I feel bad for eggman because if something faster than you can comprehend starts bouncing frantically off your flying thing you built I would be scared
I like how there are a lot of inputs that show-off the kind of character Sonic has, like having him look up at his score while it counts up, styling on Robotnik during boss fights, or having him tap his foot in his idle animation between boss cycles while standing in safety. Kind of like how he acts in the The Adventures of Sonic The Hedgehog cartoon. And you beat the game inside the runtime of an episode!

I remember I could not pass Labyrinth Zone 3 for the life of me. I found out accidentally the tried and true 'Up Down Left Right A+C' and would skip it just so I could finish the game, lol. I would always drown before I would reach Robotnik. This was an epic run!
I did an unoptimized Sonic 1 Any% TAS in 09.20 IGT. 100% in 16.42 is very good :) I love the jump strats in the special stages, I never knew about that. Nice job.

I've only ever played the second one, since that's the one I grew up with. It's insane how similar this one is, it seems like they just improved on the illusion of speed and really went hard with the music for the second.
