Great video, a camera will last years and years, just don't drop it, bang it around and don't use burst mode like a crazy person and your good friends. I have a Canon 6d, shutter count 799, just got a pentax K7, incredible camera, 564 shutter count. But its nice to have barely used gear to get a deal on but take care of the camera and your good 👍 of course don't buy a used one with a 100k plus shutter count, a waste of money when you can find a good used camera that has barely been used, that's what I did, i love b and h photo 😀💯📸 i shoot mainly video, im a cinematography, then a photographer. I subscribed, good stuff my friend 👍

Great video, I have a 6d and just got a pentax k7 and its shutter count is 564😀 im a happy camper, but had to spend alittle more, not that much more, they guy at the camera shop was cool, the pentax K7 i just got looks brand new, no peeling grip at all, no scratches anywhere, barley was used, 564 snaps, like i said, happy camper here and the camera is incredible 💯📸

If you need some guy telling you on you tube whether shutter count matters, you have basic cognitive failings. Next, seek out some guy to tell you whether car mileage matters.

Doesn’t matter at all. It’s just a buyers talking point to try and low ball the seller. PLENTY of 50+ year old cameras on original shutters and still going plenty strong.

The Atomos V+ is more future proof, which is why i chose it over the old v. A 7 inch monitor / recorder is too big and bulky imo (for a small mirrorless body), especially when mounted for a shoulder-cam setup. The extra 500 nits to 1500 doesn't matter doesn't make enough of a difference in the sun or outdoors. You are find with a 1000 nit screen but with a mandatory sun hood.

hi, great vid! i just got an FX3, and was wondering if you thought going with the V+ over the V (shogun's too big, pricey), if the price difference is $650 for the V+ "pro deluxe starter kit" on adorama vs a V for $400. I ordered both during BF and will return one. I know the V+ is largely overkill but I did want the FX3 for the 4k120 so I wonder if the extra couple hundred isn't worth it, especially considering the accessory pack. thanks much! subbed, your vids are super well produced, clear and concise

hey, do you recommend buying the S5 for photography mainly. it's coming at a very good deal right now, and other camera at similar price point are canon r and sony a7ii. Also thank you for talking about s5 photography capability, it was really hard to find any review which talks about photo aspect of the camera.
