Totally agree. 💯 Also, based on the fact that Shadow survived in the post credits scenes, 05 has to eventually happen. However, I have a feeling that it’ll be drastically different from the original game. It’s probably because this version came from a meteor, which makes me think that Black Doom probably created Shadow without any help (unlike the games) and that Shadow probably was a scout for Black Doom this entire time. I also have the feeling that Shadow will probably be manipulated into an even worse situation than what happened in the game because of him coming from a meteor, and that Gerald wasn’t the one that created him: probably leaving him to fend for himself in the upcoming Black Arms event. I also have the feelings that Gerald probably didn’t leave the note for Shadow to make the right judgement on the Black Arms, which might make things even worse.

Yes he did when he was defeated and Sonic showed mercy. Also, Sonic already knew about Maria when he was informed by the G.U.N. commander.
