I ended up getting the R5C and the Ninja V Plus and I'm trying to utilize it in the best way possible. HDMI raw seems to be the only way to get 8K on the Ninja? Every time I change the video codec the ninja crops to 4k
Sorry but that was some misleading b-roll, the Sanho Hyperthin cables are 2.0 spec not 1.4! Also let’s be clear, no, the new reader will not be any faster what-so-ever as both rely on the SATA6 connection to the SSD which is limited at the same 500MB/s as USB3.2 gen1 type A supports which is also the drive limitation. The drive and Ninja would need to support NVMe SSDs to be any faster than the current drives/readers. The limitation was never the USB, it just is a reduced potential bottleneck when using a 3.2 gen1 USB bus in your computer.
I just bought the R6 (It's on the way...) and I am debating whether to get the V or the V+... I know that if I get the V+, I will be ready to go whenever I upgrade to an 8K camera. My question is, will I benefit now with the R6 by using the V+ instead of the V? Thnx

GREAT VID THANKS!
I'm wondering if the R5C can record 120 Hz yet. I'm having a lot of difficulty finding information on the Canon R5C and the Ninja V Plus
Can you please test it with the red Komodo? Will it work as backup to the only one card solution on the red ? Thx

Awesome & Thanks :)
I have one and it was NOT a good purchase! You cannot tap to focus on the monitor with a Sony A7s iii.
Wrong camera.
@@w.w.7148 No idea what you are talking about!
Useful, but quite wordy. Supported cameras in 8K and 4K at 120 could have been more easily defined/reinforced with titles (not just spoken words.)
