Kyle has been such an inspiration on Instagram over the years! His DIY work, his positive vibe, his approach to combining vintage and modern studio aesthetics... really happy to finally see Tiny Tape Room on this channel!
We love Kyle! He designed our home studio so well, & we track in it every day here in town. Saw Cody’s Atmos room last week too…great studio & great video 🤘🏼
I decided to renovate a home studio this September and I watched all the home studio videos you shot. It's fantastic! It's a great inspiration for me. Really thank you for making these!
Hey! Awesome Studio. When you use those 1176's for vocals, what are your typical settings? Just got one and am trying to figure it out - would be awesome to know a typical starting point. I know the settings are set in stone but kinda want to know if I am close lol
Fast attack and fast release if you want to add aggression and energy to the vocals (you’ll probably need a deesser right after because the vocal tends to get really spitty), slow attack and fast release if you want a more transparent type of vocal
Love ya studio tours BUT its mostly guitar / live instrument based ones innit dudes 😏. Would love more electronic set ups also, would balance it out a bit. Samplers, drum machines, modular, synths, euro rack etc etc. Coz not everyone is into a bass player, a guitar player and a drum set 😉.. Love ya content tho as I say and all the best to u buddy… cheers
I hear ya. I’ve done some really solid tours of studios like that, Matt Mahaffey, Tony Anderson, Marc Scibilia, Michael Whittaker, Jim Daneker, John Strandell, Austin Canon, Matt Boda, Zane Callister, Atlantic, Jared Logan to name a few. Not a ton of big synth based studios here in Nashville.
Wait... are all these Nashville home studios "illegal" or something? Total BS. It's their property they should be able to do what they want with it, ESPECIALLY if it's not bothering anyone.
This is not true. Verified it with moog themselves. The difference is whether your in uk or us. In the Uk they (the company) say "oo" in US they say "oh".
Just a thought, your studio tour are a bit too short..and we love them! If you could make them at least 45 mn long it would be really cool. Take good care!

Followed this guy on instagram since maybe 2016, so glad I get to see a comprehensive tour of the space I've been inspired by for so long!

Wow… what a terrible neighbor lol
All of a sudden gets bothered by something he didn’t even notice was going on. What a hero.
I've been waiting for y'all to get to these guys! Such an awesome studio setup!
Same! So cool to finally go and see it. Hope you dig it.
Loved to see the man behind the scenes, I’ve followed tiny tape room on social media for a while and was glad to see he’s such a nice guy!
So glad to see this, been hoping for this one for awhile!
Thank you Andrew, this is the first studio I’ve seen that totally sucks me in and make me want to travel to use. Sick setup 🤙🏾

Same ! Except I will this coming September
I used to have a Trident Series 24. Very cool consoles. Easy to upgrade channels and the power supply. Definitely has a vibe when pushed a bit.
Great video! Thank you Sweetwater for sponsoring our favorite channels! It's one of the reasons I only buy from Sweetwater!
I sang your praises to my Sweetwater advisor this week (purchased my first cloudlifter, gonna get that SM57 back in my signal chain!).
That space feels so cozy, man. Great tour as always, Andrew!!
Trace audio is great! Just got an awesome 24 channel stage box from them. Built like a tank.
This is a great studio! Thank you for the tour :)
Thanks Laney!
Really enjoyed the video. Keep up the great work.

@@andreisidro6544 Thanks!
The chair at 24:00 is identical to my kitchen set, really solid but definitely not too comfortable.
Blue Dog Power Supplies from UK, Plymouth. The name of business owner is Tim. :) Very nice and helpful guy!
Beautiful studio and setup. That neighbor was a selfish beast.
The trident...is my favorite.
So awesome! GREAT tour!
curious about how the Trio 6 Bes sound horizontal in that narrow space...

That is quite lovely

I know I don't understand ?
Trident 24's are from the late 80s.
The earliest Trident (A Range) were made in 71.. no 60s Tridents.
I used to have a Trident Trimix.. great brand
Cody is the best!❤
Dam, why are those giveaways always US only? We like Microphones too here in switzerland ;)
Beautiful space!
ironically the juno wasnt even used in stranger things at all 😂😂still glad anyways so that my 60 goes up in value, i paid 450 when i got it lmao
why music is always so loud in the beginning
sweet spot!
his name is Tim and he makes power supplies for lots of consoles
True Trudent?
How about, Tride n tTrue?
Very cool place
Kyle is my buddy!!
Neighbors life would be hell after that
So the grumpy neighbor ratted on your business? Are home studios banned or something? Even with proper noise management?
They used to be until a few years ago.
so its illegal for him to record music or something?
It used to be illegal to operate a business out of a residence in Nashville about 5 years ago. It's not anymore, but that's why he had to stop.
Is that an actual bob ross?!?
Kyle ROX
hi Andrew
Hey Zane
Hello
Love it, Andrew and Kyle! Always a good vibe @tinytaperoom107
we talking 500 english pounds or american weights?
Hope he got revenge on the neighbour who called the cops.
Nobody likes a snitch.
US only....😕
its moog as in oh and not oo
