Did anyone noticed the "blink and miss" scene when Shin Asuka was saved by the eye patched mobile suite pilot and have him sit on her lap? While sitting on her lap, Shin cupped/squeeezed her left boob and she made a face and Shin was hillariously oblivious to the fact.

So the Rising Freedom and Rising Justice where destroyed in the battle with Foundation. After that, the they found the Strike Freedom, Destiny and Akatsuki were found in Akatsuki Island in Orb. They were stored there, and the R&D Head improved their system with current tech, and they were ready to move them to the Millennium before they went into space. The Strike Freedom merged with the wings, piloted by Lacus, to form Mighty Strike Freedom.
Strike Freedom was built after the Freedom was stolen or borrowed, by Kira and Lacus. Strike Freedom is built using the same Fleur-system from the Gundam Providence and a better Multi-vector targeting system.
    6:06,
The foundation and the Black Knights use the cloak-feature heavily during the fight to Kira and the Archangel.
The invisibility feature comes from a Gundam in the first Seed series. It came from one of the five Gundam, four were stolen by ZAFT ( Duel, Buster, Aegis and Blitz).
Cagalli was remote piloting the Strike Freedom before Kira got into it.

I can’t confirm it, but it is safe to say it’s been more than one year after Seed Destiny…. If i had to guess, it’s five years in advance. From what Gundam Fandom is showing, it’s more like 1.5 to 2 years after Destiny. I call b.s, but it’s assume that all the main cast of the series are considered of age to be adults versus teens in the prior series.
    8:38 ,
The Akatsuki Gundam, from Orb, has the ability to bounce off laser fire from any range weapon. Physics wise, it’s not for the fact that it is gold-plated, but the metal armor of the Gundam bounces laser fire because the plating emits the same magnetic polarity as the bolt. If a laser bolt is positively charged, the armor-plating has to have the same polarity, and two objects with the same polarity will repulse each other because two of the same charges don’t attract one another.
The Requiem seems to be a beam and microwave-like weapon, and somehow, through plot armor, can unleash an atomic bomb-like destruction too. The Akatsuki’s armor should bounce the lasers off from the Requiem, but the microwave part, i don’t think so…
    9:12 ,
So Orb is run by Cagalli, and she is Kira’s twin sister. Kira’s girlfriend is Lacus, and she became the leader of Compass, and Shin became apart of Compass. So it is safe to say that Infinite Justice, Destiny, and Strike Freedom were stored in Orb as backups as a contingency plan.
    10:03 ,
Being a coordinator is up in the air on super-powers. At thenleast, we can deduce that the Ultimate Coordinator, Kira Yamato, has Logan-Wolverine-like regeneration abilities, and now with Lacus, have psychic abilities as an adaption to Foundation mind-manipulations…. For now, we will chalk it up to “Plot-Armor.”
Kira is probably your typical Taurus male, similar to Anakin Skywalker before he turns into Darth Vader…. Calling him lame is unrealistic..
    10:53 ,
I think you missed the x-factor about the whole series. All the Seed shows are predicated on inequalities between factions based on people with genetic manipulation versus normal or naturals. I would say that it is based on prejudice between naturals versus people who are genetically improved into super humans. There will always be a group of ego-trip people, and people will hate on other people who are “more superior” to them. You will see this behavior in Nazi-ism and White Supremacy. This ignorant tendency to say “my skin is white, and my culture is better than yours” nonsense, and this superiority complex gives me the right to inflict violence upon you is the driving force in parallel with the show driving dilemma.
    11:17 ,
It’s worst than that. Rau is a defective clone of Mu’s father. His father had Mu to carry his legacy on, but then he meet Kira’s biological father and paid into his research, thus the creation of coordinators were made. Rau was the first flawed version, and Kira is suppose the best, possible Coordinator, and that is why he is looked at as the ultimate coordinator.
Rey is an improved version of Rau, but he is naturally born instead of cloned… so Rey doesn’t need to take medicine like Rau did, and Rey doesn’t know Mu father.

    • @MyogiWarrior34
      @MyogiWarrior34 6 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

@@TanukiType you could've analyzed the trailers and make inferences. The differences in battle styles that Kira had between Rising Freedom as opposed to regular Freedom or Strike Freedom - Kira going full melee on the Rising Freedom and barely beam spamming compared to when he's in the latter 2 MS says a lot; along with the transforming gimmick. If you're so familiar with UC - using the Rising Freedom at first with it's grill-less face + transforming gimmick should've given you a hint that it's like Amuro in the ReGZ of CCA.
Also, would it be too odd to "repair" the regular Freedom & Justice when 1: Freedom got destroyed twice - semi vaporized by Genesis and floating in space afterwards, and being stabbed in the pelvis by the Excalibur and Justice got hiroshima'd inside Genesis in episode 50 . Why repair an MS that is vaporized (Justice) and 2: Making a full existing single construct MS have a Mobile Armor flight mode and call it a repair? Inspired, yes but visual queues and combat differences that you can see in under 60s trailers are dead giveaway research materials you could've used to study on prior to the movie about the Mobile suits in question.

@@MyogiWarrior34 I can't blame him too much. I'm a gunpla builder, so I know most of the mobile suits, so I can identify them. The Acton scenes are fast paced and many MS are kinda similar. Even Infinite Justice SpecII is just Infinite Justice with a different backpack. If I didn't know beforehand, I would've been confused as well.

The units of Freedom and Justice between GS, GSD & GSF (movie) are all different. At least for GSD & GSF, the final units of Freedom and Justice are (minor) upgrades, seen from their “spec II” designation.

The Freedoms are all different t Units the same for the Justice if you look up the model numbers, you will notice that the first freedom and the strike freedom has ZGMF but their model numbers are different the rising freedom and the immortal Justice are actually built by compass and have a completely different model number what ended up happening was that, I’m not sure if the movie was terminal but the action terminal had rebuilt not rebuilt had built new versions strike, freedom the infinite the destiny that’s why they are strike freedom speck to infinite Justice and destiny actually the original strike freedom if I’m not mistaken in the novel was stolen and I think they actually mentioned that in the movie for like a brief second but now that they are all different units the same

Also, the dub version of the movie completely misspelled name so I wouldn’t trust or English pronunciation. They went ahead and went with the pronunciations of the re-dubbing that they did for seed and seed destiny I guess for the remastered edition, which makes no sense to me because the remastered was, dubbed with the original cast already I’m being completely honest, my biggest disappointment of the movie. What’s the fact that when I saw the dubbed version it didn’t have the original voice actors and as soon as they mention Lacus’ name me and my girlfriend literally cringed because I had gotten her to see destiny literally like a week or two before we saw the movie. The voice actors weren’t bad by the time I got to the middle of the movie I could see the voices matching the characters for the most part but the pronunciations that I just couldn’t get over,Athrun I think was the only one that I couldn’t get behind the voice actor I’m saying that the voice actor is a bad voice actor. Just meant that his voice coming out of Athrun just didn’t match.

      Cagalli
Remote control the justice so when Catherine was fighting the black Knight while he was using his lid, thoughts of Kigali in order to protect his the Justice was still fighting, and that Cagalli to give an advantage and kind of a almost appearance of advance reaction time it’s very subtle. I think she only did it twice when. Athrun thinking thoughts of Cagali and when he had that quick enough reaction to, I forgot what he did if you’d like dodged a move that allowed him to take down the black night or or what it was, but that was with her help

I may be wrong, but the whole fencing thing is probably an homage to Amuro and Chars final fight in original 0079. In the final episode as you know Zeong and Gundam wreck each other to the point that the pilot have to abandon the machines, but they continued to fight into the fortress and what did they use they use swords specifically they look like fencing swords. So I caught that and thought is was a nice tip of the hat. But like I said, I may be wrong. That’s just what I saw.

You know to me for this movie the psychic manipulation was what I found interesting for this story of orphee was using it on lacus To get her to fall for him and use it on Kira to make his anger feel like he needs to try harder which activates his rage mode And I also liked the action Gundam moments to the movie but I really like the drama of the movie

I gotta say for Orphee about how you explained that stuff about him and what his goal was to have lacus and make her his Bike controlling her with his mind powers.
I gotta say the moments he had with lacus Like the part where he meets her where he ask her to dance and they dance and that part where they were alone in the garden where he says he and his team will be the ones who will end this war. To me and I didn’t mean to say it Was actually a sudden kiss scene With those two but then after that romantic kiss scene lacus does refuse to be with him and turns him down knowing that this is not what she wants and will not go with.

While I commend your putting into the time to review the movie, it really feels like you're trying to nitpick on things that's either fairly common in all gundam shows/movies, or things that you didn't know because you weren't paying attention (or just didn't matter at all).
Gundam had never been a "hard scifi" no matter the series, and bringing this up and making it sound like it's something that's only a problem in Seed is pretty disingenuous. It's perfectly understandable to say that you don't like how certain things are just made to happen, but making out to be something specifically happening in Seed series just causes viewers to question your objectivity.
And then you start complaining about things like mobile suits being rebuilt in days... The film NEVER said anything about the 2 Type II's were rebuilt from the ones destroyed earlier in the film. You made that assumption all by yourself, and then complained about it. If you're a casual viewer, this would be something they simply wouldn't care about. However, since you're watching it as a seasoned fan AND a critic, you really shouldn't just go about making assumptions on stuff and then complain about it. I mean the two gundams that got destroyed early in the film are battery-powered while the Strike Freedom/Infinite Justice/Destiny (in Destiny and in Freedom) are all reactor powered for crying out loud. Shouldn't this be a pretty indication about new units and rebuilts?

I do feel like there are just a lot of nit picking here. Gundam has never been about 100% realism and it is all about the characters and or the politics. GS and GSD as well as GSF now is pretty much a show about the characters. Also it seems like this person does not seem to know any of the supplemental materials that had to do with this series.

SEED Freedom repaired my sour taste against SEED Destiny because Naturals finally have a minor role in COMPASS, while coordinators became sidelined by Accords whose problem was prophesized by Rau Le Creuset. However, the major problem remains that Director Fukuda is either a closet fascist or an idiot because there is a huge power imbalance or plot bias towards the coordinators. I would not surprised if Fukuda is actually a fascist one because there is no shortage of Japanese directors having scandals related to right-wing politics or worse pedophilia (a recent executive in My Name was charged for this). Not to mention that the allegation of Fukuda's cheating on his wife has certain legitimacy because he later remarried with the very voice actress being accused of infidelity. The very reason why SEED was successful is because its primary audience is in Asia who love RomCom which involves adultery, NTR, and emotional abuse. SEED Freedom has all of those RomCom aspects included with Coordinators saving the days as filthy Naturals are useless.
Anyway, Coordinators do not exhibit any sympathetic characteristics, while many of them are outrightly supremacists even worse than Ghiren's Zeon fascists of One Year War. Even Ghiren's goals have a certain rationale behind his evil actions like overpopulation or ecological reasons, and he was the primary engine that helped Zeon rise to power in the first place. Meanwhile, ZAFT and coordinators are just straight-up supremacists akin to the Khan's Augments in Star Trek. Gundam SEED and SEED Destiny can be considered what Khan's dream from Star Trek will look like. I always root for Rau Le Creuset to win and destroy such a horrible setting of bad writing and closet eugenicism. Naturals in the series never ever have a win except for SEED Stargazer which should have expanded to repair the mess that was created by Fukuda & Morisawa in the first place. Hell, I rather bring back Director Tomino to write a new sequel since SEED is the retelling of the original Gundam Series but a very poor one. Perhaps, the future SEED sequel will involve the war between Earth and Martians (who actually implement Destiny Plan) but I don't want Director Fukuda to be near it.
My final verdict for SEED Freedom is a repaired bridge between SEED and a sequel that is good enough to pretend SEED Destiny never existed.

Just watched it online. Was it worth it all? Fuck no!!!! While its visuals and other features are top notch, The plot is full of nothing but arsepulls, and plot twist galore, with genuinely laughable bad guys that make you think nothing can be any worse than this. But at the same time trying to make a decent follow up from a very shit prequel especially when you're trying to tie everything together somehow. I'm genuinely surprised with all the positive reviews this has gotten. This is an extremely average movie trying to somehow fix itself from the extremely shit prequel that preceded it.

In case you accuse me of going into this movie expecting to hate it, I went in with no expectations. Just expecting a good time waster that doesn't shoot itself too badly in the foot. While it did do that, It had genuinely laughable characters with laughable motivations for why they do things, and moments that genuinely infuriating moments that made you want to tear your hair out, and no book that comes out afterwards will change that. Movie should stand on their own as with most books.
