Boom AtomOS11 is now available for the Ninja V/V+.
Nice video! I've been trying to decide to buy a monitor for the past three years now. Might be pulling the trigger on the Ninja V soon and build from there. At the very least, to your points in your video, this can still serve as a capable monitor, even if I do upgrade to V+ or ultras in the future.
I agree, the Ninja V can still serve you well as a 4K video recorder and HDR monitor. Way better than the budget alternatives like the FeelWorld monitors from my experience.
been debating between the V+ and the new ninja Ultra. Does the V+ not record ProRes Raw 4k 120??? With all the proper PP and log settings? were using the fx3
Wait, the options on teh Ninja V+ are wrong on this image. The 8K30p is on the Ninja V+ and it also shoots H265 all unlocked and I think the Ultra was 6K60p
Can I use that monitor for photography?????
Is the 1000 nit bright enough in direct strong sunlight and will fan noise get picked up by on-cam shotgun mic?
Honestly I find it hard to see when I'm shooting under direct sunlight. I do rig it out with a hood anytime I'm using it outside. I haven't really noticed the fan noise - maybe because I do use MKH416 which is really good at noise rejection. You can opt in to the low fan mode if that helps.
Ninja + .265 included? Or you have to buy it extra?
It should come with the H.265
