Every time I hear behind the scene stories of big powerful Hollywood figures like QJ and Oprah, I started to feel MJ was the most normal one💀 which is why they tried to paint him a weird one since he did not fit in their circle.

I'm pretty impartial toward celebrities since I don't know them, and I am always ready to believe the worst. And I have to admit that MJ was too innocent for Hollywood, at least through the Bad era. I do think the combination of his inner demons along with fame and fortune took an awful toll on him, but I'm still fascinated by his life and his talent.
He was the perfect scapegoat for decades, used to hide the real monsters.
His eccentric personality, his often poor judgement and his unusual appearance came in handy for this.

Quincy got fired after the Bad era as Michael didn’t wanna work with him anymore because there was a lot of tension during the production of Bad as Michael felt Quincy was taking too much credit for the work he did on the album. Michael wrote and produced 9 of the 11 tracks and wanted sole producer credit on those songs but Q wasn’t having it.

CC, you don't understand what a producer does. Quincy Jones Was vice president of Mercury records in 1963 puting out hit after hit. Michael could not read music, was not an engineer, did not choose the musicians, did not cut the checks so everyone get's paid, did not hire the right engineer to get the right kind of sound, did not bring in ROD Temperton to right some songs, Quincy hired some of the choreographers to show Michael how to dance on some of his videos, Quincy paid the hotel bills for some of musicians who did not live in the area. Michael didn't know how to do most of these things. Quincy hired the arrangers and changed some of the arrangements when they made a mistake.
Michael was a singer and a dancer.

The documentary was produced by his daughter, Rashida so I don’t remember much scandal other than him saying he wasn’t home much to be a husband or father. It was more so about his early life and his accomplishments. It was really good but if you’re looking for scandal this is not the one to see.

If you have audible or something, he has an autobiography I read years ago. It's really good. Quincy is so narcissistic he loves to talk about himself so you will get alot of information. The best parts (to me) are the early years. I'm a huge jazz fan so I was more interested in his years working with the jazz greats.

Yep. Michael didn’t wanna work with him anymore because there was a lot of tension during the production of Bad as Michael felt Quincy was taking too much credit for the work he did on the album. Michael wrote and produced 9 of the 11 tracks and wanted sole producer credit on those songs but Q wasn’t having it.
Someone told Vlad that Quincy was pissed because Michael was sneaking into the studio doing things himself lol. Teddy Riley said Quincy quit because he was getting tired.
