I’ve been a vegan for 4 years now and since day 1 I found your channel and has really helped a lot especially when I’m asian as well! Your channel inspired me to create my own versions of what is convenient and made it simple and easy like your recipes!!! Thank you so much for all the inspiration and believe me, you’ve helped a LOT of vegan beginners! 💚
My FAVORITE thing about your recipe videos is how you pull from pantry basics and tell us we can use fresh, like with the lemon juice. Instead of pulling out a fresh lemon and saying we could use bottled....like...I'm gonna use bottled lemon juice, but I don't want to feel like my meal isn't as good or "fancy" cuz I couldn't spring for for $2 lemon. It's a small thing, but it makes your recipes feel so much more approachable ❤❤❤
I keep roasted unsalted pumpkin seeds, sunflower seeds and peanuts. You can easily add them to things like salads and smoothie bowls to give you a little more protein and healthy fat so you won't get hungry right away.
Everything looks delicious. I just made a pasta salad this morning and I have to have it well seasoned. 🤩I added garlic powder, onion powder, and dill seasoning.
Ohmygush, Thank you soooo much Rose! I just now subscribed after watching the Tofu video, and this is the start of a much more serious Vegan eating routine. I haven't found such an entertaining and natural influencer/teacher/TH-camr until you came along! Cheers 😊
I turned this video on right after I made my breakfast of yogurt, chocolate protein powder, chocolate granola, and raspberries 😂 had to do a double take at the first recipe and my breakfast
@@annikatribby5717 yes but they are packaged with all your vitmains for the day in 100% compostable packaging. lets say you take 3 different vitamins and give the benefit of the doubt it came in a glass bottle. the lid is more than likely plastic with the same months supply in 3 different bottles. its still not the solution but its a start ♡
@@CheapLazyVegan actually, its part of a recipe from my great grandmother. It was in her great depression cookbook she made using index cards. It's been in my family for 3 generations. We use peppers, red onions, mushrooms, any type of noodle, mustard, vegan mayonnaise, garlic and a dash of pepper. I started using onion soup mix as the base and add everything to that. So yummy and hearty!
Lol, I say that "fancy" too when I'm cooking basic stuff in my show, you are definitely more fancy than me! 😁 Great ideas, I'll definitely try out that pasta!
Haha nah I don't usually worry about that cause I don't think I've ever had that problem! Mainly cause I like to have plenty of carbs also with my meal and I think it balances ❤️
unless your drinking an excessive amount of protein shakes or you have a medical condition that requires you watch your protein you dont really have to worry about getting too much you will just pee it out if your body cant use it
Great lazy vegan recipes from beautiful and lovely Rose@ Cheap Lazy Vegan for those who can't cook (that doesn't apply to me). Is there a alternative to using vegan protein powder because vegan protein powder can be expensive.
Wouldn't it be easier to crisp the tortillas before you make the taco? Going to have to try the tacos the only thing I'm missing is the shells and an avocado.
I can cook! I can cook! Still, I loved the video because you are just amazing Rose ;D I am all for SUPER quick but delicious and filling meals! Perfect for the exam session when no matter what, you're always short on time ;P Some of these ideas I have already tried (protein chocolate yoghurt is the bomb) but I actually got some extra inspiration too! . As always, lots of love! Stay safe and have a great rest of the week!
Before I went vegan I was vegetarian and lived on pasta and carbs and nobody said anything. Now I eat so much more protein but it’s always “where do you get protein” 🤦🏻♀️ lol
Not on Team Cilantro. Tastes like soap to me. Lol I can’t use a frying pan to save my life so I would make a taco themed grain bowl. I like to put the taco seasoning in with the rice while it cooks to make it super flavourful.
When you are rinsing your hot pasta fresh from boiling, why not just strain it and leave it really hot THEN add the frozen vegg to the hot pasta and mix? The heat from the hot hot pasta will cook the frozen veg, while the frozen veg will cool pasta. Even lazier way?
i cant eat anything with cilantro in it because it completely ruins the flavor for me. i have that thing where cilantro tastes horrible. it really sucks cause as a lazy vegan sometimes i like to buy frozen or easy to heat up meals, but if it has cilantro in it i cant eat it at all. ugh. really wish i didnt have this issue with cilantro. i have a pet bunny and she loves the stuff, i have to wash my hands after cause even the smell makes me sick like i can taste it,, ugh
Hey I luv your channel But recently I can't watch it anymore because I'm gluten free and it seems all your recipes are glutenous. Also I have a gut feeling soy isn't as healthy as some say, I might have underlying thyroid issues too.
@@Joniness yes but like I said, I suspect I have thyroid issues. I've notice when I eat soy, my body doesn't love it. It could just be all in my head. But if any woman has thyroid issues, I hear soy is not good for you
@@donnaq5439 Soy is a very common allergy. Edamame is also a high fodmap food like just about any other bean which can irritate sensitive guts. Luckily, tofu is a lot lower in fodmaps
@@donnaq5439 i think it’s probably unique for the person just like any other food. The only real way to check for food sensitivities (not allergies) is elimination diets with reintroduction of foods, so if you feel like soy makes you feel bad trust your gut and listen to your body. I love soy and it doesn’t have a negative affect on me but I know a lot of other people can’t have it.
Sorry to hear that! All of these can be made gluten free with some tweaks. The first recipe is basically gf if you use a gf granola, second one use a gf pasta and third one gf tortillas 🤔💕

LOL! I haven't found a vegan yogurt I like yet. I love the idea of mixing protein powder in!!
LMAO YES
After so many high protein videos, I’d love to see some videos focusing on fiber.
YES
I mean. Any of the black bean recipes will be high in fiber. But still. I'd be down for more than just black bean recipes
When you transferred ingredients from one nice bowl to a nicer bowl, I was like..... " girl the dishes you gonna have to do though...." 💚💚💚

I’ve been taking vegan persona vitamins for 2 weeks now and I’ve been feeling a difference. A good difference.

That's really smart!
Yummmm yesss
“I usually wing my recipes” *my kinda girl* 👏
Those tacos look bomb, gonna try them asap!
They were so good-I made them so many times throughout this week 😂

The protein powder in plant based yogurt is a game changer. Never would've tried it but it makes such a huge difference. Thank you!

I'm curious, why'd you get overwhelmed?
Haha she seems like a very talented cook!!!
All of these look amazing! Definitely come in handy when short on time!
Yay thank you ❤️ hope you try them out
I also heard that if you put tahini and nutritional yeast in a marinara or tomato sauce it makes it nice and creamy! So smart and very easy 🙂
Yessss tahini is so good and nutritional yeast is basically magic
it'll also give you nutrient deficiencies and blow up your brain
