I returned to SimRacing after some years a few month ago. Back then (I drove GT5 & 6 on a PS3) I learned much about Logitech and Fanatec wheels from you and Darren Gangi and loved your videos. Its sooo nice to see you again nowadays. 👍👍👍My approach this time is an aluminum rig with a Moza R16v2 with GS v2p Wheel and the P1000 whith hydraulic Brake and haptic motors on throttle and brake. It is a very decent system IMHO and I consider to give the hydraulic throttle a try now 🤗☺🥳
Thanks for the upload, man! I really appreciate your coverage of the Simagic P1000 pedals, they're some of the most helpful and comprehensive videos on the topic - I'm particularly excited about the per-pedal rumble! A $520 hobby investment is a big deal for me, but after considering nearly every fancy set of pedals with a load cell brake, these appeal to me the most. They seem to be endgame pedals I'll never need to upgrade from, and vids like this make me feel a lot more sure of my decision to order them soon. Just gotta build my RigMetal cockpit and it'll be time!
You showed me something i initially considered useless actually does have some value, i never thought about it helping when tires get worn. Thank you for another video and i will see you on the friday pitstop! Peace✌️
Anyone wanting to know they feel super smooth (in regards to how it feels when you press the pedal not when he says he presses it smoothly 2 different things) He doesn't mention this no idea why but yes it feels really smooth This seems like one big sales pitch sad because loved Shauns channel for years.
This is a disadvantage to anyone with real throttle control? Senna's throttle techniques would be limited based on how a damper works. If you think of how dampers or a shock works slowing down the throttle seems counter productive. Are these marketed as a beginner clutch deal? would love to see them get that unsprung weight/shakers off the moving pedal too! 👍 These are on my radar to swoop, great previous review of these and this hydro throttle.
The simagic pedals are way more upgradeable. It's a very modular pedal set. And the parts are easy to change if something will break. I think they dont, but if, its very easy :)
After adding so many helpers to the system it will completely replace you driving the car and then you will become another NPC in the game. All NPCs were once real human beings like you. This is how they are made.
If you want to reduce throttle effect or a lead foot, adjust the input curve in software or add a stiffer spring. If you rely on this widget, you are reinforcing bad throttle technique.
How have you been using it for over a month when they just started shipping them last week. By that logic you ordered them before Simagic even publicly announced this product.
It's definitely useful on throttle, you don't seem to be knowledgeable about this topic if that's what you think. You're applying load cell logic to pedal force feedback - I'd say throttle FFB is even more important than brake, but both are important. I don't care about clutch, so I'm not knowledgeable enough about that one, but throttle definitely benefits from it. Looking to get a P1000 in a few weeks, leaning towards getting two feedback things with it. No hydraulics for me yet.

That headband is FIRE! ❤
That is a really cool addition. Thanks for the cool review, Shaun.
Thanks for watching!
And you do know your supposed to remove that yellow sticker on the brake hydraulic reservoir
That’s some serious miracle grow 👍🏻
Can’t wait i preordered this already

In few years will be pedales with fb for 1/3 price of simucube
'how do you do fellow kids?' intro kinda vibes 😂
As a sock racer, adding more pressure to the P1000 throttle will feel wonderful on the base of my foot when the pedal mount chamfer cuts in 😅
I agree

It would be nice if you showed how you take the old spring off like what kind of shot is that 🤷🏽♂️

could you use this for the brake? trying to find an easy system to change from user to user like the throttle
Wonder if it works with inverted pedals.
Yes it will work with the inverted set.
Wow just installed it on the p1000i inverted pedal game changer, shorter through
@@lstrickland3412 is it better?
Could I use this with my Fanated damper mount?
Feels more like a sales pitch than a review
Thanks for Video 🙂
Is this P1000 pedals / 2 pedal set without hydralic brake kit / upgrade from Fanatec CSL Elite v2 pedals ?

What? do you like them or not?
Why are you wearing a Tribble?
Supposed to take that sticker off the hydraulic brake lolololol
Simagic is looking more enticing. I cant choose between simagic or fanatec to upgrade from my g923
Simagic by far
@frozezone22 go simagic the fanatec pedals are a toy in comparison I had them both inverted and normal and they feel dead in comparison
Had the Clubsport V3 and now full hydraulic p1000. The difference is rather big.

John McEnroe, is that you
The implants took well Sean.
This isn’t even the P1000’s final form!

This damper feels excellent, but it has failed and leaked on me within a month. It is a shame.
lol you don’t even have it yet! Not even released and your channel isn’t big enough to get one sent over!! So quit with the bullshit
You’re full of 💩 ! This item is a preorder and not even out yet lol! Your channel isn’t big enough to get one sent over!
lol keep lying and deleting comments

@tilus75 you must be on about the p2000 dampener which was revised and this one only came out a few days ago so how?????
Haptic motor is only useful on the brake! The gas and clutch are useless

depends on the game and how you use it
@@nickstarlingchdoes iracing have any use for throttle haptics?

I disagree, with simhub you can e.g. map wheel slip to throttle (and wheel lock to brakes which is useful even when you don't have ABS), very useful.
