I also put sodium free peanuts on my Asian foods to increase the protein. Regular frozen peas add a little protein and color for almost no work.
I also love that you're not afraid to use brown rice to make it healthier. My Korean friend always used to yell at me (jokingly... okay well half) when I'd put her mom's doenjang jjigae on brown rice. lol
I make the Chick'n soup very similarly. I use miso for salty funk, vital wheat gluten for the chick'n and almond milk for a little creaminess. Soup is my love language.
The 'chicken' noodle soup is amazing! I have made it heaps of times now! Just made the fried rice tonight exept with some fresh veg. The seasoning for hee tofu scrambled egg is a game changer! Wow! So good! Thank you so much!

I would think it only "tastes like chicken" if you were used to putting it on chicken before you went vegan. I add "chicken seasoning" to bean/lentil stews and it doesn't remind me of animal products

Rose helps me learn more healthy ideas that taste good and my whole family will enjoy!!!...... And Rose helps me see that I can just get cooking and try things out because that's what it seems like she's doing!
I am trying to reduce my meat intake, and change it with tofu mushrooms, etc. So here I am. But 'Mexican' veggie soup is a recipe I have always loved!🤤 You reminded me so I may do some this week💃🏽
Great video Rose and excellent vegan high protein recipes. I never count calories but it would be less since I eat oil free and life is too short to spend it counting calories.
What a positive thing to say! One of the things I like about Rose is she talked about losing weight without being negative about her appearance before she lost weight.

Made the soup today, was a bit dubious of the dried soy but it was delicious 😋 I think next time I will add chilli as it definitely needed a kick to it, so sricha did the job.
Yes... as an Italian I roll my eyes when someone says Zucchini Pasta... I feel ya with the cauliflower rice too... there is no way to make a proper risotto with cauliflower!!!! Don't get me wrong they have their places but not as a replacement!

Recipes look deeeeelicious! To lower fat eliminate the oil (it will still blacken and get crispy without the oil). If you don't like soy curls, substitute lentils in your soup for protein.
Love this. I subscribed. How are you measuring calories protein, carbs etc. I have a Fitbit and I put in chick peas the calories are insanely high. I was shocked as I eat lots of chickpeas..Am in italy. No tofu curls here. Vegan substitutes here are pretty dismal.

For the soup, try making it using poultry seasoning instead of italial seasoning (it's just herbs)- it makes everything taste like chicken, lol.

I love soy curls. I use them for Buffalo chicken wraps, or spiced with lemongrass and ginger for my Bánh mi and for tacos. They are so versatile.

When I make 'fried' rice I like to use a 50/50 mixture of rice and riced cauliflower. It's a nice compromise.
