@coltonbradley9293 it already got box breathing which does more and stays for all shots and doesn't ramp up now adding another damage perk would make it broken btw no joke but rather it get something special or new I'm not for sure unless if they take away triple tap and give it 4rth time but who knows

It’s been buffed, the damage should close to what it originally was, and the blanket GL/RL reserve applied to it as well.
The real question is: is that still good enough with the power creeped world we live in now?
This kind of “fuck it” attitude they’ve approached with these weapons makes me hopeful of what the loot will look like in TFS
I agree they should have dropped the f-it attitude and brought back either the No-Feelings, the Oxygen SR3 or 14:26 the Cryptic Dragon from Destiny 1
Yeah I'm curious what this means, since this stuff has the potential to overshadow anything that's not a god roll coming up. Hopefully we're getting a lot of interesting new perks.

It’s 2024 - 6 Guardians are fighting the Megamind. Warlock is using Sunbracers and a Trace Rifle. Hunters are using Celestial Nighthawk and Midnight Coup. Titans are using Burning Maul as their super.
The group is discussing which option to use for DPS - Apex Predator or Edge Transit.

They didn't bring back Palindrome for the same reason the didn't bring back Kindled Orchid, too many hand cannon options and they needed to limit themselves.
I would have preferred to see either a season of the dawn weapon or another weapon from the black armory.
nah, Oxygen SR3 with an updated Meganeura perk would have made the most sense.

Idk hung jury is the only scout rifle where I consistently get hate mail for using it regardless of it having box breathing or not (I have an EP and box adept)

Chain reaction is getting buffed on heavy weapons to do 30% more damage.
It is getting nerfed on special weapons (15% smaller radius and 20% less damage) and they would like to put it on pellet shotguns.

Year 1 of D1; the blue version of the Strangers Rifle was one of the best guns in the game, don't sleep on it.
I don't ever remember there being a rare version, yeah there was the legendary one but I don't remember the rare one.
@@AtlasofSol If I remember correctly, with the release of Taken King the blue variant got turned into a purple one. No clue why they did it though.
@@nefien7342 going purple allowed to be on parody with other post taken King weapons, and have more perks I believe. Also don't want a blue weapon at the top of weapon usage. I will say near the end it didn't feel as good y1.

Yeah that's the only real issue I have with the choices they made. I'm happy they brought it back with Box Breathing at least, but it's just an odd one considering it so recently was obtainable by everyone from the nightfall, whereas at least the raid weapons are gated by needing to do a raid, if you even have the dlc they're from in the first place.

Remember they also said that you can get double perks in the third AND fourth columns meaning that you could potentially roll a vorpal/frenzy, chain reaction + surrounded/whirlwind/B&S/Logic, eager edge all enhanceable in tfs... oh sweet Neptune

Hammerhead not being S tier is wild, the perk combos on it are busted and make it the best MG by far
Doesn't really matter when nearly no one uses MGs.
Being "the best" of a sad archetype doesn't mean much. LMGs have no real reason to exist since Bungie wants to focus them on add-clear and doesn't let them be good at boss DPS for very long when it does happen.

I missed the Black Armory weapons so much, and while we aren't getting Spiteful Fang, Kindled Orchid (missed opportunity btw, loved having rampage/kill clip on mine), or No Feelings (don't ask, I never got one and I really want it), Blast Furnace alone really sells it for me. That thing was my *best friend* in my early days alongside that bow and hand cannon, all the way up until the Black Armory was sunset. I'd probably do anything to get the rest of the weapons back. I don't care if they're bad, those guns and I have an unbreakable bond! I will *never* dismantle the ones I have!
Time gated releases is a big L on an otherwise great update. Especially when you consider each weapon release will have less time to farm a limited edition roll.

@davidenriquez4582 No, only half of the weapons are available at release. The remaining will be released one per week. While the weapons will be farmable after Final Shape, the ornaments will go away. This also means less time to farm regular weapon rolls before Final Shape, and the limited edition ornament rolls, which appear to all be double perk rolls.

As a pve pulse rifle enjoyer I'm looking to get my hands on an Elsie's rifle with rewind rounds and destabilizing rounds, also if scouts ever get good for once a kinetic tremors firefly role doesn't sound to bad either

I'm happy I'm not the only one looking forward to Elsie's Rifle.
Between wanting to try more pulses in PvP and loving them in PvE (no matter what my fireteam says), I wouldn't mind ballin' with the OG legendary NTTE.
Plus, this is the only pulse in the game with Repulsor Brase/Destabilizing Rounds, so of course I'm making a run for it on day 1 with Edge Transit.
Props for being able to say Rewind Rounds clearly!

Luna's howl, recluse, and mountaintop are the first three I'm hard farming, after that I'll try to pickup a good hammerhead and edge transit but those three weapons are gonna be glorious

I also wasn't too excited for Hung Jury but...that kinetic tremors and precision instrument combo could be fire in pve. 6 shots to trigger tremors and 6 precision shots in a row for 20% damage bonus that applies to the tremors.

strangers rifle is also interesting because it can roll repulsor brace destabilizing rounds, which i dont think we have on a longer range primary, only specials and smgs up to this point. so something to keep in mind for things like gms where you need longer range guns.
Back in the day I used to play Gambit a LOT. I was the designated invader.
I had a max range Blast Furnace that had headseeker, and I could 2 burst people from a different time zone. I am going to be going for one again, I miss that thing.
Really interesting PvE options on Blast Furnace, too.
Keep in mind when they nerf Well of radiance and survivability in general surrounded will likely be a less popular option.
Magnificent Howl was sunset when Lucky Pants got its rework. With the new version of the perk, I’m interested in what it could do in PvE
I cant wait to get lunas howl. Jurassic green with hc+incandescent is one of my most used weapons, so having then enhanced on a handcannon is gonna be incredible
Imo blast furnace should be A tier minimum because it’s gonna be REALLY good in PvE. It and new hung jury are the first weapons that can roll a kinetic tremors in the 3rd column, I’m going for this with one for all for, and hung jury with precision instruments. As someone who wasn’t interested in kinetic tremors on anything before, now that it’s in the 3rd column I’m very excited for it.
I'm most excited about Luna's Howl (wish it was Not Forgotten but I'm still glad Luna's is back) I got Luna's Howl the season the infamous nerf to both weapons happened so I was never able to experience Mag Howl at its full power, and while it will never be the same, I do like that it's like the hawk-awesome which is my favorite exotic handcannon, so a legendary energy counterpart is really enticing me. Everything else is kinda on the back burner for me except maybe mountaintop for pvp. I wanna see what I can do with that extra momentum it seems to give. I'm still gonna grind out almost everything I can but Luna's and maybe Mountaintop are my top picks
After using the competetive pulse rifle, i think four-bursts have their place if their stability is focused on. Landing all four shots can be messy but since they make all the comp weapons stat monsters its like a laser that kills in like two shots.
Brother mountain with impulse + frenzy is gonna be wild. Nearly instant reload, fuck ton of handling and turbo fast missiles.
Honestly, I understand y'all complaints about Hung Jury, but I would recommend trying out rewind + explosive payload, could lead to infinite ammo, and if there's a anti champ mod for scouts, such as overload or unstop, you could theoretically stun them over and over again...
Though I also want to try out kinetic tremors + explosive payload on both Hung Jury and Midnight Coup...
Midnight for me is just a kinetic SunShot whilst Hung is probably going to ball gm content, if it gets a champ mod in TFS...
I have some Hung Jury's already but im intrested in the kinetic tremors explosive payload roll as its the first time its obtainable like that. Recluse for me is a must off of pure feel, have yet to find a void smg that feels like recluse in PvE, that and Hammerhead.
As a pve player, I'm very interested in kinetic tremors and one for all on blast furnace, but ultimately I'm just overjoyed that Hammerhead is back lol
I agree with this tier list 100% most excited for Elsie’s rifle for sure. When NTTE came out in D1, I always thought strangers rifle was better (and it was just a rare gun) lol
My favorite thing about these weapons is that it seems like all of these guns have good perk pops that there’s no one set perfect god roll for PvE on quite a few of them.
For me I want Repulsor Brace + Master of Arms Recluse and that should work really well on my hunter

I got a hung jury with cascade point+ kinetic tremors and I’m hanging onto it for anti champ scout. It’s Kinda fun.
Man this is going to get me to play destiny. I want every gun except for Hung Jury and Elsies rifle. So much farming in my future, man
Honestly, I think you may be underrating Succession in PvE a bit with how hard Recombination can slap a champion in that type of content. You Sunshot / Trinity / Graviton around, stun a champ, then lay into it with a max Recombination round and a rocket, champ’s probably nuked at that point.
Also (for the same reason I want Recombination Mountaintop) it’s a great lead into damage phases involving Bait and Switch weapons, just at longer ranges than Mountaintop (not sure which slaps harder of the two prior to damage testing)
Recomb mountain top… mountain top in general is going to be cracked and I’m here for it. That was the pinnacle weapon I rocked for the forsaken era. Leaving it on A teir was a mistake especially when bequest will still be better than falling guillotine.
@@Tigerwarrior200 bequest pulls 1.55 on surrounded , b&s frenzy vortex is around 1.45 , i see it as a nice upgrade over normal vortex 1.3 ( both b&s and whiralwind is close )

After trying various top tier perk combos, both Recluse and Mountaintop could use a buff in PvP. Especially Mountaintop.
I'm just pumped for elsie and hammerhead. Still got a god-roll hammer from my black armory days

I’m so happy blast furnace is coming back. Funny enough I was watching some of your videos and you kept bringing it up and I got said that my dumb ass dismantled mine. Sure it was a godroll but it was still dumb move on my part. Now I just need the ability to get the starless night ship and I’ll be golden

I haven’t heard anyone else mention it, but I want a recluse with frenzy and repulsor brace, as a voidlock main at heart, having frenzy which makes every weapon feel amazing, as well as repulsor at the same time, sign me up immediately

Look, I understand that hung jury may be here for the billionth time, but explosive and kinetic tremors on a scout means you can fight from litterally anywhere and still do well (I've been enjoying imperative with triple tap and kinetic for this reason). I think getting a scout with this perk combo will do great in high end content where you can sit back, and midnight coup with the same perks for when youre a little closer, as 140 HC's hit harder.
My only raid run, my only clear of DSC, gave me a Moving Target and Snapshot Succession.
The troll on Elsie's is funny. Literally every perk that any pulse can roll with.
I'd say Briarbinds Warlocks should still keep the Title around, if only because its origin trait, Classy Contender, helps improve Void Soul uptime.
Did some dmg testing eith edge transit over on d2foundry using custom pve encounter settings. If day 1 is a -20 cap per encounter as it was last year, ET with cascade and envious + BaS with 7 mag option (brings it to 21 with envious), you should be able to dish out 1.3 million dmg in less than 7 seconds in a day 1 raid
Fuck, made a very good point with Elsie’s Rifle being pared with Conditional for PVP.
the only weapon i’m not excited for is Hung Jury
Blast Furnace was the gun that gave me the love for 4 bursts, but none have truly felt like the OG.
Zen Moment + Headseeker on Elsie's Rifle could be a problem in PVP, gonna farm for that
I’m gonna go for recluse so hard because of the origin perk basically gives it demo(depending on percentages of the ability energy it gives) with void builds with the extra perks it can roll amazing gun

I do kind of wish we got to see mountaintop also roll with redirection but maybe that'd be too much. Ability to load up to 4 2x damage shots at once? I guess it'd be way less ammo efficient to use all those shots on red bars than recombination but I still think it would've been cool to see!
My first edge transit is envious assassin and bait and switch. Too bad I don't have spike grandes but after the nerf I'm happy with mag upgrades.

Master Of Arms would also feedback into Mountaintop with that Recombination roll. Mountaintop and Recluse look to be the same godly duo they were before
Not that it will bump Lunas Howl to S Tier, but Incandescent+Heal clip might be a great substitute for Sunshot/Zucchinis Bane in PVE once that rolls out.
As someone whos hasn't been able to do raids since eater of worlds i am excited for succession and forbearance but also I miss midnight coup so much. And then Luna's Howl is also top of my list

I would say recluse is gonna be high a low s tier since you can get a 30% dmg bonus (10%dmg bonus from weapon kills and 20% from melee/grenade kills THAT STACKS) from desperate measures so i see substance+ desperate measures being a goto roll
Overflow + Recom/ Harmony on Mt Top sounds pretty nutty. If only it had Envious Assassin in C3. But ALH is nothing to scoff at either

I'm really mad about this year's GG rolls, got the two Hullabaloo rolls I wanted in about 2 days and spent the rest of the event only rolling more hullabaloos and only two Titles that were trash. So the option of actually GETTING a recluse is something I'm looking forward to

No fusion rifles, honestly bummed. We get duplicates of others but not covering all types

Depending what you do changes what role you want on recluse frenzy in higher content and master of arms in lower since uptime great
We should've gotten Martyr's Retribution honestly than Dollar Store Forebearance aka Threebearance, even if the perks become enhaceable when FS drops it doesn't have VoW's origin trait which just makes this new version weaker than the other sure you could run healing nades on a character, but that's a few seconds you aren't mopping out ads while with the raid version you can continue to clear ads as you continously get healed.
Midnight Coup and Hung Jury being able to roll Explosive Payload + Kinetic Tremors means that KT will proc in 3 shots on both weapons. They will both be S-Tier PvE weapons.
If hammerhead is coming out last on May 21st, it's going to feel so nice when it does

It exists on igneous but trials is abysmal to farm
Demo chain on forb makes wave frames complete
Even with double damage perks guillotine being a vortex means it will unfortunately still be outdamaged by bequest so only decent roll is eager vorpal as a direct replacement for other half
Mtop movement is good already so this buff will be wild when paired with heat rises, auto loading and either vorpal frenzy or recomb
Edge transit new damage meta
putting succession on the c tier is the biggest non end game player take, is an a tier one of the best snipers

@@controlleronpceasywin2978 No it really isn't. Snipers aren't even good for dps in the first place. If you were to use one for whatever reason supremacy and volta bracket are both better. The succession from into the light isnt even meaningfully different from the one in the raid. So if you are already an end game player than this one is of little importance.
@@Thotacus the best snipers for dps are supremacy and succession, volta maybe 3rd but not better than succession since it does a lot less damage per shot, obv atm the only sniper you use in pve for dps rotations is izanagi for avg players don't know what a dps rotation is

cascade will run out around 9 or so grenades anyway, but you could still switch to a sniper or something and reproc it after a few shots probably.
Forbearance: Demo, Wellspring or Chainreaction with the origin trait could be good for ability regen.
Succession: Discord, Recombination would be good for a Stacking buff to burst majors without spending ammo.
Fallen Guillotine: Vorpal, Frenzy with Surrounded, Bait and Switch.
Midnight Coup: Explosive Payload, Shoot to Loot with Kinetic Tremors, One for All. Explosive could good for both Kinetic Tremors might proc with less shots, Shoot to Loot Kinetic is a classic, Explosive and One for All is just damage.
Recluse: Repulsor Brace and Destabilizing Rounds. Subsistence and Master of Arm.
Mountain Top: Auto-Loading and Frenzy or Recombination.
Edge Transit: Cascade Point and Bait and Switch. Though Chain Reaction and Deconstruct could be interesting for add clear, could possibly make an infinite ammo heavy.
Hammer-Head: Rampage and Killing-Tally or Onslaught. Destabilizing Rounds could be interesting instead of Rampage.
Blast Furnace: Kinetic Tremors and One for All.
Luna's Howl: Heal Clip or Subsistence and Incandescent or Heal Clip Magnificent Howl.
Hung Jury: Kinetic Tremors, Explosive Rounds or One for All. Same reasons as Midnight Coup.
Elsie's Pulse: Repulsor Brace and Desperate Measures or Destabilizing Rounds.
Alot of interesting rolls on these weapons. Trying to get unique rolls on the returning raid weapons.
Whirlwind blade better than bait and switch unless the DPS phase is short enough that you don't need to reproc multiple times

Glad someone else saw the heal clip on Luna's and repulsor and destabilizing on Elsie's
I'm pretty sure/hopeful that the hammerhead rampage and killing tally is actually a 73% buff bc of the way damage stacking is multiplicative
Really wish that weapon stream happened last week; I wouldn't have spent so much time farming for the slammer which I'm never going to use now.

Eager Edge + Cold Steel has PvP utility, but the reason you stated is exactly why they didn't showcase the weapons. They have to keep you on that hamster wheel.
