I honestly don't think it needs a remaster. The graphics are amazing, gameplay is fine, and there aren't any huge problems. Plus, a remake would mean they'd use Roger Craig Smith instead of Jason Griffith, which I would dislike tbh.

This gets super interesting after 30 minutes, I’m glad I had it running in the background. Using combos for movement, skips, and out-of-bounds clips is super cool, plus whatever you’re doing at 37:00 to get more exp
Considering that Forces doesn't have as many speed glitches and is overall shorter with less budget and ambition, that makes sense. I still really enjoy both games tbh, but ur comment really makes one appreciate just how good this run is

I really felt Forces at least tried to be a mini Unleashed with elements of Colors and Generations done better and worse, respectively, and while it is indeed sad that SEGA rushed this, I feel fans wouldn't be as sad if Mania was 40 bucks and Forces was 20.

Tbh it was skill gap. I realize I may not have made a fair comparison, as Forces was my first 3D Sonic game while I had already become sufficiently skilled at Generations before getting the chance to play through the masterpiece that was Unleashed. The mechanics are basically the same with Unleashed having a much more expansive moveset than Generations, though less polished, so I found it much easier to play Unleashed than if it had been my first game. Also playing Rise of Lyric got me used to the general Werehog button mapping, as they're surprisingly similar in that sense. That's why I didn't really struggle that much. I just replaced Forces though and finished it in about an hour and a half, though I primarily attribute that to the fact that I played a ton of Forces before my latest playthrough and I only just started ramping up my Unleashed tech. Hope this helps!

I like how the speedrunner is purposefully not grabbing ANY of the collectibles, minus the sun and moon medals. And this game as a journey and experience is unforgettable, like really going on a world adventure.
The fact that the fastest routes through most of the day stages is literally just following the set path, but doing everything as precisely as possible is so interesting to me. Obviously it's how the game was meant to be played, but it's just cool that boundary breaking is so sparse there.
Purely here because I would play this religiously and couldn’t beat it as a kid, you have given me (now 21) confidence to play through once more and conquer my old foe. Also gg’s on the speed run hehe.
Never understand why people genuinely don't like this game, I have played it a lot on my ps2 in my childhood but never touched the ps3/xbox version, this looks absolutely incredible and fun to play, I like the idea of having powerups on the world lobby to use it to explore, I hope I can play this someday edit: I finally got to play this version of the game and I'm loving it! it's so much different from the PS2 ver, it's a totally new game! I've been having fun so far
@@Sydney_Angelyt Generations is another story for me, the first time I played, it was amazing but, after replaying it recently, I got a bit annoyed with the automatic sections in a few parts, it happened a few times when I was trying to go a little backward to get a red ring but even if I was pushing the joystick backward sonic was walking forward and the only way to get the ring was dying or restarting the stage, really bored me lol
