How're you able to start boosting at 5 seconds into the level? My game won't register anything until 6-7 seconds.
You have to be very precise on pressing the boost button when shadow is on a specific frame. I would suggest practicing and look at shadows movement closely till you find out what frame that is. From there you should be able to do it no problem.
@@Giyo-h2o I figured out that it's because you have to be stick neutral at the start. I would just be holding forward instinctively, and for whatever reason that delays being able to boost by about 2 seconds.

Just curious Why casting chaos spear in air?
Chaos Spear preserves momentum when in air, and spamming it is a good way to keep conserving momentum. The speedrunning community calls it "Spearmaxxing" or "Spear Gliding". It helps shave seconds off of your time when used right, especially when used in conjunction with Chaos Control and Doom Wings.

Can you explain what happened at around the 25 second mark? How did you immediately refill your chaos control meter in-between the two capsules??
I assume it's the bots on the rails. I'm guessing the explode either after they hop off the rails or it's because they're offscreen? I can't say for sure
@Technonova323 I've figured it out. There's an exploit where if you hold the chaos control button while touching a capsule, you'll get two chaos controls from a single capsule. Though as far as I can tell, this exploit does not work when touching capsules mid-air or with a homing attack

Just based on observation, he starts with a double jump before the first air boost, then I'm guessing as he's landing there's a window where you can initiate a normal jump and boost again? Every time I try though I just get stuck sliding.
