I really like gundam.. but he is terrible at pronouncing things. This is very typical in NYC. I've lived here for a long time and most people sound like idiots. It's also one of the reasons he won't be taken seriously, people in general want things pronounced 'correctly' or at the very least pre-admit that you may pronounce something wrong. And doesn't matter anyways.. this is now fake news since bigsean isn't even a dev.

I really wish more people were like you than i wouldnt have to worry about my gaming hobby going to ****. I feel very frustrated when i see what companies get away with and how poorly understood the problem at hand is. As i said elsewhere already: its gotten to a point where people are more concerned about the wellbeing of companies than their own wellbeing and they begin to echo the lies the industry is feeding us: "They need to make money". Ofc they do, but they did just fine and some are still doing fine without screwing us over with unethical buiness models. Its on them to convince us of the quality of their product and warrant their asking price to compete with their buiness rivals and strife as a company. i wanted to add 1 thing to the Gambling accusation, remember this applies to Lootcrates where you can buy the crate and the key to open the box for real money and its a random output, if someone that bought a lootcrate and the key and since they used real money was able to select any gun out of the crate that wouldnt be gambling on a real money basis, if the only ones that were random where ingame reward crates and keys that would be okay to be random technically, of course last i knew you couldnt find keys in game period but that may have changed, either way they are using the system to their advantage, and even some games selling then putting it in after and going free to play so they "Bait and Switched" their customers, absolute shameful business practice and actually probably legitimently illegal
There's something that I don't get here: I played the original SWBF2 from the day it was released in 2005 to the day servers went down a couple of years ago, yet I never got tired of it... There was absolutely no progression in that game that could have made me hooked, yet I still played for 10 years!
Games nowadays aren't like that unfortunately, I feel like the players of tomorrow will only play games to progress and not to have fun anymore, which is a shame...

If you have a preorder. You can get the game and just keep the receipt and keep it in its package. Then you can take it the next day or even the same day.
Imagine if Disney gave the exclusive Star Wars game rights to Bethesda. Right now we might've been getting SW games by Arkane Studios, MachineGames and id Soft. We'd probably get a spiritual successor to Jedi Knight and Republic Commando and who knows, maybe they'd even give Obsidian another go at KotOR, or whatever Disney's new canon equivalent might be. Don't get me wrong, Bethesda's been responsible for their fair share of bullshit business practices recently, but their published games haven't suffered from the paid mods idiocy and they've been able to release more than 2 decent games in the last 5 years, so that's a definite win compared to Enormous Assholes.

What the people don't seen to know is when you Pre-Order a game you are effectively becoming an investor of the Product and just like with any major business out there if a Company who you've invested into does something so drastic and damaging to the Product in Question of what you had initially invested into then as an investor you are entitled to pull your support whenever you can.
If the Company reinforces the notion that you are not allowed a refund then you must challenge them and in some Countries it is illegal to sell deceptive and broken products which could lead to a Class Action Civil Lawsuit being filed to EA and this would not end well.
This has happened before with the People VS Sega/Gearbox for Aliens Colonial Marines so it could happen again with the People VS EA/DICE for Star Wars Battlefront 2.
