Honestly didn't expect this vid to not even surpass a thousand views. Rather professional all things considered. Wouldn't blame the unpopular opinions for it, though. Probably just TH-cam's algorythm not having caught wind of this one. Also, the volume's rather low, but wouldn't blame the lack of traction on that either.
You can't actually hate that Infinite fight though, like, that theme song, and coneptualy it's kinda cool with a Oroborus reference going along with the infinite snake. It's kinda short and easy but it's still pretty cool.
Forces had ALOT going for it, but really just got bogged down by the game somehow feeling rushed (which is a bit backwards cause I cant think of any game breaking issues at launch on any platform minus some hiccups on PC) on both level design and story Level design I am willing to go slightly easy on, given it was largely just a bunch of newbies, but the story just had an abundance of what I like to call 'The RWBY effect' of just making a rough draft and then calling it done
19:00 My feelings...😭😭 Jokes aside I do see the plot as one of the top 2 factors of a Sonic game. A game can be good without a good written or hell even a complicated plot generations has barely ANY story and it manages to be in my top two. Point is plot is important it can transform a good game into a great game in my opinion. (Good vid man making long videos isnt easy) (P.S) Sunset Heights was the first level Sonic Team started development on so that might be why you can notice all these qualities to it.
I hate that this game was rushed. It had massive potential but it feels like they just used it to test the new engine while all the work and care was put into Frontiers. Also hot take, but most of this soundtrack ain’t good. Sunset Heights was an example you used. The opening riff is AMAZING but then goes into an ugly sounding synth. That’s what I hate those ugly synth sounds which kill the vibe of most tracks. Fist Bump and Infinite are the only ones I go back to. Maybe Aqua Road too.
Absolutely. No idea how the Sonic community haven't blown up this video at all. Is it the video quality of the gameplay footage? It's kinda wonky and makes me think my video quality is low at times. Aside from that, it's quite a level-headed analysis.
You honestly shouldn't lose interest in Rangers just because of Forces. They're putting more effort into it because they've spent four years on this new mainline game, whereas Forces only had one year
Yet this is the exact same thing we supposed of Forces back in the day. Wouldn't surprise me if Rangers also only had 1 year, with the rest on something else.
@@charmyzard What else would they need to work on LOL They got a physics engine from Colors Ultimate, they got Hedgehog Engine 2 down, I don't see anything really getting in their way
I like some things but yes, it's pure disappointment especially for being promised a serious story and Team that made SC and SG, not two newbies that had no experience.
I'm surprised you don't have a 1,000 or more subs I personally love Sonic 06 more than boring garbage forces 06 could have been great if it was delayed for a year or sonic forces I don't know if a delay would have saved this boring as hell game. Unless they could of fixed the writing and short as hell levels which I doubt it with Pontac and Graff at the time writing for the Sonic franchise plus don't think the director would of change the short levels with in a year.
