What a wonderful review! I am so glad that people are highlighting its relation to 8th MS Team, which contains my favorite Gundams, the Ground Type and Ez8. Also, I really thought it was a movie, but was pleasantly surprised to see it as a series. I have to agree with your takes about the series, as I found myself having similar thoughts. Overall, good review 👍. You've got yourself a subscriber right here.
Gun tanks shown firing at a range of about 4 city blocks on the port complex in two batteries. When they have a range of somthing like 30km's. Then get obliterated by three Zeek MS's.. just weird.
What got me was how the Zeon force acted like the victims of the war. These Zeon soldiers were the victims when it came to the EX Gundam but they were acting like everything bad about this war was the doing of Earth. They seem to forget that Zeon gassed the people of a colony and then dropped that colony on Earth. Only one Zeon soldier in this series points out that as citizens of Zeon, they are from space and they are on the Earth and that the people of Earth have the right to defend their homeland. He falls short of calling it what it is a Zeon invasion of Earth.
Great review by the way. 😊

He did say that Zeon were the invaders to the people of Earth, iirc.
@@TanukiType I am fairly sure he didn't use the word invasion.
