I'm a final yr Ayurveda student , according to the ancient texts Sesame oil is considered as the best among oils. Great to see you've done a video on this. Coconut oil I don’t recommend because it makes my hair dryer than it is so I think people should use it and then see what happens but I don’t like coconut oil
What is amazing is western nations r adopting Indian and other eastern methods to learn and improve their knowledge and develop new ideas but ppl here r ignorant and adopting expensive quick fixes with side effects.
Great video! Just a note, any animal study is NOT a clinical study. It is pre-clinical. Clinical studies are intervention studies with humans, which I hope they do soon based on these pre-clinical results!

i don't know about sesame oil but neem oil should NOT be applied on belly button that too during pregnancy as it is very hot in nature which is not good for the baby.
My dad used it his entire life and has glorious hair....hes 79 this yr. His hairline is perfect and is still pretty much black. Were indian by race and he has hair oil baths everyday for 10 minutes i.e rubs it in his hair and waits 10 mins before wiping it off with a tissue or using shikakai powder( soap powder) to wash it off during his bath. I nvr used it much cuz i didnt like the smell...i regret now....ive started using the oil now tho.....the smell is pretty alright tbh...wish i had continued doing it from childhood....

In my case sesame oil sure has decreased my hair whitening (I've used it externally only though). My blood pressure usually stays low so I'll make sure that it will be good for me before adding it my diet. Thanks a lot for the detailed information.

Dont do this Mistake. Both Gingelly And Sesame Oil Come from Sesame Seeds but in different Process. Gingelly oil is used for cooking and Sesame Oil is Used for Hair. So Ask the ShopKeeper Sesame Oil and Dont buy If it says Gingelly Oil.

Not daily. Once or twice a week max. Make sure Sesame oil is edible grade. Some Gingelly oil is only for lighting lamps and other uses. Those r too thick and not very pure for consumption or application on scalp and skin.

This helped my sister frizzy dry hair within a week. Watch your diet, cut out sugar n drink water. Dry hair signifies poor health n diet.

I use this as a hair oil when my hair is dry and It absorb well without feeling oily like coconut or jojoba oil
