  • This Atmos Ninja V vs Shogun Inferno video will show you main differences between Ninja V and Inferno. Pros and Cons without wasting time! Personally I think Ninja V or Inferno is still a better moneywise option then Ninja V+!

    hi, great vid! i just got an FX3, and was wondering if you thought going with the V+ over the V (shogun's too big, pricey), if the price difference is $650 for the V+ "pro deluxe starter kit" on adorama vs a V for $400. I ordered both during BF and will return one. I know the V+ is largely overkill but I did want the FX3 for the 4k120 so I wonder if the extra couple hundred isn't worth it, especially considering the accessory pack.
    thanks much! subbed, your vids are super well produced, clear and concise

      Hey man, many thanks for your feedback 😀 Despite of this video I would say if you have some spare $ it is alway worth to future proof yourself and get more up to date gear 🤫😎 V+ May be overkill in many instances those days but probably will be pretty standard in next 2 years. Get a kit for a discounted price. You cannot get wrong with that 💪 thanks again for your positive comment ✋

    Thanks for the video. I'm sti'll on the fence about both monitors. I think i'll go with the Ninja V just because it's smaller.

      Thank you for your comment, glad you have found my video useful :) yes, portability on Ninja V is great! 7” could be too much for many situations and not very handy ;)

    Great video! Thanks for putting this together. Quick question...what are the white 'adaptors' you use to connect the HDMI cable from the Ninja to the camera? Thanks again.

      Hi Raphael! Thanks for your comment :) well, it’s a cheap but very reliable coiled HDMI cable that you can find for e.g. on eBay. Just rearch for ‘Coiled HDMI 2.0b 2160p 4k 18Gbps UHD TV High Speed Cable Lead Gold’. I hope that helps 🙂

    Informative video but I have one query. While 7" look rather bulky, 5" seems a tad bit small. Does the 5" provide a really good size for viewing? Thank you.

      @HustlewithVideos  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Tony, sorry for such late reply 🙂 all depends on type of your work. It's a great monitor for live views on top of a camera, home studio or even on a gimbal. At one point I have found 7" rather bulky hence use only Ninja V at the moment. Probably you will not be disappointed with 5" 😀

    This is a Ninja Inferno vs. Ninja V... NOT a Shogun Inferno vs. Ninja V. The Shogun Inferno is an even more compelling product than the Nija Inferno. Love the video

      Hey 😊 thanks for your comment. I would suggest manufacturer’s website but from my experience simplicity is the king. Get a dedicated power supply cable with a battery adapter, as well as cord hdmi and you are good to go 👊

    I really like your comparison so interesting I already have the ninja V and I like it but to tell you the truth I prefer the Blackmagic 12g SDI monitor

      +1 for Blackmagic 12g monitor. I also own the Ninja V. The blackmagic is brighter, faster load time, SSD via usb-c, easier interface and better Vlog to Rec709 LUT. Also braw from S1H is easier to grade in Resolve.

    So, in order to get 5.9K ProRes on my Lumix S5, I should get the Inferno..? I’m not quite clear on the info… If someone could help me, it would be very appreciated..

    • @HustlewithVideos
      @HustlewithVideos  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi. Thanks for your comments. Both records can do 5.9k with latest updates. This video is a comparison of those ‘older’ Atomos records which maybe do not do 8K like V plus (who needs that for now?!) but are packed with a tone of features and pretty affordable those days, especially bigger inferno! I hope that helps :)

      Most cameras can't take advantage of the features. Even top of the line cameras like the A7SIII.

    The Atomos V+ is more future proof, which is why i chose it over the old v. A 7 inch monitor / recorder is too big and bulky imo (for a small mirrorless body), especially when mounted for a shoulder-cam setup. The extra 500 nits to 1500 doesn't matter doesn't make enough of a difference in the sun or outdoors. You are find with a 1000 nit screen but with a mandatory sun hood.

    Good video... but you still didn't mention why not the Ninja V+... which is the reason I came to see the video....

    • @HustlewithVideos
      @HustlewithVideos  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi Gabriel, thank you for your comment 😀 sorry if the take out from this video is not very clear. I was trying to compare to Atomos alternatives that are much cheaper and probably ‘enough for the current needs’ of small video creators, especially TH-camrs. I believe those two monitors still provide similar features as the latest Atomos products, and 4K 60fps is well enough for most content creators 😉 I hope this answers your question 🤓👊

      Thanks for your comment. Well, I have not experienced any fan noises as I usually have my mic on a boom pole or wirelessly via a lab mic…
