump and fell in the hole. They couldn't stop laughing 😂

I just buried the last of the 3 men that made me the man I am today. It just now struck me. All my roll model's are dead and buried. I guess I next to dance with the reaper. FML
its so sad to see this channel be retired, from "Is dirt rally 2.0 worth your money" to this video its been incredible to watch the production quality increase and an incredible journey to watch, best of luck to you in future adventures.
Ermin, have you tried using the Assetto Corsa car tuner? I think you may like this combo, put a Moby Dick 935 engine in the Porsche 911 RSR. I think you may like it, I tested it around Nords, and its amazing.👍 Good luck in your future endeavours.
I fell into this and thought I'd let it run a bit... Funny. The author talks as if he's actually driving - like he's doing something... real. I'll bet the wind in your face (from the computer fan?) really adds to the realism. I've never driven a video game to 360 kph but I have taken a few real vehicles to 200 kph and more - - but - they were real!
The real questions are unanswered though - how much is a hotdog at that track, and their onions gm or organic. The gm one's caramelise better, but the organic retain the chunkuness you want for a hotdog topper.
damn if only there's a "one lap magic" script for Assetto Corsa, or at least a scenario maker, that would've been dope af. godspeed on your upcoming projects, Ermz!
As an American who loves F1. I would love to see a race consisting of F1, F2, F3, Nascar, and Indy cars. With Indy and Nascar being the the big 2 types of car racing here in the states. I would love to see how they fare compared to the top 3 levels of formula racing.
Yeah... F1 cars are that fantastic, the power to weight ratio is amazing, almost 1:1, the aerodynamics is superb, they can make the car stick almost as if it was on rails, 900BHP is no joke at all, the suspension can handle pretty much anything... But on paper, they are not pushing the boundaries, as other cars like Koeniggsegs, LMP1s and Bugattis do... What they do on reality is to get EVERYTHING that pushed the boundaries and throw at a single seater car. This, this is the pinaccle of motorsport. Putting everything bleeding edge together and make a car that is able to bash anything out there.
Man, I really hope things get better for you guys in Australia. I sincerely mean that, what your leaders are doing to their people is beyond reprehensible and I fear it's nothing more than a test bed for the rest of the West , but if any group can eventually wind up back on top it's the people of Australia. Now, imagine if they'd have taken those onboard camera's, given them a little bit of resonant vibrations at certain rev's/speeds and done a sort of "dirt" pass for the graphics. :)
th-cam.com/video/8zNhbH6MXfc/w-d-xo.html
Imagine the budget required for the support crews, filming crews, track time, etc. No amount of TH-cam viewing would pay for that.
At 7:33 I was pushing down on the rug very hard , with my imaginary brakes.
( Glad that I did not come away with cramps) 😳
I am not a gamer.
The "Algorithm dropped me off here.
This is an amazing thing to read.
Thanks Ermin for great station. Well driven for 7 laps in the F1. Hope to catch up. The moldy fiat did 2 half laps, not bad.
A real treat, being a terrified "co-driver "in the Honda formula one car! Couldn't stomach the real thing if ever..
F1 drivers are conditioned to handle driving it hard. A normal person would either black out or puke, we couldn't handle it.
Appreciation moment for how indecently fast that P1 is in a straight line
To be fair he did get a bad exit onto the straight, the f1 car would have been much faster but the p1 did have great straight line speed
0:13 I thought this was real
Well, I just found this channel and honestly I enjoyed every second of this video. The editing is fantastic even the filter on the voice to make it seem like radio comms on the cockpit cams. Good luck for the future I will go back and watch the other videos you have made. Thank you ❤️
Me too
Great viewing 😅
Of course i find your channel after you've shut the doors. At least I've got a back catalogue to work through. Great stuff dude.
I love F1. Sunday morning, light rain outside, 55*, slug a few beers until wife volunteers for ?? Anything to demand i have couldnt relax for more than 5 min.
Damn! First time I've ever seen your channel and it's the last video! I'm not a car guy or know anything about any races but this was very fun to watch! I'll be checking out older videos for sure! Hope you get a IRL commentating gig you are perfect for that! Good luck with your future endeavors and as they say, God speed!
Thanks for all the great content Ermin, I'm gonna miss the fresh stuff. Looking forward to your return and wish you all the best.
I hate driving in AC. I only do it for content creation.
This ridge racer 4 music is so nostalgic. What a fitting choice for such a great video.
Also the PS1 NFS.
7:30 good move, amazing!.
Good luck in the future ermz
Absolutely love the videos
You'll do great at whether you pursue in Ermin, we are sure of that, cause you've already proved it with this channel and with being at the heart of the simracing community. You are always welcome to come back whenever.
Take care man. Thanks for all of the hard work you’ve put in to give us this content. Hope to see you back in future, good luck with everything!
"the pace of f1 hasn't improved all that much in 17 years"
Let's take spa as it is what you showed in the clip, 2005 cus it rained in 2004 and last year as this year it was also wet.
2004 pole time - 1:46.391
2020 pole time - 1:41.252
I mean c'mon...
That said, all the best for you. It was a pretty crazy ride on the youtube world.
Qualy pace, yes, but I believe the race pace is a lot closer (disregarding the longer pitstops due to refueling)
Fastest Track Monza Italy still has its record set by F2004 Ferrari.
So I am sure if those v10s had the slicks, aero and drs, they will smoke every other F1 cars that came after them
@@arcsephiroth so what you're saying is if they were the 2020 cars they would be fast. Ok
@@PPedroFernandes no what I am saying is the artificial gimmicks give the current cars the extra speed. DRS (0.5~1s), Slick Tyres (2s), Current Aero (massive wings, winglets, diffusers easily 5s).
Just the slick tyres alone will make the old V10 era F1 faster than current
12:03 - That was dangerous 😳
I honestly just subscribed last night because I was looking to fix some oversteering problems. I can't get over how well of a speaker you are. You're very articulate, witty and intelligent. You also have that accent...yes the accent that I have without a doubt faith that you really need to exploit all those attributes I listed in America. They will eat it up. Trust me my friend. You will do great things and you will be a household name on say...Like ESPN. Trust/Faith
So sad to see you go Ermin, you have provided countless hours of entertainment to this humble viewer for which I am very grateful, hope to see you in the future some time.
Cheers.
Well Ermin, thanks for all great content and knowledge. I hope you can dedicate more time on your Mastering career and Software Development for us musicians. I bought your Book a while back and bought SubMission Audios Flatline and DjinnBass as well. You're Book is a must have and my mixing knowledge has grown substantially. The software has also been a staple for all my projects. I look forward to more from you and your Team and hopefully will see you back in the Sim Racing Sphere. Best of luck, Brother.
Classic max verstapen boy move
I'm not into racing much but I have always been in awe of the Formula 1 cars. Insane engineering. Cool video.
Very expensive sport as well!
It's the professional quality, great subject matter, honest opinion.
I have a vague hope that you're just on sabbatical waiting for Beam to be what ProjectCars3/4/5/6 should have been.
The sense of speed in this game looks phenomenal.
I was LITERALLY half way through this video before I realized it wasn't real! 😮 And I remember when my parents played Mario Bros and couldn't make the very first jump and fell in the hole. They couldn't stop laughing 😂
Figures I find a dead channel, the day I buried my uncle Terry, that shared a passion for pc's and all things fast. The sad thing is he was only 53, cancer killed him in 3 months from detection. I just buried the last of the 3 men that made me the man I am today. It just now struck me. All my roll model's are dead and buried. I guess I next to dance with the reaper. FML
Or, carry on and be for others what they were for you.
My condolences.
its so sad to see this channel be retired, from "Is dirt rally 2.0 worth your money" to this video its been incredible to watch the production quality increase and an incredible journey to watch, best of luck to you in future adventures.
You single-handedly got me into sim racing. I love your content. I’ll be really sad to see you go. Take care man! Hope you’ll be back someday.
The food at Road America is outstanding. Get a Brat there, not a dog.
damn if only there's a "one lap magic" script for Assetto Corsa, or at least a scenario maker, that would've been dope af.
godspeed on your upcoming projects, Ermz!
Would have loved to see a Moto GP or World Superbike in the mix.
Also, showing the whole race from the perspective of the Abarth would be interesting.
Bikes have no downforce, way to slow around corners.
It's very odd how many times you said "boy", in this video.
Love that you finished "all the positives in sim racing" with some PC3 footage. Best of luck in your future exploits!
3:56 You ain't lapping anybody on the first lap that's not possible lmao 😂
Man, I really hope things get better for you guys in Australia. I sincerely mean that, what your leaders are doing to their people is beyond reprehensible and I fear it's nothing more than a test bed for the rest of the West , but if any group can eventually wind up back on top it's the people of Australia. Don't take shit from any cunts, and stay strong. Sorry to see you go.
I'm from Victoria, is there a problem in Australia?
@@MRaudiodude The never ending lockdowns and the overly authoritarian and oppressive stance most of the governments in Australia have taken in response to Covid.
@@BurtSampson we are waiting for people like Ermin to stop whinging and get vaccinated. If you've lost your job here, Gov gives at least $800 a fortnight. If you own a business you can get up to $10000 a week. Land Lords not allowed to evict, utility companies not allowed to cut you off. Our stupid federal Govt too slow with Vax that's the only problem. Australia has population of 25 million, 1 in 25000 dead. USA population 328 million, 1 in 400 dead! Don't need to feel sorry for Australians! Peace✌️
@@MRaudiodude I would advise you not to wait. We have been threatened enough, and the more threats our way, the more disgusted we get. You will NEVER vaccinate everyone. Vaccination is for your own safety, and your life alone. NOBODY ELSE
@@fufu1128 maybe I'm not as selfish as some?? But we're not gonna wait much longer. I'll be working, clubbing, fishing, and holidaying in a week's time while unvaccinated still complaining. I won't care so much then. You're right
This was awesome! Great video!
What a great video for a great sim racing channel. Thank you Ermin! Hvala do neba!
Will miss this channel love how you used ridge racer type 4 music in the background. My favorite sound tracks of any racing game. Really nostalgic. Take care.
Definitely an era in time I miss a lot.
The enjoyment of watching this would be dramatically increased by the omission of one word and it isn't girl.
Really sad to see this video to be honest, you really became one of the best in the business in such a short time. But anyway, I really wish you best of luck in whatever challenge you come across and maybe, if you feel that way, you will post a video from time to time
As someone who has been to Road America 1 or 2 times a season since 1983 I can say that the track render is fantastic!
Great video. Only bad thing was how annoying it was that every car was called boy, making it sound like some teenager was narrating. Just call them by their real names instead of old-timie boy or drifty boy.
If anything this video shows how terrible the AI are 😂 The fact that GTE are only about 5 seconds up the road from the GT3, when they are 3 seconds a lap faster, is kinda comical
love the pov mic audio sound, felt like the driver was listening to a live podcast to his laps. Godspeed, Ermin!
So sad that you end the channel. Always enjoyed your videos and your opinions on the physics/tire models of various Sims.
I imagine the aerodynamic wake from that RB16 flying by should have sent the old timey boy airborne, or at least severely upset its balance. :)
Late to the party I know, but instant click when I saw the front straight bridge of Road America in the thumbnail! Got me pumped as a Wisconsinite race fan! Great track and amazing for spectators. Glad to see RA get some love
I am going to admit something a little embarrassing. It’s been a while since I have watched racing and I thought this was 100% real. A few times I thought he was just really ballzy in the corners and passing. Until the donut at the end…. I kept thinking man he was very good off road but okay, then the donut. Just found this channel so I have some catching up to do.
Embarrassing is when you spent whole night and lot of money talking to really good looking woman in the bar, geting horny and than your good frend comes in with open jaw, wide big eyes and ask you:now you fall for tranvestites?Your case can rest,my friend..
@@pitchwisepitchkers4612 LOL!! You are right that is worse by far :). At least you didn't find out another way...
WOW! This really puts into perspective how incredibly crazy fast a modern Formula 1 car truly is.
Yes! But keep in mind this isn’t the fastest F1 car ever made
@@aaron-damonkassner4715 not straight line speed but on a track, no car is beating it, they could make it much quicker but i think the FIA doesn’t allow it
@@wil942 yeah I know but I’m saying on a flat out line Indy car wins but across corners and turns F1 is the best for it!
@@wil942 I was talking about the W11 and RB was never the fastest car unless it was Max.
The sad thing is; It wasn't real.
Was just going to say that lol..good graphics though lol
Damn this is different content🔥🔥🔥🔥
First time on this channel. I'm not gonna lie... one of the main reasons why I stuck around was the Ridge racer 4 song from the beginning. Made the whole experience that much more fun.
Best of luck, Ermin! I always loved your content- we'll still remember you!
Why Farewell video? Are you quitting TH-cam?
Yep, check his community tab
Sad 😭😭😭😭
yeah
will you be back in 25 years like Steve from Blues clues and tell us you still love us?
Just imagine how incredible boring it must be for Max Verstappen to do a trip to the beach in a regular car.
Jesus he came up so fast on the mini the 2nd time that I thought he was gonna smash right into him. This is amazing.
This is a kid playing video games not a real video, 🤦♀️
Video starts at 2:50 too much talking lol
Enough with the “boy” at the end of every car name… shut up
Good video.
Btw I love the last BGM!!
R4 is one of my most favorite racing games!
7:28 How the hell did you get that through there in one piece...Damn the braking and acceleration on this thing is mind blowing ...
