Megan and I LOVED this thing. Sure, I get that it’s not for everyone, but we thought it was MUCH better looking in person and enjoyed the plush ride. Sad that sedans are overlooked for SUVs now, especially when they’ve got this combo of attributes. Loved hearing your take on this one, man! Great review as always!
It's a great car that checks all the boxes. I just feel it was a bit overpriced and it didn't speak to me. Sometimes you lose the subjectiveness when you're pursuing the objectiveness. Thanks for watching (as always), JAX!
@@AutoAcademics The price is odd since it puts it right on top of the Lexus ES hybrid. I’d be curious to know which people would choose given the choice between them.
@@jax1079me, I looked at both and at the end of the day decided that the Lexus is kinda boring and the crown is just more fun. I get “whoa what is that” comments almost everyday
I really like the Crown Sedan version, maybe a crossover isn't your thing. But Crown is an premium Toyota vehicle and most people think that they changed an sedan into SUVish type sedan which is wrong. Crown is sold in three forms (Crossover, Sedan and sports)
Interesting. Where are you located? We only have this version in the States and it's considered a sedan. I actually LOVE sedans, but felt as though this year as trying to be too many things at once, like a sedan/crossover mashup. It is still a really good car, though. Thanks for sharing and for watching!
Crown Sedan and Sports is yet to release on November of this year. But the markets of it's launch aren't fully confirmed. Currently only The Crossover version is being sold Worldwide.@@AutoAcademics
Nice car had for 2 weeks. 40mpg comfortable ride thought the xle had enough power getting on highway and passing power. Only 2 drawbacks for me. Limited range of steering column couldn't get steering wheel high enough and the center console is too wide and high so couldn't get comfortable position to use accelerator pedal for long drives. Im 6' tall. Great car though
Nice review🎉! Miss the Avalon though and the V-6 with the Automatic transmission. The Crown looks good but at this price point, I'd have to consider the Lexus ES-350 Ultra Luxury Trim. 👏💪🙏
you can get the Limited without the advance package for $42K through Costco program...3.75% 60 mo financing....I suspect by August it will be under $40K and zero percent
These seem to have been sales duds around me. I've only seen a couple. And it isn't surprising. These are so much more than an Accord or Camry and similar in price to a Lexus ES, lower trim BMW 3, or Acura TLX. Most who want a useful sedan will either go with one of the tried and true mainstream ones for much lower prices or go to a luxury brand if they want something a little nicer.

@jax1079 And remember that this Limited is the mid-level trim. Standard AWD does help to sweeten the pot a tiny bit, but ...

Toyota dealerships: nobody is buying this car. Aha! What if we added ANOTHER 20k on top of MSRP and uhhhh call it TSRP??? GENIUS!!
When you said "pop the trunk", I thought I was was going to get a bass battle. Lol. Great review as always.
Great review!
Thanks for watching!

i got my limited 24’ last week!!! uhm it feels waaaay better than my rav4 limited 2023

The limited with tech package is the only trim and option worth getting. The XLE & Platinum sucks balls.
I just got the Platinum, and its awesome, wouldn't consider the other options.
I’m with you on the Avalon!!!! THAT was a sleeper!!!!
Thanks for watching, Todd Watkins!
I’d really like one of these. Dealers are now discounting them but Toyota is not offering any appealing lease incentives.
Thanks for watching!

Yeah. This is a bit pricey, IMO. Nice car, though. Thanks for watching!

Much more worth it at that price. It's a nice car, but 50k for this one is a bit much IMO. Thanks for sharing and for watching!
Nice, This sedan looks like a good successor of the Avalon.
I been seeing them around the Baltimore area recently.
Nice. It really does appear to meet many needs of buyers. Thanks for watching!
Great car. Not for everybody.

Definitely something to think about. Thanks for watching!
Is this car longer than my '99 Camry?
Great gas mileage but definitely not for me either. Thx!
Thanks for watching!
No one is buying Sedans.
I am. Just not THIS one. 😅 Thanks for watching!
Toyota? Meh.
