When the zoning of his land changed, Christo turned lemons into lemonade. Instead of building a THOW, he built on a foundation. This allowed him to build wider & taller--perfect for adding an epic recording studio! He used mostly reclaimed wood and salvaged & recycled materials in a truly mind-blowing way. BTW, all the music in the episode is written & performed by him! 👉 *WATCH a succinct look at a high-quality tiny house build process & amazing park model tour:* th-cam.com/video/naf1OntFGr0/w-d-xo.html
He’s pretty amazing! Especially how he started with “shedding” then went into “making pie”…. Seemed so angry to start and slowly became more creative, confident and accepting; all while filling in and following with an amazing (MANY) amazing messages!!!♥️ I found your website, you should look him up if you enjoyed this!!! Take care of yourselves my fellow humans! HALT ♥️
You have put words to my impression. As for certain other works of art, it's not something you see just once. It's something to revisit. What a treasure!
This home tour is an exploration of a fascinating mind. It must be quite something to be his sister! I need to meditate now on what his mind just said to mine about a whole lot more than I can put into words. I thought I’d rather say this to you then to everyone else responding to his tour. Glad you commented, and I can only begin to imagine what it’d be like to visit in person.
So...he's a musician, a maker of instruments, a sous chef, a woodworker, a carpenter, a builder, an interior designer...Basically a modern day Renaissance man with unmatched vigilance and skill.
you forgot occupational therapist :D lol I am thoroughly impressed by people who can do this- to be so talented & interested in so many things and will just go for it, just try it all. kudos to all of his endeavors, especially to an absolutely exquisite house.
Number one: this guy is fascinating! Number two: his house is incredible! Number three: his house is a reflection of him, so… number four: this guy is incredibly fascinating! Kudos to you, Mister!
Christo is a true artisan. As a woodworker/cabinet maker, I can appreciate the amount of work that went into creating this house. The way he created the space, with the overall color scheme throughout, and the use of different wood species to create that color scheme is amazing and harkens back to the Craftsmen era. The way he designed the storage around the appliances is creative and awe-inspiring with its symmetry and balance. The most impressive home I have ever seen. I would take this home over any million-dollar mansion in a heartbeat!
This is by far the most amazing, inspiring and absolutely beautiful “tiny” home I’ve seen so far. I can not believe what I’m seeing. He’s a freaking genius😮
I 2nd your comment, Christo mentioned Frank Lloyd Wright, the nod I see to him is all of the beautiful woods and natural light. Wood is the most cohesive material mankind has, followed by stone & glass. Christo did an amazing job for sure.
This is literally the best tiny house ever. The design and everything is solid, realistic, creative, has great quality, and is just beautiful. I'd love to have something like this.
It really is amazing! DIY homes often are the most well-rounded because of how the builder approaches the design and, of course, all the creative solutions ☺️
@@christomorehead2727 The house is fascinating, but I still have so many questions tho! Mainly- how many hours/days/weeks/months did all of this take? How long did it take you to come up with your concept and full design? I'm curious, because everything is so well thought out! It all looks perfectly done, but is there anything you would do differently?
@@TinyHouseExpedition I've already watched it a couple of times, because it's an amazingly beautiful design! There's a couple of things I wish I could've seen- like how he did the front cubby holes on his steps (hinged lids or something else, etc.) and what he did with his corner cupboards in the kitchen - lazy susan, shelves, something else. I'm curious, because everything is thoroughly thought out, so he probably thought these out for their best use too.
@@habba929 Roughly three years to design and downsize, two years to find property, a year to tweak my plans to meet code and to prep the lot for the build, and about 3.5 years to build from start to finish... weather permitting and in between work shifts, some build days were six hours and others were fourteen hours. I definitely slowed down during the winter months. I had help from others with framing, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC.
Wow. I am blown away by this. I am a woman, and the masculine aspects of this build are so warm and inviting. He used so many items that I will use in my own tiny and respect the use of found and reused items. I hate to see so much waste in this world. Thanks for this!! 💜💜
Considering the US obsession with bigger, 'better' and more expensive, the tiny house movement is fascinating. May the days of less waste, thus conserving nature, return fast!
To say this is a Mind Blower is an understatement.. The creativity, artistry and craftsmanship in unbelievable. I loved his comments about the journey he took with the creation and the meaning of Wabi Sabi. Fantastic. He should truly be proud.
@@christomorehead2727 I like the way you seem ok being alone….I’m the same way I like my own company…I would love a tiny house like yours. It is so beautiful.
Christo this is such exquisite artistry, design and craftsmanship !!! Very well done master creator and I love your music studio and the beautiful instruments that you've so lovingly created 💜
Hands down my favorite tiny/small house featured on a TH-cam channel yet. A work of art to be sure. Christo is a very talented individual ... layers and layers of talent ... that manifest in this finished product. Really appreciate Christo sharing his private space with us.... and some philosophy to boot.
As an architect specializing in studios and ADU's since the 70's, I seldom respond to most designs in this design area, but this creation reflects the owner in its expression of warmth and natural beauty. Kudos for an impressionable effort so rare in this nearly sterile movement of just enough space.
Man, I love this house! At the risk of sounding redundant this person is a flippin' genius. As a former art history professor the fact that Christo used the term 'entablature' in conversation gave me a warm feeling inside. Creative talent, a ridiculous amount of technical ability, and a sense of humor. Thanks for sharing this awesome space with us. We're not worthy!
This house is outstanding I agree with many of the comments Christo is a creative genius. The design of this home is phenomenal. His instruments are so amazing . He is inspiring
Wow! This is fantastic. Christopher is talented and wise. I’ve watched hundreds upon hundreds of tiny home videos and this one takes the cake: the house, the land, the guy, the vibe. GLORIOUS!
What this man has done is nothing short of brilliant. It really is a piece of artwork that he gets to live in. breathtaking, and a pleasure to look at it. I doubt we will ever see another tiny house of this caliber. It’s so beautiful.
Undoubtedly this is the most unique and beautiful tiny home that I have ever seen. This man is incredible. I have a hubby with advanced Alzheimer’s disease and I often watch these and think about this lifestyle for my future. And this video was really incredible.
My landlord chose me to live in a tiny former bedroom (separate entrance) of the bigger house because he said he liked my vibe. I told him I didn't know I had one.😅 I've been here too long. Considering this video is a tiny house, it's about 5 times bigger than what I live in; it would feel like the Taj Mahal.
This may be a tiny house, but it is really a giant, breath taking work of art! Your passions, dreams, and inspirations radiate throughout your beautiful home, which is thoughtfully designed, and skillfully laid out. Everywhere you look, inside and out, is a vision of peace, and tranquility. I can tell you are a humble soul, Christopher, but you undersell yourself tremendously! You are a talented, inspiring, skillful artist, who knew what you wanted, went after it, and accomplished nothing short of an amazing, one of a kind masterpiece! Everywhere you look or touch has a piece of your soul embedded within it! Thank you for letting us come into your amazing home! It was an awesome experience, from beginning to end!
While I can’t necessarily see myself inhabiting a tiny home I’m drawn to these videos for the sheer ingenuity and creativity behind these spaces. This is probably my favorite I’ve seen so far. I’m blown away by the thoughtfulness, craftsmanship, and overall design of this home.
I would live in it with about 50 more feet and a higher ceiling I like to see the efficiency and beauty of tiny houses, admire the creatiivity but this is the best I have ever seen. I really like the fireplace.
I am an interior designer and what this brilliant and unbelievably talented man has created is art. He is living in and enjoying every day the expression of himself. What an extraordinary, passionate and focused genius. This is truly creating, executing and then living the dream!
The creativity and the level of skill here is hugely impressive. Then you throw in the affordability, the sustainability, the practicality and the aesthetic appeal and it is a work of genius proportions.
I've just saved this video so that I can watch it again. This house is stunning. Putting bottle corks, cigar boxes, waste timber, wine bottles, and so many items, normally discarded, together is just astonishing and saves things going to landfills. The sheer beauty of the house is beyond compare. Christopher is a very talented man. The house tour, disclosing all the magical features, is a work of art in itself.
There r very few real men like him. 👍 Luckily, JESUS CHRIST BLESSED me also,by giving me an amazing, awesome, husband! Thanks for showing us your beautiful home. So kind U 2do so. It's very much appreciated 🙏
WoW....this one blew me away. After watching so many tiny house living videos over the years, I think I've become a little "desensitized" to certain things in them....but this ... THIS 😱 PHENOMENAL. 🎉🥇🎉
I agree. This is stunning. He's got so many amazing original ideas. Kudos on this piece of paradise. Well done and love the library. Some things we can't live without.
Christo is such a good and sweet guy! I met up with him a bunch when try to plan for my tiny home build, he offered so much insight and help to a young hopeful me. He put soooooo much time and love into this build, it's amazing! So great to see it fully done. You killed it man, hope you're well! - Lucas
Ahhh that’s so great & am not surprised at all because of a what a sweetheart he is! ❤️ If you’d ever be interested in collaborating with us, please reach out! tinyhouseexpedition.com/get-featured/ 😊
The creative use of your design and materials. Was very cool always good to find bargains - repurpose what' s available. It a very well thought out space. Also very beautiful. I love it!!!!.
Such a talented individual! Building $80,000 & land $26,000! So affordable than our country. Love the rich dark browns & the amount of space & your recording studio is phenomenal! Love the tall tall ceilings. Amazing build!
The thought that went into the design, privacy windows, cigar box headboard, refurbish wood, stairs and sound control, just to name a few 😉 is phenomenal. Love the design and how intentional each inch of space defines or almost speaks its own purpose. Beautiful!
Wow! This is the most beautiful tiny house I’ve ever seen. I absolutely love your design! Being an avid cook and musician myself, I just love how you’ve honored both of those things in your build. Just stunning ❤
Like most, I'm addicted to watching tiny home videos, but this one by far is the number one on my list. There's absolutely nothing about this floor plan that needs to be tweaked. Absolutely stunning ❤️
This is one of the most luxurious and aesthetically pleasing tiny spaces I have ever seen. The entire house speaks volumes of the owner’s personality, as if the house itself is an extension of them. I have been following living tiny movement for a long time so I have come across many amazing projects but this is something different altogether.
This has got to be one of the BEST tiny houses I have ever seen, because all the wood is different colors from really light or golden colors and then richer darker colors the home feels very spacious and contemporary, and so many nooks and crannies closets and storage areas, its just an amazing tiny house, this man is such a artist from DYI music instruments to building and design just such a talented person.
Most tiny homes look very temporary to me. IMO, they’re just too small and have too many compromises for (most) people to live long-term. I realize that this one is on a foundation and able to be a touch bigger. But, this looks like the minimum size for a long term home.
This is absolutely exquisite! What a spectacular and innovative home Chris’s built. I love the unusual colours and the uses for things like cigar boxes, wine bottles and corks, added to the different hardwoods. He’s a complete craftsman…this is one of the most beautiful tinies I’ve ever seen! Fair play to him!!
I absolutely love this house period. Sometimes I find that some tiny homes are too small or feel to clinical. This house is useful, efficient, warm and inviting. He did a great job. Also a bonus was most of this material to create the tiny house was almost sent to a landfill.
Without a doubt, of all the channels I follow of Tiny Houses, this is the build with which I most identify, both in terms of aesthetics, size, choice of materials and the amount of money spent on its construction! I can perfectly see myself living in a space like this. Congratulations to this fellow!👏🏼
This is a beautiful home. I love that it's on a foundation, because we don't always see modern tiny houses on foundations. The millwork is stunning. I also love that he incorporated his love of music and books. You don't have to sacrifice what you love to live small, and this home is proof of that.
I usually don't comment on these tiny home videos, but, this home just blew me away. All the woods used are so beautifully done. And he had a great story to tell. Thank you for sharing Christo. My grandfather built their little cabin in the U.P. of Michigan all by himself. Had himself a personal makeshift sawmill, back in the early to mid 1930's. It was my favorite place to be. Woods, a creek out back and a view of the lake out the dining room. It was small, two rooms. One was the eating, sitting and kitchen area. The other room had two full sized beds in it. Heated with a cast iron wood burner, along with the cast iron cook stove. So looking at your beautiful home sure brought back all the smells of woods and grandma cooking up fantastic food on that stove. Nothing like homemade bread out of one of those woodburning cook stoves.
This is a beautiful home. I love Frank Lloyd Wright's architecture, and when I saw this, it was the first thing I thought of. I'm also from the UP and have enjoyed staying in cabins built by friends and family. My tiny cabin is almost finished, and I hope to be moving in soon. It's not as fantastic as this one, but he has given me some wonderful ideas.
@@TinyHouseExpedition Deb Mellentine 1 second ago @Tiny House Expedition You should, it is beautiful up there, and miss my grandparents.(and parents) and all the good times up there. The little cabin is still in the family. My cousin has it and added a real bathroom. No more outhouse, lol.
This Man Is Amazing! And His Work Speaks For Itself! 🤗 This Is The Best One I Have Seen So Far. Thank You For Sharing Your Beautiful Work With The World. Many Blessings To You Always 🙏🏾
I’ve watched more tiny home/homesteading/off the grid type videos than I can count. I have to say, your house is by far the most beautiful & creative one I’ve seen (in my opinion). I really love what you did all the way through. The multicolored wood is gorgeous. I love what you did with the paper bags, the cigar boxes & the wine corks. You’re amazing! (I don’t have the artistic creative gene 😅)
I don't think I've ever appreciated a tiny house more than this one. The stairs wouldn't work for my disability, but the rest would. It's beautiful and makes so much sense.
@@growingwings1212 lots of them in it for the money...not the esthetic this guy created doing it on his own. He said his budget was 80K but I don't think he said what he actually paid...idk
Bravo Christo! Polymaths such as Christo are so very rare and truly deserve admiration. Thank you to Tiny House Expedition for sharing this all too tiny insight into an exceptional home and its creator.
He seems like a nice guy who has learned to find balance in his life. He is justifiably proud of what he has accomplished, yet is humble at the same time. Good work!
That design is DECADENT. The warm tones, the use of wood throughout, the luxurious rug in the middle, the attention to detail and symmetry, it all comes together to make something that looks so rich. My favourite of everything tho was just the simple pull-out cabinet for his vacuum. What a clever use of space, and still so accessible, spacious and organized.
Christo, The truth is, you are a creative genius. You simply have no idea that you are. I bet throughout your life, everyone else seemed odd; you couldn't figure out why you were always unhappy with the people around you trying to place you into a box. Every single area of your home is a work of art. You should consider inviting others once a week to dinner outdoors. You'll get a chance to show off the kind of food you really wanted to create for others to experience when you were in the restaurant industry. Then, add some musicians to play your music. You would probably have a ball. Okay, ...maybe once a month.... invitation only. Thank you for inviting others to see your beautiful work. It was spectacular!
I'm a musician, and this is basically the tiny house I've been attempting to dream of the last several years--trying to figure out how a double loft might work, with the 2nd being for a recording studio. I just hadn't imagined it as beautifully as this guy did. At $80k, I could pull that off too in theory, but of course, that is his number cus he has the skill to build it himself. Damn I wish I had that skillset. I could totally live in a space like this and finally ditch the corporate life. I wonder how much this build would be if you factored in labor. But good lord, this place is perfect. And, unlike most other tiny homes, it has a full, actual kitchen, and real headroom in the lofts. I am going to watch this video regularly and frantically try to figure out how the hell I might pull something like this off.
Go search for pre-built cabins. I'm in Missouri and we have a lot of companies(many are Amish) that sell pre-built cabins/tiny homes that are just a shell (the entire cabin framed with siding and roof) for less than 20k. For an additional cost they can finish the entire interior. I know a lot will even accept designs if you are interested in doing a double loft. Not sure how much carpentry you can do yourself, but I know most people can DIY the interior if they have a completed shell to work with. I know of people who have finished an entire 16'x40' place for less than 50k.
I'm a musician too and was thinking the same thing. I don't have the skill set to do all of that work myself or enough money to invest in all of the extras. But dam it's perfect huh.
This is, hands down, THE coolest (not so) tiny house I've seen! It's beautiful and so well executed. I also love that you've made a space for music. I've always thought that would have to be my biggest sacrifice should I decide to go tiny.
Thanks so much, John! It was a relief to know that it was 100% possible to keep a space for music in the house, and I am grateful every day for going the extra step to make that happen!
I’m speechless. I can’t recall being more impressed with an individual in my life. His gifts are too many to mention, but they’re honed to a glorious end result. God bless his beautiful soul. 🙏🏼❤️🙏🏼
I'm a single mother living in CA. Been working so hard so I can retire at 50 if things keep going well for me. Bought my first condo this month and I can't be more proud than I am right now. I'm so glad I made good decisions about my finances that changed me forever.
Hey, I’m super proud of you. I wish you can take your time to give me a little guide on how to fix my finances. I’m in a mess right now and any tip from you would really go a long way.
Hey sweetie. Apparently, I used the FIRE movement to put my finances in shape. You can research more about it. Then, lnvested in stocks, crypto-currencies and real estates crowdfunding through the assistance of an lnvestment pro I was able to achieve a lot.
I’ve watched SOOO many tiny house, vanlife, etc videos. But/and - this one is utterly special and magical. Christo’s aesthetic is amazing, his approach to his life, his love of music, his reclamation of materials, etc. I particularly loved his comments on wabi-sabi at the end of the video. My only wish would be to know more about him - about what his “day job” is, if it’s not his music, and what he defines as his community. Thank you, filmmakers - and Christo, if you ever see this comment - bravo!
Thanks so much for the kind words! I don’t really define myself by my “job” usually, as I feel that it’s the most boring thing about me…but I am an OT by trade, and run a private rehabilitation and Craniosacral therapy clinic. I also do woodworking here and there for folks, and help people plan and design their homes, and I also write music for soundtracking.
@@christomorehead2727 Oh that’s really interesting - and nothing boring about either OT or craniosacral therapy. I’m a hospital chaplain and a Zen teacher and have a private practice with mindfulness and Tarot clients. Nice to e-meet you.
I teach Gifted Students. I can say without a doubt that he is a Gifted man. His ability to create a unique, beautiful and functional space along with his musical talents is simply amazing. What a fine example of the gifted mind being happy, thoughtful and creative.
The intro hit the nail on the head. This is one of the most beautiful, well thought-out tiny homes I have ever seen. Thanks for bringing all of us into this awesome creation.
I'm not a wood person, but THIS house is beautiful and amazing. I also know audio engineering and his studio is GREAT!!! I love lofts that you can actually stand in. Awesome job!! ❤️
Wow! Beautiful journey you are truly gifted! The quality of your home makes me so appreciative of what you've created. Great job & the different woods that you used makes your home so warm & pleasant to the eyes! Love& thanks for sharing.
Wow, he has a piano. In a loft. Aside from the stunning beauty and hidden gems of the house, the fact that he was able to shove so much equipment into a loft is astonishing.
Wow. This is an amazing. As a musician into recording, I love how this was designed. Christo is certainly a Renaissance man with all of the fields he is fluent in.
Absolutely stunning! The design is simply perfect, reminiscent of a men private club, dark woods, cigars (😂), quiet corners. The bathroom is a work of art - the corks an inspired choice! Congratulations on this amazing achievement
Hello Christo. Your home has the feel of a stately mansion inside a very small footprint. I have watched a multitude of videos about tiny homes over the last few years and nothing compares to what you created. Your clear thought process and flow of creativity show that you are truly in alignment with the Universe. Congratulations. Very impressive indeed!
I thought the same thing, Christo is a perfect example of someone who is in alignment, who has mastered both the spiritual and the physical. Thank you Christo for showing us how it's done! I loved the explanation of wabi-sabi at the end as well, I'm definitely someone who needs to learn to embrace my cringe lol.
Simply amazing. It is so beautiful. The art of his carpentry and bringing it all together is wonderful. There is much peace and harmony in his design. I love his attitude and acknowledged acknowledging the growth in his journey. I would love to sit with him and partake of his insight. Just simply love this.
The most beautiful thing is that he really built it for himself. It's the way he enjoys practical thing and also brought his own esthetic. Wonderful work.
Okay. I am not usually a fan of tiny homes, but WOW!!!! I am in love with this home. His designs are SPECTACULAR! The kitchen alone is just wonderful. Anyone would be beyond blessed and lucky to have such a kitchen. The whole design of this home is just gorgeous and every space is utilized brilliantly. WOW, just WOW. I honestly believe that this gentleman could design homes if he wanted to and make a generous living.
Not only this is this an incredible piece of architecture and design I am honestly amazed by how such a small space feels so big. Just absolutely well done on every aspect.
Christo, as many have said, you are so very inspiring. Your talent, your humility, your honesty, your openness is so attractive and a blessing. Thank yo so very much for letting us in.
This guy built a jewel, a piece of art to live in. Perfection. Whimsy in cigar boxes and wine corks, function in laundry and kitchen, earthy in wooded interior that beautifully invites in the outdoors through expansive glazing. He knows how to create living space. He knows how to live.
I built my tiny houses, 3 of them. One for me, my son and a separate kitchen. I also used a lot of my left over wood to create things in my home. I have been living in mine for 14 years now and would rather live tiny with less than to live large with clutter. Really love the look of Christo's home and I think he did a wonderful job. When your home reflects who you are, it is more confrontable to live in.
Chris is extremely talented and very inspiring. Whatever he will do next in life will be hard to top. Building a masterpiece is like that. Michelangelo had the same pressure.
There is no "top" because there is no competition & the point is just to keep doing what YOU want. I think Christo gets that. :) he's already lived a ton of lives and many would say he's a fool to leave these fields but he knows it's all about what makes *him* happy, not what society expects.
Christos, I love your attitude, your gorgeous home, your talents, your instruments. It's so beautiful. It's like a living art work. Everytime you look, you see something more. Such little waste. Incredible! I love your rage design. We are working hard to rebuild our lives after some horrific trauma including getting accidentally run over. However you remind me of my precious hubby. He is so artistic. He was a chef. I was his sous chef when we had restaurants. We went into animal rescue and rehabilitation. Dogs, cats, birds, rabbits, pigs, large birds and so on... Then went into healing which led to creating and inventing alot of things. And being musicians we also love to create different instruments. We love to compose and write songs and write everything. We have been fighting against homelessness. And had to leave behind much of our instruments and our music studio and where we are we have much less space. When I saw your incredible studio it gave me so many ideas. I am working on a mini one here. It's being built from Totara, Matai and Rimu which are native woods here in NZ that can not be felled anymore. Our wood comes from the swamp and has been drying for the last couple of decades by my hubbies boss. Everything has to be in order in my home and I love that about yours. The staircases are incredible. I love your home built on your parents vices. So funny. Love the sound wave)mountain. The japanese influences are magical. Love the kitchen. Wow what magical dishes one could create in there. And everything you need at your finger tips. I love the rangehood. Wow just wow! I love your joy of collecting sound. What I love most is your imagination, work ethic, authenticity, uniqueness, care and passion. Really love the dobro. My hubby made a cool banjo type instrument using an old pot. Your home is like a living breathing entity. I imagine it like a cocoon embracing you in a warm hug. I would love to hear more of your music, it's very mesmerising and relaxing, calming. The land wow what a steal. I really love the feature wall in the bathroom with all of the corks. So inventive and unique. I know it's from your imagination which is obviously as you want it. However if I would add anything, in the bathroom and master I might put a self designed stainglass window and possibly a skylight. That would bounce around so many incredible lights and patterns. Perhaps incorporating a few plants. I'm not usually a fan of such dark woods. However you nailed it. Especially with the contrast of light and dark. And the whole home is a wonderful reminder of your journey and how far you have come. I would say you could give up your day job any time with ever improving skills like these. This build really embodies someone's trash is someone else's treasure! This has really inspired me! Thank you! I did watch this when it first came out, however I didn't get to comment as life took us down a different path. I am glad to watch it again. You sound like you have a very loving, funny and supportive family. I am glad that they were all able to contribute somehow. Imagine that you have continued creating and collecting sound. I envision the land and home really complimenting each other well now. It would be great if you were able to give an update if possible. Keep being amazing you! Enjoy your incredible home. You so clearly deserve it! Take care! Love from NZ! A soul imagining and creating a world I want to see, where everyone can be healthy and thrive. 😊
This is very dark for my tastes - but it's nevertheless one of the most stunning tiny homes I've ever seen. The craftsmanship, the functionality, the flow, the symmetry, the warmth, it's all nothing short of inspirational. From this impressive home that he's crafted, to his ingenuity, to his music, to his culinary adeptness, to his articulacy, to his level of chill, to his apparent adherence to the things the matter in life, I feel like Christo is an incredibly well-rounded individual. Seriously, good job all-round. And what a spectacular home.
This house is absolutely spectacular! I love everything about it. As a lover of music who is the granddaughter of a carpenter, this is literally my dream home. What a beautiful story of personal growth and evolution. Such creativity and love poured into this journey. Best wishes to Christopher for many decades of good health in which to enjoy this home.
It is always about the journey or process not the destination nor the outcome. Creativity is what I know as a religious experience. Creative arts should never be taken out of the schools. Your design process and creative ingenuity is inspiring. Thank you for sharing your journey and destination.
This guy is AWESOME. I *LOVE* his house, and the studio he's built for himself, it's an absolute dream. Quite literally I would be the happiest man alive living there, creating music and being at internal peace.
If I ever went tiny, this would be how I'd want it to be on foundation. What an amazing home. Other than the size, there's nothing tiny about this amazing home and the man that built it.
This is the most beautiful tiny house I ever seen. The use of materials like the corks, woods and the cigar boxes, I am hugely impressed how you incorporated in your design. Those cigar boxes are just beautiful and of course the sentimental value are even greater as it’s your fathers and corks from your mothers collections.
Nice house. Not a tiny house tho.
@@CorePathway of course it is.
@@CorePathway it is absolutely a tiny house! open yourself to the possibilities ❤
It's truly remarkable!
Yes he IS!
This is actually a tiny home I could imagine living in. Best one I've ever seen BY FAR.
This home should be in a museum. Absolutely stunning work. ❤❤❤
We agree!
Christo's house is beyond beautiful. The different color wood and textures makes it truly a work of art.
I don't think he said how long this project took.
Very kind words - cheers and thanks so much, Fergie!
Wow ! I can never look at a tiny house in the he same way again. This is the most incredible tiny home yet. Truly built by an artist.
❤️ Amen
Wow. I am blown away by this. I am a woman, and the masculine aspects of this build are so warm and inviting. He used so many items that I will use in my own tiny and respect the use of found and reused items. I hate to see so much waste in this world. Thanks for this!! 💜💜
I don’t think I’ve ever been so much in awe of someone and he seems so humble about the whole thing
The house is magnificent
Considering the US obsession with bigger, 'better' and more expensive, the tiny house movement is fascinating. May the days of less waste, thus conserving nature, return fast!
To say this is a Mind Blower is an understatement.. The creativity, artistry and craftsmanship in unbelievable. I loved his comments about the journey he took with the creation and the meaning of Wabi Sabi. Fantastic. He should truly be proud.

Happy to hear it! It was a real treat to his completed home after meeting many years ago when he was planning it ❤️
As an architect specializing in studios and ADU's since the 70's, I seldom respond to most designs in this design area, but this creation reflects the owner in its expression of warmth and natural beauty.
This house is outstanding
I agree with many of the comments Christo is a creative genius. The design of this home is phenomenal. His instruments are so amazing . He is inspiring
Love everything!!!
This is unreal. So much imagination and talent. I absolutely love it. Genius for sure. Little character he says. Amazing
Wrote that before I saw the music studio. I am now officially blown away. Just one person with so much talent and creativity.
I caught the use of entablature also! Wow! This guy is amazing!
Wow! This is fantastic. Christopher is talented and wise. I’ve watched hundreds upon hundreds of tiny home videos and this one takes the cake: the house, the land, the guy, the vibe. GLORIOUS!
Love hearing that!!!
You took the words right out of my mouth it's amazing
Definitely has a vibe about him.
What this man has done is nothing short of brilliant. It really is a piece of artwork that he gets to live in. breathtaking, and a pleasure to look at it. I doubt we will ever see another tiny house of this caliber. It’s so beautiful.
How about those steps leading to the loft..it looks like fun just to go up and down..lol
Undoubtedly this is the most unique and beautiful tiny home that I have ever seen. This man is incredible. I have a hubby with advanced Alzheimer’s disease and I often watch these and think about this lifestyle for my future. And this video was really incredible.
Sorry to hear about your hubby, but this could be a lovely option for your future! Glad you enjoyed it!
This is the most beautiful tiny house I’ve seen on TH-cam. Absolutely awesome! And the fact that he built it himself makes it even more impressive.
Sweet words, thank you Alejandro!
This home is an absolute work of art. Bravo to Christo. I find him to be such a fascinating individual.
You're very kind, thanks, Raynola!
Yes could not leave my books.
I’m so inspired by Christo’s talent, philosophy, and energy to accomplish so much!! This was my most memorable TH-cam episode ever!
Wow! Thanks for such kind words, Linda!
Amazing❤
Mine too🥰
I can almost feel his journey in every piece of wood. This house is far more than just a house, it's a vibe.
Very well said. ❤️
Such amazingly kind words, thank you so much!, adwallace!
Agree on both counts😃
Absolutely ‼️‼️😊😊
I would live in it with about 50 more feet and a higher ceiling I like to see the efficiency and beauty of tiny houses, admire the creatiivity but this is the best I have ever seen. I really like the fireplace.
🥰😍
My thoughts exactly!
I can’t believe all the wood is scrap, he made it look so incredible.
Amazing build! Truly inspirational!
Your mom and dad must be so proud of this man. A jack of all trades plus a music master. Amazing
What an inspiration. The house is gorgeous, but HE is such an incredible human. My heart is really happy that he exists in the world.😊

Beautiful!

I loved how he designed that yellow sound deflection thing, looked like a piece of art.
Absolutely. I wonder if he's thought of selling the plans.
Agreed- I was captivated from beginning to end.
@@MsPhoebus I think he should make & sell the magnetic spice rack boxes. I could use those.
@@barbs1298 yes great idea.
Beautiful home , you are a visionary.
He really created a stunning tapestry of colors & textures with those alternative materials 💗
Truly appreciate your words, Mandy - Cheers!
Christo, you are such a talented craftsman! Your home is just lovely! Congratulations!
He is amazing! 💕
Thanks so much!
This is one of the very few tiny homes that has an actual standing 2nd floor! Really great design. Love this house.
This is the most awesome tiny house EVER! That KITCHEN!! The carpentry!! The STUDIO!!
Cheers and thanks, Roads! Your comment means a lot!
What a smartly creative handy man and musical, too! Look at that board and his recording studio- wow! Love it all, and that kitchen…ooh la la!,
This is a beautiful home.
That sounds wonderful! We’ve always wanted to visit the UP too 😊✨
This is a beautiful home.

I have to fully agree with your comment.
I don't think I've ever appreciated a tiny house more than this one. The stairs wouldn't work for my disability, but the rest would. It's beautiful and makes so much sense.
This build is a masterpiece. I wish there were construction companies that would offer tiny builds.

@@growingwings1212 lots of them in it for the money...not the esthetic this guy created doing it on his own. He said his budget was 80K but I don't think he said what he actually paid...idk

You are so talented in woodworking.
It's a box. You can do it.
It’s clear you’re a genius Christo. Your work is absolutely phenomenal! Thank you for sharing it with us!

I have watched a multitude of videos about tiny homes over the last few years and nothing compares to what you created. Your clear thought process and flow of creativity show that you are truly in alignment with the Universe. Congratulations. Very impressive indeed!

You are welcome. Just showed your story to my husband. He is equally moved. Very interested in what you have to share!
This guy built a jewel, a piece of art to live in. Perfection. Whimsy in cigar boxes and wine corks, function in laundry and kitchen, earthy in wooded interior that beautifully invites in the outdoors through expansive glazing. He knows how to create living space. He knows how to live.
Very beautiful!! My favorite tiny home!!
That has to be awesome.
If you ever show your builds I hope I get to see them.
Blessing......🤗
Chris is extremely talented and very inspiring. Whatever he will do next in life will be hard to top. Building a masterpiece is like that. Michelangelo had the same pressure.
There is no "top" because there is no competition & the point is just to keep doing what YOU want. I think Christo gets that. :) he's already lived a ton of lives and many would say he's a fool to leave these fields but he knows it's all about what makes *him* happy, not what society expects.
Definitely it’s a piece of an art work !
Pure genius! I love everything about this tiny house❤️. Well done, Christo!!

😊
I'm blown away by what you've done, Christo. You are intellectual at so many levels. Such a warm, inviting and beautiful abode. Thank you.
Dang, I should hire you to write my website bio! Thanks so much, Alan!
@@christomorehead2727 Ah! Well thank YOU, mate! For sharing your home and a bit of yourself! Both are truly impressive!
I love wood and there’s more than enough windows and natural light that enriches the beautiful wood tones. It’s also perfect for the woodland setting.
Agree
This house is absolutely spectacular! I love everything about it. As a lover of music who is the granddaughter of a carpenter, this is literally my dream home. What a beautiful story of personal growth and evolution. Such creativity and love poured into this journey. Best wishes to Christopher for many decades of good health in which to enjoy this home.
Wonderful praise, thanks so much, Raised!
Massive praise, cheers, OCD (love your handle!)
@@christomorehead2727 Thank you, Christo. It fits my personality. I love organizing, creating, and decorating and I suffer from some OCD tendencies.
