Precious scars solar and switch to Pyrogeal for supers works well. Can switch even during a round using the bungee build sets since both are solar. Also buried bloodline with Orpheus Rig is really good
Sol Invictus over Roaring Flames for Pyro damage boss phases is throwing. I proc roaring all day long with thermite then consecration for adds in front then I immediately pop super maul for boss, utilizing artifact perk to weaken boss with maul. Worked even faster dude if you run ThunderLord it’s the start me and my team use we have the well back halfway through thunder lord finally dusted back off since the RON planets boss lol, need catalyst tho
For those who are good at using it, use strongholds for the tormenters (preferably with some form of other healing). Just block with very occasional attack to act as an infinite decoy while the rest of wave can get cleared by your teammates. I don't know how well it will work in levels(35+) because I haven't got a tormenter that late but I wasn't really taking damage.
I am a huge fallen sun star fan but I have been using getaway artist over it. Instant amplification and with mods/fragments the amount of ionic traces you generate makes getting additional energy from fallen pointless. Getaway gives you the faster and higher damage arc soul and auto amplified, and when you use the arc soul ability connected to your well, its restarts the counter for the higher damage soul instead of replacing it. I use blinding grenades even tho they are a little harder to land because the cool down is the lowest of all grenades and they will stun both overload and unstoppable. Weapon of choice being delicate tomb for increased ionic traces and insane ad clear.
My onslaught build with randoms as a titan. 1043 kills 260 orbs made, flawless. Rufus fury (threadling), buried bloodline (proc devour), neomuna strand LMG w/threadling. Exotic was severance enclosure, make sure you’re strand w/fragment that makes threadling after finishers and makes them stronger. Build a decoy first and then turrets. Easy legend level 50. For exploder thralls just super them (suspend)as a melee is suicidal (w/o resist x3 from stasis hunter).
@@nathanroyster1324 People can't think for themselves, they just look up guides and follow the meta rather than using their heads and build-crafting with other things. There are a lot of off-meta options that work great.
This has basically been my primary build all season. Soooo much fun and the knockback from the SE explosion functions as a short-duration CC. I run Quicksilver Storm, Indebted Kindness, and whatever heavy best suits the situation.
Fellas, one option on the Ionic Trace build is a fusion rifle called Delicate Tomb Collecting Ionic Traces lets it jolt and you'll be showered with em since the gun itself also generates ionic traces the catalyst also partially refills the mag when you collect an ionic trace If u dont have Indebted Kindness, could be a fun alternative to run
Imo it's just flat out better than Indebted Kindness. Remember that Delicate Tomb gains jolt after every ionic trace you collect, in addition to reloading itself. It's literally a better voltshot, because it doesn't require kills to proc.
for the Fallen Sunstar build, use ColdHeart instead. Loads of more Ionic Traces than with Indebted Kindness. Use Special Ammo Finder & Scout on your helmet.
Bro something I tried that I haven’t seen anyone do was absolutely nutty. Run 3 strand warlocks. 2 with a threading build and one suspend. Then boss room 2 strand with veil and one well. Absolutely nutty. Really nutty on tormented rounds after boss too
In this, I very much liked the mention of alternatives to Indebted Kindness. (As I do not have one. ) One forgotten Sidearms having Voltshot: BRIGAND'S LAW from Season of Plunder.
If you didn’t pay for the dungeon for indebted you can always craft subjunctive from the seasonal weapon pool if you have the pattern. That comes with volt and I believe perks that can help with ability generation
Note about void hunters - Orpheus rig will refund up to half your super even if you collect orbs before it fills up the first half. So feel free to pick up orbs unlike cross said
For the Arc Lock build, can you get by without Indebted Kindness? Path of Least Resistance could be good since it's special and has voltshot, and there's some synergy with delicate tomb too jolting targets.
Calibans hand has been my favorite hunter build since it came out. I'm spamming the knives on ads and just having such a blast doing it. I rock that with the vex just cause it's my favorite weapon
Everyone completely forgot about the stormtrance super for warlocks, which is the best add clear super in the game. Pair it with crown of tempest, and you can solo waves without firing a shot. 1000+ kills by wave 50. Weapon wise, I suggest running undercurrent with voltshot and the prospector
26:04 just fyi Whisper of Shards only works on stasis crystals like the ones from glacial grenade, not on frozen enemies. Can just use verglas instead of scepter
For warlock, I feel like stormtrance super is slept on. With crown of tempest and certain fragments and mods. The super has a long duration, especially with tons of red bars. You generate a ridiculous amount of orbs. You get high ability uptime because of crown of tempest. Weapon wise i chose trinity ghoul and hullabaloo because of great aoe for ad clear. I'm usually top for kills around 900-ish for the entire run. For wave bosses i swap to well-lock preset.
I have been having a hell of a lot of fun and effectiveness with Warlock. Swarmers, the two strand artifact mods mentioned for unraveling rounds and threadlings from damaging unraveled targets, tusk of the boar with hatchling, hatchling nades. Those little things put in work and spawn like rabbits breeding it feels like.
for final warning with strand hunter i found it very fun to play with speedloader slacks. final warning feels a lot better when you can reload it faster and you can output more damage this way too. plus youre giving teamates the buff as well.
Wave frames work amazing with the stasis titan build. You get the damage from the wave and it shatters all the crystals in its path. I don't have a forbearance (yet) so Ive been using explosive personality bc of the synergies with the artifact mods
Quick question for the first Titan build. Why use Salvations grip for the exotic? Why not Verglas Curve or Cryosthesia? That way you can take advantage of the artifact mods AND use Champ stun weapons WHILE making more crystals more often.
Been using a similar arc warlock but I crafted a subjunctive with enhanced voltshot and reload speed since I can’t get a voltshot IK. Works pretty well
I am using abeyant leap and for the second aspect I have banner of war. Also using the strand world pool machine gun with demo/onslaught, conditional finality and indebted kindness. You can pretty much suspend everything infinitely with your barricade and shackle grenade.
just flat out better imo. people seem to forget that Delicate Tomb jolts on hit after every ionic trace you collect, making it a better voltshot especially for high health enemies because it doesn't require a kill to proc.
Been rocking O Rig hunter for years, hands down my fav build. You CAN get your entire super back like you could in year one. Just make sure to rock ashes to assets and a vortex nade. Run the fragment that makes your nade last longer. As soon as you tether throw your nade at it, itll suck all the enemies in and generate the second half of your super if your nade kills enough enemies. Dont even fire your weapon, that nade is like a mini nova bomb when enemies are in a tether. As cross would say, blow thy ability load.
can someone explain to me why Cross said to make sure to step outta the well to shoot your nighthawk? i've heard the advice before but ive never known why
Oh damn I had no idea he used the build I submitted for a Bulld Battle lol that’s awesome! I’m currently using the Mothkeeper Ex Diris build and it RIPS!
I can vouch for Ager's Scepter, I decided to try it 2 days ago in Onslaught than all of sudden i couldn't take it off, Ager's is amazing for holding down those lanes and controlling the adds.
The “tether everything” build has been my go-to for years. Orpheus Rig has been a workhorse since vanilla, and even after multiple nerfs it’s still the premier Nightstalker exotic of choice. It’s so good the rest of the build doesn’t even matter, and neither do your weapon choices. These activities are becoming so incredibly add-dense that a Tether Hunter is almost a necessity at all times.
I will say, if you don't have Fallen Sunstar for Arc Warlock, Crown of Tempests is a totally valid substitute. It may not give the ability regen to your teammates, but it still refreshes your abilities like crazy. Definitely don't skip on it if you don't have Fallen Sunstar. I honestly believe that Coldheart is really useful with this build as well. Not only does have the surge damage for Onslaught, it also generates Ionic Traces insanely good. Another super good build I've found also pairs into Trace Rifles really well. Using Solar Warlock, you'll need Dawn Chorus and Prometheus Lens. Again, not only are you dipping into the Trace Rifle buff, you're generating ability energy constantly, just like CoT and Coldheart. The constant scorch damage from PL is activating DC, which is refilling your melee, which when used, procs DC again. Prometheus Lens's catalyst also gives you Incandescent, which even further spreads the scorch damage for DC. You can easily put out insane amounts of ad clearing with this build. I also found using the Stasis sidearm Senuna SI6 with Envious Assassin and Headstone and the Solar Heavy grenade launcher Marsilion-C with Envious Assassin and Incandescent goes VERY well with this. Getting all of the rapids kill from PL and Marsilion overfill the HELL out of Senuna, which already has a really good magazine size for a sidearm to begin with. It has a base of 30 rounds, and with Envious Assassin, it overfills the mag to ALMOST 100 BULLETS. Even if you run low/out of ammo on PL and/or your heavy, you can EASILY clean up stuff with all of that sidearm ammo. This build deals with all Champion types, from both Solar Radiant AND Senuna having Headstone. You're also debuffing everything when you use the right Artifact mods. PLUS, you can easily swap to a damage dealing Legendary heavy with surges to make up Boss DPS.
"You cant just take every single build and put smash on the end of it" yes you can Cross, yes you can. Also replace Fallen Sunstar with Vesper. Its crowd control is a million times better plus it chunks
Everybody uses sunshot for solar builds but tommys matchbook is heavily slept on and find it better than sunshot you just need to make sure you have restoration often
@@ryanrich7133there’s no such thing as this is “ x persons build”. they are just builds, if people own builds you can’t use 99% of exotics and legendaries in the game.
A team comp my friends I run is two wells (or a stasis lock) with phoenix fire and tether with Orpheus rig, just to constantly cycle orbs and grant survivability and damage through well, as well as debuffs, further damage, and field control with tether. We have our supers at the start of every round and almost nothing shoots back. We each get our supers about three times a round too. We each run sunshot. We really only start experiencing any difficulty around wave 40. And even then, it’s really only when tormentors decide to spawn during the round of all knights. Hahaha Probably something many others have done too and not at all original, but nonetheless it’s crazy at speeding through rounds to get to boss phases.
It feels very good to be able to rock different builds now. This season has been all about solar and no reason to run anything else so sunshot and polaris lance is the only thing I've used. I decided to slap together a Orpheus rig and was very pleased with being able to have my super constantly even with only 60 intellect it was easy to get back, constant viotile and weaken, smoke bombs, if I was in a tight spot I could be invis and dip to another safe place. I have enjoyed it and I missed playing void. Also a stasis warlock or titan helped a TON. I've enjoyed onslaught a whole lot I just don't play legend very much, it gets pretty rough after round 30 and lfg blueberries will leave you hanging often
The generic Stacey's Curves build works really well here, and Cross didn't mention it, but if you ditch Agers for Verglas you can block off certain lanes/ deploy your own cover if things get hecktic(disable mines). With the Osmio Turrets, throw them behind the lanes so that enemys are getting slowed/frozen as they enter the lane; it helps your shatters chain a lot deeper. That being said, you're going to be drowning in orbs and grenade energy so it's very forgiving. Most people are rocking solar this season and with stasis being able to stun both Unstops and Overloads, people will like having you around.
Witherhoard, recluse, void spike nade gl, tether, gyrfalcon. Double void reserves. Max mobility. Carried me to multiple 50 clears, fairly low stress to proc.
I’ve been using voidlock with verity’s brow, chillclip riptide, graviton lance and any heavy. The idea is to either get gravlance kills and throw a charged vortex or outright throw the vortex, get grenade kills and proc devour, get volatile rounds on gravlance, decimate everything with it, get your grenade back with devour, and loop it again. The grenades weaken tough enemies which makes shredding even easier. Meanwhile you get your health back on any kill. It’s really fun and potent. Your grenade kills power your weapons and your weapons power your grenades and you can spam both. Really cool synergy
For Non-boss waves I've been recently running Verity's Brow on voidlock with buried bloodline, edge transit, and any kinetic. You can get x5 Death throes incredibly fast while also enabling your buffed vortex nade to double its damage output (similar to a vortex nova bomb), while increasing your teammates grenade charge by 10x for 5 seconds. It's so potent, even in legend. As for the aspects: Feed the void and chaos Accelerant, and for fragments, Undermining, Remnants, Expulsion, and Instability. Try it out, it wont disappoint.
I gotta bring this up but using Felwinters Helm + Double special (using New Pacific Epitaph and Wave splitter) is SO GOOD in this activity. It allowed me to 1) Generate limitless amounts of special ammo for myself and teammates and 2) suppressed and weakened entire hoards of ads, which gives you and teammates time to throw batteries (its even easier with how many orange bars there are to finish) The only issue is the lack of anti-champion capabilities other than overloads.
With stasis walls, you can use them to manipulate enemy pathing, my friend would Slap hoarfrost barricades and howls around so that all the enemies fumbled into our hunter’s tether so we could do some orb feedback shenanigans to almost always have our supers
I found a couple of experienced hard hitting randos on the team finder to make a run at the Shiny emblem completing all 50 waves on legendary. I used my trusty Banner Titan with Precious Scars (Survivability up the ass, I only died once) while they used their meta loadout Hunters. Our strat that got us our Shiny Emblems was to save our points and put them into the decoys turning them all into shaxx (Forget about the tripwires) while I stayed close to the ADU mopping up any enemies that get close with my Thin Precipice Sword (I'd swap the sword for Nade Launcher going into Boss room). For the Boss room you are mostly safe if you stay near the back of the room. It was a nice challenge actually. Bungie did really well with Into the Light.
For my Behemoth build, I used the same fragments but felt Hoarfrost wasn't really needed so I used Precious Scars. Worked really well with Raconteur, Undercurrent with demo voltshot and Salvations Grip
Stasis build, 2x stasis turrets, Salvations Grip Exotic heavy grenade launcher & new pacific epitah grenade launcher to shatter everything made my onslaught run a pretty chilled and sweatless one.
For the void locks who want a fun build: Warlock: Void Jump: Blink Grenade: Suppression Void Melee: Pocket Singularity Rift: Healing Super: Nova Bomb Vortex Fragments: Fees the Void & Child of the Old Gods Aspects: Undermining, starvation, domineering, cessation Primary: Sniper/Fusion rifle Exotic Weapon: Collective Obligation Heavy: Machine Gun/Linear Armor Mods: Your choice/helps regen abilities Exotic Armor: Astrocyte Verse Build Strat: Use the suppression grenade to weaken and suppress enemies. Attack and shoot with collective. Use blink near enemies to cause them to be volatile, shoot enemies to leech effects. Use all 3 abilities (or 2, minus volatile) for ad clear and control. For boss encounters, stock up on 3 leech and proc on boss, while fast swapping between heavy for primary damage and then primary for secondary damage. I definitely enjoy this build
I know every time Cross brings up Ager Scepter, it gives him PTSD because of how rare it was for him to get that catalyst and his face looking defeated every time he couldn’t get the catalyst to drop in Astral Alignment. I remember that chat was putting their bets on if Cross was gonna get that catalyst on this run 😭
Out of curiosity does anyone know anything about the boss fight where after you defeat the boss like 5 tormentors spawn and you have like a super boost and you just have to survive. I’ve had it happen once and haven’t gotten it since
Orpheus rig with Bloodline sidearm is so good over 800 kills, over 400 orbs for the team, and spamming Super. It's has been my favorite build hands down.

I proc roaring all day long with thermite then consecration for adds in front then I immediately pop super maul for boss, utilizing artifact perk to weaken boss with maul. Roaring Flames is the only way to go with Pyrogale for Boss room. I get my maul back immediately with a good wellock and hunter too so I'm able to get two supers off almost every single time.
Yes, exactly what I've been looking for!
At 22:00 when you picked up the battery instead of the tangle and threw it, I felt that. Glad it’s not just me 😂
Drink every time Cross says "Literally"
You’re paying my hospital bill. Come get me.
I have been loving the behemoth coverage on the channel since build battles started
I loved Phoenix Protocol for the boss fights, my team would sometimes do enough damage that i would have a second one ready before the first runs out
Worked even faster dude if you run ThunderLord it’s the start me and my team use we have the well back halfway through thunder lord finally dusted back off since the RON planets boss lol, need catalyst tho
Strongholds are just amazing in general. I used it with a valiant charge throne cleaver
Would have been nice to have the diagram for the first hunter build like you did for the strand build….
I have no idea why more people dont use strand severence enclosure. It is goated for add clear on titan. Havent tried these weapons but def will now
@@nathanroyster1324 People can't think for themselves, they just look up guides and follow the meta rather than using their heads and build-crafting with other things. There are a lot of off-meta options that work great.
Yup I’m a numbers nerd and love build crafting. Can’t wait for Final shape to fine tune my guardians !
my thoughts exactly. im a warlock main and made this build for my titan and it made legend mode a cakewalk. @aztecross
This has basically been my primary build all season. Soooo much fun and the knockback from the SE explosion functions as a short-duration CC. I run Quicksilver Storm, Indebted Kindness, and whatever heavy best suits the situation.
Fellas, one option on the Ionic Trace build is a fusion rifle called Delicate Tomb
Collecting Ionic Traces lets it jolt and you'll be showered with em since the gun itself also generates ionic traces
the catalyst also partially refills the mag when you collect an ionic trace
If u dont have Indebted Kindness, could be a fun alternative to run
Imo it's just flat out better than Indebted Kindness. Remember that Delicate Tomb gains jolt after every ionic trace you collect, in addition to reloading itself. It's literally a better voltshot, because it doesn't require kills to proc.
for the Fallen Sunstar build, use ColdHeart instead. Loads of more Ionic Traces than with Indebted Kindness. Use Special Ammo Finder & Scout on your helmet.
Not worth the special ammo it uses imo
@@awesomeness5126 Say that to the titans with an infinite energy source.
@fulgerion ah yes my bad I forgot that fallen sunstar is a titan exotic
The stasis build was super good. Got a thousand kills and it was fun. Most fun I’ve ever had with my titan lmao.
Bro something I tried that I haven’t seen anyone do was absolutely nutty. Run 3 strand warlocks. 2 with a threading build and one suspend. Then boss room 2 strand with veil and one well. Absolutely nutty. Really nutty on tormented rounds after boss too
This is a scammer for anyone looking at this dont talk to them
In this, I very much liked the mention of alternatives to Indebted Kindness. (As I do not have one. ) One forgotten Sidearms having Voltshot: BRIGAND'S LAW from Season of Plunder.
I’ve been using build one for warlock for like 2months now can confirm it’s a top tier build and really it is for almost every activity
Listening to this while snowboarding is the nerdiest thing I’ve done
These videos are about to get super creative and insane with final shape dropping. Excited to see them 😊
If you didn’t pay for the dungeon for indebted you can always craft subjunctive from the seasonal weapon pool if you have the pattern. That comes with volt and I believe perks that can help with ability generation
i got my first 50 legend completion with 3 void tether hunter. never seen something go smoother than this.
The final warning has been my main weapon ever since it came out. It is amazing.
For the orpheus rig build, why do the legs have two 'void weapon surge' when it runs only solar weapons (and riptide)?
Vesper of radiance, chaos reach, Trinity ghoul. That arc soul be doing work
Hallowfire heart is fantastic for use with sunshot. 350% grenade and melee recharge, and chain sunspots with sunshots chain explosions
Really trying to get the Navigator for infinite grapple melees on strand titan. Huge dps without any guns
for final warning with strand hunter
i found it very fun to play with speedloader slacks. final warning feels a lot better when you can reload it faster and you can output more damage this way too. plus youre giving teamates the buff as well.
final warning is crazy ive used it instead of quicksilver since lightfall came out. i even have 100 kills in pvp with it 💀
Wave frames work amazing with the stasis titan build. You get the damage from the wave and it shatters all the crystals in its path. I don't have a forbearance (yet) so Ive been using explosive personality bc of the synergies with the artifact mods
Delicate Tomb is so underrated. Stick that with a Fallen Sunstar build and just watch the carnage unfold. 👌🏾👌🏾
Collective Obligation and Gyrfalcons has been doing really well for me
I really want to try a theadling build with nezarec’s sin and buried bloodline but I don’t have bloodline yet
thoughts on using delicate tomb instead of indebted kindness for the 3rd warlock build?
just flat out better imo. people seem to forget that Delicate Tomb jolts on hit after every ionic trace you collect, making it a better voltshot especially for high health enemies because it doesn't require a kill to proc.
Necrotic Thornlock had me laughing my ass off In legend Onslaught 😂😂😂
I've been using Osmiomancy Warlock but I'm going to give that a try tonight.
can someone explain to me why Cross said to make sure to step outta the well to shoot your nighthawk? i've heard the advice before but ive never known why
when u use golden gun u need to be radiant, not the same radiant in the well because it didn't work
oh gotcha, tysm!
ive been using the poison gauntlets from warlock (forgot its name) with the ostea striga in a strand build pretty stronk
Oh damn I had no idea he used the build I submitted for a Bulld Battle lol that’s awesome! I’m currently using the Mothkeeper Ex Diris build and it RIPS!
Coldheart is so good for ad clearing especially with the fragment that allows it to blind them.
I use this with the Striker subclass & syntho. It absolutely works and is incredibly effective at blinding everything!
for titan, I've been using strand severence enclosure. Fantastic for add clear
Thank you for the builds..have you used the ostero smg in onslaught???
For hunter, I ran stasis with renewal grasps and verglass curve and it carried all the way through legend. Worth giving a shot!
These activities are becoming so incredibly add-dense that a Tether Hunter is almost a necessity at all times.
i like the hulk reference ...
I-ce SMAAASH
Just built the strand hunter, 50 waves done!
Cross, I love your videos man. All that work is not unnoticed! Amazing work! 🙌
What if you used a strand lmg on titan with all the buffs for more add clear? You can switch to tractor if demos spawn or on boss
I've been a Deadfall main for years and I finally feel vindicated
"You cant just take every single build and put smash on the end of it" yes you can Cross, yes you can. Also replace Fallen Sunstar with Vesper. Its crowd control is a million times better plus it chunks
Everybody uses sunshot for solar builds but tommys matchbook is heavily slept on and find it better than sunshot you just need to make sure you have restoration often
I prefer it too
Final warning strand build has been my favorite pve build for a while. A lot of people sleep on that little Titanfall sidearm.
I just tried it yesterday because I just got it. Holy fuck that little bastard is a beast.
It’s plunder’s build. That guy just submitted it like it was his own
With the amount of orbs orpheus rig poops out for unraveling rounds, using FW on void is guaranteed to wreck legend mode and also melt your gpu
Hahaha
Probably something many others have done too and not at all original, but nonetheless it’s crazy at speeding through rounds to get to boss phases.
With arc warlock delicate tomb is another fantastic weapon that does really well at making ionic traces
And cold heart. The overcharged trace rifles make cold heart very good
I’ve been using voidlock with verity’s brow, chillclip riptide, graviton lance and any heavy.
Did you say "step OUTSIDE of a Well of Radiance?" When trying to hit with a Celestial Nighthawk?
Precious scars is insanely good
Stasis build, 2x stasis turrets, Salvations Grip Exotic heavy grenade launcher & new pacific epitah grenade launcher to shatter everything made my onslaught run a pretty chilled and sweatless one.
For the void locks who want a fun build:
Warlock: Void
Jump: Blink
Grenade: Suppression
Void Melee: Pocket Singularity
Rift: Healing
Super: Nova Bomb Vortex
Fragments: Fees the Void & Child of the Old Gods
Aspects: Undermining, starvation, domineering, cessation
Primary: Sniper/Fusion rifle
Exotic Weapon: Collective Obligation
Heavy: Machine Gun/Linear
Armor Mods: Your choice/helps regen abilities
Exotic Armor: Astrocyte Verse
Build Strat: Use the suppression grenade to weaken and suppress enemies.
I’ve had it happen once and haven’t gotten it since
I love the Titan stasis build. I too use the indebted kindness with permeability! You could have stasis rockets!! Amazing!!
Orpheus rig with Bloodline sidearm is so good over 800 kills, over 400 orbs for the team, and spamming Super. It's has been my favorite build hands down.
