Def isn't the simagic of 3 years ago. I'm serious when I say identical to simucube. What's funny is simucube actually has even more coil whine and is louder with its frequencies then simagic. The higher end brands actually utilize those things for details as simucube has confirmed. Its almost like simagic has some how refined it. I love that I can feel the motor vibrations at high rpm also it matches up with the car identically. People aren't used to that so they think it may be an unwanted effect but me now I can't live without it. Almost tells you if the car is balanced or now. But yeah it's somehow such a smooth base through all of that also. I just love that it does things other bases dont with frequencies and stuff except for simucube again they do it also. Dd+ will with fullforce but I don't like fanatecs built in dampening and inirtia it doesn't feel natural to me and you can turn it off and it's still there.
My experience was good but I sold my ultimate in favour of the Simucube 2 Pro. I just love the simplicity of the software and the ability to find great profiles very quickly. Simagic make great stuff but their software leaves a little to be desired.

Like in acc you cannot adjust the high speed inirtia out it's way to heavy even lower settings snd feels very unnatural. It's not heavy because of ffb either it's an effect they use that isn't in the game and no other wheels do this. Which tells me they also like fanatec use built in effects that you cannot adjust out. I do not like that I want to be able to find the limit of grip not rely on very small movements until I push past only center forces and then I get yanked. It's just not as good as simucube or simagic. Even if asetke is using simucubes motor. It's that new brand hype people have. But yeah I agree with laurence he pointed out the same things. Great base for sure super detailed just nit the feeling I look for. I want to feel the raw nice polished clean feel. Simagics software has also improved so much with the newer simpro2 there latest update from 2 months ago was amazing. I felt there software was lacking also. But the base and the reaction to the settings now is great. Luckily somagic is also starting to make wheels that work with simhub like the gt neo and they just leaked a patent for a new f1 wheels. So looks like simagic has a new f1 wheel coming. That should also be simhub compliant but we shall see.
@@reviewforthetube6485 ... I had Simucube2 Pro for 3 years, recently i move to Asetek Invicta and i enjoy it better then Simucube. More response and fill on all frequencies of FFB. Simucube is a top brand regarding simracing hardware but they are not alone and there are some better or clever solutions in the market.
I have one haptic motor attached to the bottom of my seat, configured for rpms and gear shift. And it’s gorgeus!! I am not gonna play without it anymore. And I am going to order two more motors for my Asetek pedals.
@@bearsa5817 veeeery easy, you need simhub software (shown on this video). I’ve connected it to clutch port (no. 1) and set for gearshift function and rpms (you can assign many functions to one motor, but don’t take too much) in Shaker motors tab in Simhub. You can find video on youtube how to configure that as well.
You hit the nail on the head when you say these offer a simple entry into bringing tactile immersion to pedals. Also that they have been widely adapted for many pedal options. I have two of these myself. Yet they do have certain limitations and drawbacks when it comes to other affordable possibilities.... In comparison, what your missing out on, is much better feeling sensations, from various effects that are possible. Below is a summary of specific items you really should consider looking into for a future video on tactile and I would have loved to of seen your own impressions with.
Nobsound NS-20G Mini Digital Power Amplifier @ £65 StarTech 7.1 USB - External Sound Card @ £33 Neccessary cables @ £10 Dayton Audio EX32VBDS-4 @ £38 (each) For under £190 its possible to have stereo based effects on pedals that operate over a much wider frequency range (with specially created effects). Simply delivering felt sensations that are not possible with any of the motor based options and also better than TT25 or BST transducers.
Hey matey just checking did you email me before? I might confuse you for someone else thou. I am going to give this a try and compare but will take me 2-3 months but il get it done 👍🏻
@@TheSimCircuit Ok cool, will respond to your email, I would love to help you out on this if I can. Yet at the same time, understand you need to come at it from your own experiences, is important you have full control in offering your own opinions and comparisons.
Good vid I just picked mine up last week. Anyone using HE+ with stock pedals. Skip the brackets or 3d print mount. The motor and plate can connect directly to the extra pedal mount holes with long enough m3 screws and nuts . Sunk screws for a clean mount . I have my pedals at lowest position so I can use two screws. But it should even hold with only one screw. It is super clean mounting this way and you get maximum feel from the motors.
@@TheSimCircuit nope just the round plate the motor mounts on. You just need two (or one) longer length m3 screws + nut/washer. I didn’t even need to remove the pedals.
@@RATTMANthis is very encouraging, thanks for sharing. Wish I could see pics because I have SimCore fat boi pedals on my HE+… might just have to order and tinker (per usual) lol. Cheers.
Timely video! I just received my SiMagic shakers in the mail yesterday, BUT... I am still awaiting my 3D printed adapters to put them on my Simgrade VX-Pro pedals, which wont arrive until Tuesday (Shakes fist in the air!) Can't wait to give them a go!
I bought Fanatec Clubsport V3 with the brake damper mod and shakers on the gas and brake a while back. Fanalab profile configured to dial in the actuation properly and avoid them going over the top, and haptics particularly on the brake pedal feels great. So accustomed to it and it immediately improved my braking performance. However I need the next step up now I have a Simagic Alpha wheel but I hope that my next pedals have haptic feedback built in to the rear of the piston instead of the pedal because that will feel even better. I’m glad to see haptics kits getting more popular though :)
Haptics definitely makes a huge improvement on the driving experience 🙌🏻 I’m also glad to see them getting popular and more easy to use and implement 👍🏻thank you for watching 😃
Original Simagic bracket also can be used on almost any pedals, I did tutorial about it. This really is great upgrade (I use it on brake and throttle).
🙌🏻🙌🏻 I do reply but unfortunately you won’t like the answer to your question matey 🤦🏼♂️ hopefully console support will come soon but will need some sort of 3de party software to make them work
@@TheSimCircuityes mate for my Simgrade VX Pro. So aggressive I’ve gone down from 100 percent to 45. What is your setting, I need to check back on your video ?
@@WittyGooseRacing the motor output tab is like a main volume knob just keep that at 100% then in the effect tab you can adjust the “volume” strength of each effect separately. This is great if you are running multiple effects on one shaker 👍🏻
@@TheSimCircuitI’m mainly iRacing so just ABS for my brake. Decent upgrade, yeah I make a mistake here or there but the next lap I now have some feedback that I can modulate around to avoid it happening again. Keep up the great content
Have these attached to fanatec v3s (got them attached using p2000 brackets with some rotation and extra screws) for like 6 months now works great but have my abs set to 11hz
Honestly mate, even if SiMagic made the price double I would still be recommending these. They are fantastic, start with one shaker if you feel you need another you can always get one then. Best bang for buck performance improving accessory for sim racing in my opinion 🙌🏻
You sold me sir. Only part I can’t decide on is whether or not to buy a second one for the throttle since I mainly play iRacing. I feel like I might enjoy it for upshifts and road textures though. 🤔
Road textures are nice I sometimes use my shakers for road textures it makes driving feel a bit more immersive but I also find sometimes after a long driving session that Road textures become very repetitive 🤷🏼♂️ either way iRacing does not offer loads for throttle but it certainly a nice to have. I actually have shifts on all my profiles I like the short buzz when changing gears 🙌🏻
I used the active pedals for about 10-15 minutes and look you can’t compare, the Active pedals are boss but if you take price into account then these shakers are hard to beat 🙌🏻
Can you share more info? is it on your throttle or brake? and when I add it as an effect I get a warning in simhub that iRacing doesnt provide telemetry for it.
Cars without ABS I run wheel lock on the brake. For throttle iRacing does not support traction control but you can use wheel slip instead so your throttle will vibrate when you lose traction. I find the wheel slip not as useful as the wheel lock or abs on brake but still nice extra to have 🙌🏻
@@TheSimCircuit I use "Traction Loss" and it seems to work well and line up with the TC lights flashing in GT3 cars. I'm still tweaking and playing with things but so far using wheel lock has been great for both the Porsche Cup as well as the GT3 cars so thank you for the suggestion. I do have ABS completely off but maybe I'll try it out strictly for GT3 cars instead of wheel lock.
😂😂😂 there was another clip I really wanted to use but chose this as it was the milder of the two. If I used that clip the fridge & freezer would have been binned 😂
This will be nice and clean looking 🤩 I have drilled plenty of holes but never taped. Going to get me the tap bits might be handy in future for other pedals 🤔
Thanks for this man, I will be picking up some today. Maybe an idea to do an updated review of your experiences with the asetek wheelbase. There isn't too many reviews after an extended period of use.
Thanks for watching matey 🙌🏻 I will try and do another update video but it will be later in the year. I have quite allot to work through and realistically with my time I have I can only do 2-3 videos a month.
Phenomenal tutorial mate! Have you by any chance tried how it works for example formula cars where the break has lockup detection and the throttle has wheelspin detection?
Thank you matey 🙌🏻 I have not tested either wheel slip or wheel lock but both those settings are available for you to use. Actually think that running wheel lock on cars that don’t have ABS might be very useful 🤔 think I will give it a go in next week or two 🙌🏻
I must admit I have a buttkicker but don’t use it much, only reason really it’s very noisy and unfortunately my sim rig is located right above our bedroom, not the type of vibrations my wife enjoys 😂🤦🏼♂️
100% yes now I do find wheel slip works better on certain cars than others but definitely usable. Wheel lock up works great on all non abs cars I have driven. Thanks for watching matey it’s appreciated 🙌🏻
In ACC I mapped the one I have on the throttle to traction loss instead of TC using SimHub. Eventually after a bit of tweaking with the gamma I have a nice progressive rumble and the throttle as the traction get less and less. Now most of the time I have TC off.
@@TheSimCircuit Effects Profile Tab: Power 100%, Gamma 3:05, Threshold and Minimum 0, Input Gain 100. Motors Output tab: Traction loss selected for left and right. No TC or anything else on that pedal. Just traction loss and it is working for me. I am so impressed with these things I am going to get the clutch one as well. More smiles per mile. Also I put the Brake Frequency to 10hz and the Throttle to 25kz. both 100% to help my brain differentiate between the two better.
Oh DBox is amazing would love one of them but to answer your question no I don’t think it would be redundant and I have briefly used motion simulators in the past. Because the shaker is connected directly to the pedals I assure you that you will feel it through your feet even if your dbox is already shaking you. Won’t cost you allot so even if you don’t feel them you won’t loose much but I can say with a certain amount of certainty that once they mounted you won’t take them off 😉
This is not something I have come across myself 🤷🏼♂️ so I don’t think it’s normal. But if they work well during race and are not continuously vibrating I would not be too worried 👍🏻
How do they make you faster? I know you can sense when ABS starts or when the wheels start spinning, but we know when the wheels are spinning through the steering wheel. And ABS is suppose to help not slow you down so i dont understand how it would make you faster.
ABS cars helps prevent you from locking up your brakes, but they don't prevent locking up wheels all together. It's hard to tell how far you are away from locking up brakes by just looking at an abs light indicator. With the hprs you can feel when you get close the limit and can release ur brake just a bit to prevent locking up and in turn make you more consistent/faster. 🤷🏼♂️
Thanks for the info. I really enjoy your content!…would you use these haptics with a buttkicker? Also, do you know where to get a 3D attachment for Asetek Invicta Series S pedals, I’m not finding any. Thank you!

Hi! its perfectly explained. I do need some help tho, as soon as i put less than 100% ("sound") in effect profiles, the abs just wont activate. Ive seen he has it in 50% and I would love just to have a little less strenght as in the new house that I am walls are way too thin...help would be greatly appriciated, thank you!
Hey matey happy to help. See in Simhub at Motors Output Tab that is like the master volume and will affect all effects (leave this at 100%). Then in the Effects Profile Tab you set the actual volume of how strong you want each effect to be for example you can put gear shift at 100% but might want Abs only at 75% so in short in the effect tab is where you will adjust the output of how strong the shakers are for every individual effect. Hope this helps 🙌🏻
the car you are driving on the simulator has ABS? Cars that don’t have abs in real life won’t have in sim either like LMP cars I am assuming this not problem but just want to rule it out?
Hey Andrew thanks for watching matey, 3d printer very handy not just for sim racing. I had a look I also can’t find the free Invicta file it might have been a paid for one but I don’t actually remember paying for it 🤔
I don’t use the one on the throttle to be honest mate, tc don’t work on iRacing but if you play ACC then you can run TC on the throttle and that is very handy. You can also run other effects like road textures, rpm & gear shifts
I believe this is more for iRacing rather than ACC (as per your thumbnail), I don't think ACC is so sensitive to abs so it's not so much of a game changer there
Depends on car I think, the gt-3 cars in iRacing also not that sensitive with abs because they made that way and made to be able to slam on the brakes, road cars will always give much more feedback but it’s still very handy I think. On ACC people love binding the TC to the haptics on the throttle. 🤷🏼♂️

Salut Merci pour cette vidéo Une question Je joue sur lmu et les voitures n’ont pas d’ABS Est-ce que ces moteurs haptics vont transmettre des vibrations en cas de blocage des roues lors du freinage ? Merci de ta réponse Thierry
I am not sure about the telemetry that LMU provides but if you go into SimHub you can set brake pedal to vibrate if wheels lock up Front/Rear or both. I will load LMU tonight and check for you to see if it does work
I have only ever had a butkicker under my seat not under pedals but what I reckon under pedal plate you will feel all pedals and rig vibrate where with them mounted on pedals you only feel the effect on the corresponding foot ie ABS on brake and tc/traction loss on the throttle.
No the fanatec ones are small vibrating motors and only vibrate as in off or on you can’t really get different “feeling” from them. Haptics is a big weight that shakes and gives a much more detailed feedback.
Hey matey the simpro software will only control the shakers you will still need fanatec software for your pedals. The simpro software got an update recently and is very good with the haptics now 🙌🏻
both are great the SimPro software definitely easier to understand for anyone new to haptics. Also the Simpro software got updates with loads of new effects. I myself still use simhub it’s runs all my wheels and lights so it’s easier to just open one piece of software 🙌🏻 simhub is the more advanced of the 2
Depends matey if you exclusively drive with cars with no ABS then it won’t be much useful for you. You can map other things to the shaker like road texture, rpm or gear shifts but I would say the main benefit of these are for ABS on the brake and TC on throttle if sim allows it.
When using the Haptics on third party pedals, does this mean you have to use SimPro Manager by Simagic for the pedal? Or is it possible to use VRS software and simhub only for reactors?
@@TheSimCircuit but do I need to use simpro for the pedals? So is it require to plug in the data cables or would be the power cables of the haptics + simhub enough? So am I forced to use simpro for pedal calibration and adjustment? Or can I use VRS software + Simagic controller for haptics + simhub? Btw overall a great video!
@@gotaqui you don’t need simpro at all unless you are using SiMagic pedals. If you own VRS pedals then use the VRS software & SimHub will take care of the haptics.
Not stupid question matey. Abs is not a bad thing and using abs on cars that have it is great but ideally you don’t want to use to much of the abs as it will then make you slower. So braking hard and using lots of abs to not lock up your wheels will result in you exiting that corner slower even though you make the corner and apex. But say that same corner you brake a little earlier but with less pressure & the abs is still assisting you but not working hard to prevent locking up the wheels you should come out of the corner with more speed.
Hey matey yes you can I do that with the lmp3 or Porsche, in simhub switch on wheel lock. You can even pick if you just want to know if rear or fronts lock up
239 / 5.000 It's a pity I can't find a support to put the Simagic haptics on my SRP pneumatic piston pedals. The pedal manufacturer has a small Ali Express type vibration motor, but it seems to be of low quality. Any ideas?
Hey matey i am familiar with the SRP pedals used them at last years expo, they look amazing 🤩 i googled them and I see what you mean bout the Ali type shaker.
Can you remove the Ali shakers? All you will need is a hole to bolt a bracket to the pedals, you could possibly use the existing hole from the shakers they have fitted?
lol yes like I said any pedals see the link below 😉 cults3d.com/en/3d-model/gadget/simagic-p-hpr-haptic-pedal-reactor-mount-for-logitech-pedals-g923-g29-g920-g27-g
Does Simhub automatically overide Simpro Manager? Once haptic motors are connected they come up in Manager and are connected so is there a conflict between the two, do you have to disconnect the haptic motors from Simpro Manager in some way?
I normally don’t run simpro when I was using SimHub but yes I believe if both simhub and simpro is open it will use simhub over simpro. I will go and look tonight and make test to confirm this and get back to you 👍🏻
Strange, it’s hard to tell without seeing matey. What you can do is message me on FB or email me the photos of your settings and I can compare to mine.
Yes. Simhub captures Gran Turismo 7 telemetry and is fantastic for dash displays and shakers and wind. Plus nothing even gets close to the fidelity of Gran Turismo 7 with Fanatec DD+ out of the box perfection. Extremely realistic driveability. No deficits.

The whole analogy was genius!
I have one haptic motor attached to the bottom of my seat, configured for rpms and gear shift. And it’s gorgeus!! I am not gonna play without it anymore. And I am going to order two more motors for my Asetek pedals.
Hey new to this sim racing stuff and looking at getting a set of haptic pedals, how did u connect / Config it to ur seat :)
Very clever, I was actually thinking of doing something similar, did you extend the cable yourself on the haptic or buy an extension for it?
I have a butkicker but it’s too loud for me. Mounting a SiMagic haptic to seat sounds like a boss of an idea to me 🙌🏻
@@TheSimCircuit proper way I think is to buy DC extension cord.
Nobsound NS-20G Mini Digital Power Amplifier @ £65
StarTech 7.1 USB - External Sound Card @ £33
Neccessary cables @ £10
Dayton Audio EX32VBDS-4 @ £38 (each)
For under £190 its possible to have stereo based effects on pedals that operate over a much wider frequency range (with specially created effects).

Great so don’t even need a bracket on the HU ultimates 🙌🏻
@@TheSimCircuit nope just the round plate the motor mounts on. You just need two (or one) longer length m3 screws + nut/washer. I didn’t even need to remove the pedals.

10:00 in iracing use Wheel Slip instead of TC active. There's telemetry for that.
I am busy using wheel slip now because another viewer also pointed it out to me 🙌🏻 very helpful thank you 👍🏻
Can you share more info? is it on your throttle or brake? and when I add it as an effect I get a warning in simhub that iRacing doesnt provide telemetry for it.

Going to have to try this 🙌🏻 especially if you can feel the slip progressively. Do you mind sharing your SimHub settings for traction loss?

Love your channel! I have a Dbox system, so I'm thinking that these would be redundant for me......or would they?
Oh DBox is amazing would love one of them but to answer your question no I don’t think it would be redundant and I have briefly used motion simulators in the past. Because the shaker is connected directly to the pedals I assure you that you will feel it through your feet even if your dbox is already shaking you.
Won’t cost you allot so even if you don’t feel them you won’t loose much but I can say with a certain amount of certainty that once they mounted you won’t take them off 😉
Is it normal that the Haptic Motors are shortly vibrating when iRacing is loading a new track. Thanks for the great Videos.

Yes matey you can set that up on your throttle I believe road textures will cover curbs 👍🏻
I'm really interested in trying these on my Asetek Invicta break and throttle. Btw what kind of settings would you use with a throttle?

Une question
Je joue sur lmu et les voitures n’ont pas d’ABS
Est-ce que ces moteurs haptics vont transmettre des vibrations en cas de blocage des roues lors du freinage ?
Merci de ta réponse
Thierry
I am not sure about the telemetry that LMU provides but if you go into SimHub you can set brake pedal to vibrate if wheels lock up Front/Rear or both.
I will load LMU tonight and check for you to see if it does work
Merci
Can u have wheels locking on the brake? ABS seems useless in any other sim than iRacing.
Yes you can matey and it’s great for cars that don’t have ABS 🙌🏻
How much better is it then a buttkicker on the pedal plate?
I have only ever had a butkicker under my seat not under pedals but what I reckon under pedal plate you will feel all pedals and rig vibrate where with them mounted on pedals you only feel the effect on the corresponding foot ie ABS on brake and tc/traction loss on the throttle.
So this is similar to the Fanatec V3 pedals with vibration motors built in?
No the fanatec ones are small vibrating motors and only vibrate as in off or on you can’t really get different “feeling” from them. Haptics is a big weight that shakes and gives a much more detailed feedback.
Hi mate!
Does the software Simpro Manager also works for fanatec pedals ?
Hey matey the simpro software will only control the shakers you will still need fanatec software for your pedals. The simpro software got an update recently and is very good with the haptics now 🙌🏻
@@TheSimCircuitwhat do you recommend? The Simpro manager of Simhub?

I don't drive much on iRacing with ABS, mainly LMP2 and GTE. Worth getting for someone like myself still?
Depends matey if you exclusively drive with cars with no ABS then it won’t be much useful for you. You can map other things to the shaker like road texture, rpm or gear shifts but I would say the main benefit of these are for ABS on the brake and TC on throttle if sim allows it.
When using the Haptics on third party pedals, does this mean you have to use SimPro Manager by Simagic for the pedal? Or is it possible to use VRS software and simhub only for reactors?
You can use simpro but it’s very basic best bet is run via simhub. I explain it all in the software section of this video 🙌🏻
Stupid question, but why does knowing if you’re in ABS and at what percentage make you faster? Is it so you’re in ABS less?
Not stupid question matey. Abs is not a bad thing and using abs on cars that have it is great but ideally you don’t want to use to much of the abs as it will then make you slower. So braking hard and using lots of abs to not lock up your wheels will result in you exiting that corner slower even though you make the corner and apex. But say that same corner you brake a little earlier but with less pressure & the abs is still assisting you but not working hard to prevent locking up the wheels you should come out of the corner with more speed.
@@TheSimCircuit thank you so much, that explanation makes perfect sense to me!
Can you set it to vibrate when you lock the brakes for non abs cars?

My brother has these haptics for assetto corsa and they don't work
Is he on pc? Because these work for me and Assetto Corsa is supported. Using the simpro software by simagic is the easiest way but I prefer simhub as it offers more effects and can control shakers with more detail
@TheSimCircuit it is on pc. What I found out is on Sim hub. I set the game that it's going to be used on for content manager. Switched it back to the original assetto Corsa game and launched it from simhub. And now they work.
Then your brother is doing it wrong. Works for me both brake and throttle. Use simhub
@pmacnz I figured it out. Went into simhub again and instead of using content manager as the launcher. I used the original assetto corsa file. It all works perfect
Are you South African?
🙌🏻 yes, from Jozi
$95 to ship to the US......wow
Hey matey, SiMagic uses resellers they don’t really do much shipping themselves that’s why the price is high. Here is a link to page that will direct you to any of their US retailers 👍🏻

@@TheSimCircuit Thank you!!!
iracing is soooo ugly sim :D
But best online experience, most realistic and most challenging so doing it right is very rewarding. IRacing also don’t need a beast of a PC to run so it’s accessible to more people.
I agree graphics need improvement but they are very very slowly working on it 😂
Will these work on tclm pedals on ps5?
They can be fitted to the pedals but I have not seen anyone run them on PS5 as of yet
@@TheSimCircuit 👍👍ty
I've yet to get load cell pedals, what does the pedal feel like when the brakes lock up without the haptic motor?
Oh you don’t feel anything matey, load cell pedals are amazing as you learn how hard to push down on the pedal instead of focusing on the travel of the pedals but they give no feedback as to what happens on the sim/game so for that you need a transducer or shaker 🙌🏻
So basically what you're telling me is forget wasting an exta AUD$500 on P1000 pedals for my Simagic ecosystem and just get CSL V2 pedals with the Simagic haptic motor and save half a grand.
😂😂😂 sort of. The p1000 are fantastic pedals if you are wanting to upgrade but what I am showing here is that you don’t need to buy other pedals you can fit these to your current pedals 🙌🏻 I don’t have any experience with the CSL v2 pedals so I won’t be giving advice on them but I have heard good things about them 👍🏻
@@TheSimCircuit yeah what I said above seems like the smart thing to do.
The CSL V2 are the best bang for your buck pedal on the market according to many.
Looks like I can have best of both worlds. Save 500 and still have fantastic pedals with haptic brake feel
@@TheDoctor46vr go for it ☺️ enough left to maybe start looking at another wheel also 😜
