And put ABS on the brakes and traction control on your accelerator With the two motors are really really good in ACC. It helped me beat my best lap times

Interesting review! What are your thoughts on the P1000 value for money after factoring in the additional cost of the brake and throttle upgrades? Incremental upgrades can certainly push the price higher and higher
I'd say that including the crucial (sort of) addons such as Hydraulic Throttle and brake at well under 1000USD seems like a great value. While yes, an individual can opt for transducers, the Haptic reactors aren't bad at all. Especially considering that they are Simhub compatible now. While addons might keep piling up resulting in a price bump, I would say that it offers a very particular set of customization for everyone. An individual doesn't necessarily have to buy all the addons, but I'm happy to see that Simagic is catering to all the needs *if* the simracing itch comes back.
Im think all of this explaining of throttle spring physics i boring to your family and friends and you decided to share it with your geek internet friends I Love it
If you are planning on not buying any upgrades for P1000s, then I’d suggest you to go for Sprint. If you plan on spending a few bucks here and there to upgrade stuff, then P1000s all the way.
Have you personally used the Sprints? I used them at a friends’ place and I really don’t like them. I don’t see the hype. Do you maybe have a few settings I can tweak so I have a better experience next time? With the feeling I have now I’d rather have my old T-LCM pedals than the sprints. But I am going to the Sim Racing Expo in October so maybe I’ll get to try out the P1000’s there and then maybe buy them.
I use Sprints on my personal rig (have been using for 2 years now) and have P1000s mounted on my secondary rig. While Sprints are praised for their durability and the level of customisation it offers, P1000 isn’t a slouch either. My Sprint have been set in a manner where after 15-20% of the travel, it will be a brick. Like a proper brick. I used plastic spacers in the end because I found them better according to my usage. There are elastomers included as well, so you can experiment it to better tune it to your liking. I too started from all elastomer layout to a more brick feeling brake. On P1000, I use all elastomers. The shape of elastomers which Simagic uses (button design) makes it feel very different from all the pedals using cylindrical elastomers. I too switched from T-LCMs to Sprint and there was definitely a learning curve. Both P1000 and Sprint are excellent set of pedals that I would recommend blindly.
Found your channel looking into the r12 vs simagic bases. I really like your style. I think the other channels where they film themselves talking is distracting.
Hello, do you find that they are too upright as some say or they are fine? What do you think about the ergonomics of these non inverted pedals? Also will you review the hydraulic kit?
Hey tkd, I find them perfectly fine. I used them on my NLR GT track and a 4080 profile, and felt comfortable. I believe I only changed travel distance and firmness. And which hydraulic kit? Brake?
Excellent analysis. I am about to pull the trigger on these. Going through other reviews, people were saying (including Dan Suzuki) that when you have brakes on load cell the brake pressure is not consistent i.e. if you have you put constant pressure the software registers the right pressure and then immediately drops a bit even though your foot has not moved. The recommendation is to use angle(this issue doesn't happen) instead of loadcell. Is that true? The reason I am asking is if I am moving from a low end Thrustmaster pedal to a Simagic one I want to be using a loadcell. I hope this makes sense.
Hi there! I didn’t find that to be the case. It could be a unit dependent issue. I believe Racebeyondmatter found it. Either way, The ones I got didn’t act funny. Or perhaps it could be a a software issue.
What a great video!!!! :) Can I ask.... what do you think would be better P1000 with Hydraulic Brake (and maybe also Hydraulic Throttle) or P2000? (both are similar price in Australia). Thank you :) Don, Perth W.Australia (Dons Shed and Xplor Overland)...... p.s. I've Subscribed :)
Thank you, Don. I would say both are very good options. Only difference would be that P1000s have a 100kg loadcell on brake by default (can purchase 200kg as addon) and on P2000 (equipped with a 200kg loadcell on brake) you get triple loadcell. Meaning all pedals have loadcells. P1000s have loadcell + hall sensor on brake, and only hall sensors on throttle and clutch. Not that it makes that big of a difference. If budget isn’t an issue, it ultimately comes down to what you find aesthetically pleasing. Since hydraulic throttle comes by default in P2000, you’d only have to pay for the hydraulic brake. Both are extremely compelling offerings.
Hello again how are you? I will probably buy them and i want to clarify something in my mind to justify the price. Whatbi dont like about my fanatec V2 is that even with the softest elastomer-spring they have very limited travel. For gt and formula is very good but fir rally and weight transfer is difficult to brake. For rallying i would like a softer pedal and cause you brake so ofter it gets tiring and i tend to brake less than i should. I hope you understand whatt um saying and do you think the P1000 would solve this problem? If so i really like the design and way simagic is going and i would like to have this pedal in my rig PS your videos are very helpfull and for some things explained i recommend your channel
Hey there. I’m doing good, and I hope you’re well too. I understand what you’re trying to say. If you have a little bit of doubt in your heart, you can get your hands on the additional spring/elastomer parts that Simagic offers. You can then choose to stick with springs or elastomers for brake. It has a lot of combinations, so I think it will not cause an issue.

Great review. I have these pedals and I love them, a massive upgrade from the fanatec csl load cell pedals. I replaced the throttle plate with the longer one and it feels much better. Like you said, the heel plate is a bit short but with the longer throttle it's not that bad. I've not found any other down sides after 3 months of use.
