Hey Rob, just a note: As long as the paint does smell, don't put rubber parts like rear light gasket onto the paint. The softeners in the rubber parts will react wit the paint.
Have built several scooters, but just taken on a S2TV175 that’s all painted and part assembled badly. The previous owner got fed up after 8 years. So I’m re during it all. So very interested in your project and interested in how you do it, if different to me. We can always learn new ways
Handy hint for fitting rubber gaskets, use paper masking tape to attach them to the metal bit your fitting. Then tear off the visible masking tape, saves me a lot of buggering about.
