Yes ! I’m 58 and I feel the same way. Too many years of owning German (Audi and VW) cars and Volvos. These all have issues and headaches as they get older. Lexus/Toyota have the best quality and won’t bankrupt you. I even sold my 2013 es350 to buy my current 2002 es300. Didn’t want a high monthly payment, now I have no payment with all the luxury and refinement I need
I’m a car enthusiast but now also a dad and the Lexus ES F Sport is the car that made me switch from my Infiniti QX70 which I loved. What made me change was Luxury with awesome F Sport looks, good tech including driver assistance and room for 2 car seats and most importantly it runs on regular fuel and is so inexpensive to own. I love Lexus approach of blending of luxury and tech while sticking to Toyota roots simplicity, durability and reliability. As always another great video my friend
I used to have a 2015 ES350. It was so quiet and smooth, when stopped at an intersection I would have to double check the RPM gauge just to make sure it was on! It was whisper quiet!
As someone who does a lot of work on cars, foreign and domestic, every time I see a japanese badge on a car that comes in, I always feel a breath of relief. Working on japanese cars is simple, whether it be doing suspension repairs like replacing a control arm or replacing the valve cover, I never had to step back from the car in frustration. Toyota makes there cars with the intention of having a long life span. I've never been underneath a car of another brand and had the same feeling.
@Vinh Ngo VERY well said. Yeah, I absolutely love working on my 2006 Matrix, even though that’s only once a year because Toyotas rarely need work, everything is so easy to get to in that engine bay. You don’t have to know much about cars to work on it.
I ve had two Tundras. One is still running strong at 300,000 miles. The other feels brand new at 135,000. My oldest daughter has a Camry with 200,000 miles. My youngest has a Rav 4. I will be replacing my wife’s Volvo with a Lexus E 300. Toyota is the best car manufacturer in the world.
He doesn’t talk enough about the ride and quiet. I wanted to know why I buy this over the Toyota, other than the branding. Most of what he talked about he reminds us is the same in the Camry.
The way AMD talks about the thud sound while closing the door and the difference in sound of the front doors and back doors! That just tells you who he is and why we follow him. It's these small things we gear head love.
Sitting in one right now. Owned for 8 years and I had no clue when I bought it that I was buying what is quite possibly the best built luxury sedan on the market. Absolutely fantastic
Rite! I bought a 08' es350 last May. I totally love it. It can move.. my work car is a 15' es300h. My 08' es350 is my sports car, it hauls ass! Love the 3.5 v6!
Ppl getting in and out of my 2014 Lexus ES always comment on the quality/weight of the door. Nice touch since it’s a part of the car experience everyone deals with at least twice during the ride
My son bought a used 2013 Lexus ES 300h a few years ago. It is a phenomenal car, ten years from date of manufacture. He loves it. This is much the same concept.
After 2 and a half yrs of misery with my 7series Bimmer i got myself a 2020 ES350 yes not as much fun to drive but the peace of mind and the low maintenance and feeling you have that it will always starts and no more funky codes . Thanks for the great review
Superb review and hit all the points on why I settled for a 2023 ES 350. You do often have to check the speedometer to make sure you’re not going over speed limit due to smooth V6 and super quiet cabin.
I have a 2020 RX350L Luxury and I understand your comment on going faster than what you think. I call that sneaky fast. My HUD does help me stay honest with my speed.😂
AMD, We can hardly wait for you to get a Toyota Crown in your shop so you can compare it to the Lexus ES. I will also join with you in imploring Lexus to STOP THE F SPORT MADNESS!!! 🤨
I just picked up my is500 last week and my salesman had bought a crown that was delivered to the dealership at the same time. He was pretty excited and spent some time showing it too me. It's a cool car, I still think I would take an es over it though.
@@85CEKR I like the Crown's 235 hp AWD Hybrid system but greatly prefer the style of the ES. Like many others, I am hoping one of the better looking Crown variants makes it to our market.
90 days ago I bought a 2020 acura tlx 3.5 v6 and today I traded it for a 2021 lexus es 350 ultra luxury here's why it's was so loud and rough riding I couldn't do it any longer after the first week I hated it . I'm so glad I bought it now instead of me watching your videos I can watch and apply your lessons . Thanks for all the informative videos
@@dm17nc17 I own an Ultra Luxury. The big items are the leather, additional soundproofing, the 360 parking cameras, and the rear sunshade, plus the fact that most of the Ultra Luxurys are coming off the line with the other options that are available on paper from other trim levels but often aren't in the actual cars, like the Mark Levinson and the triple beam headlights. I'd encourage you to decide whether those individual items are worth it to you -- for me, the leather and the best stereo were on my personal must list, so it was a no-brainer. If not, don't pay extra, because Savagegeese for one felt that the base with a few options (wood-trim Premium Package, Levinson) is a much better value for money.
I bought a 2020 ES300h ultra luxury recently. I absolutely love it! Coming from a 2012 Camry LE hybrid which I recently passed down to my son for a first car.
Great review AMD. Your reviews are the best on YT. COMPLETE car reviews Love the ES, as I’ve said on your channel a few times I have a 2002 ES300 now w 175k miles. i even I sold my 2013 ES350 to get rid of a $470 monthly payment and higher insurance and bought my ES300. Now I have ZERO monthly payment with all the luxury and refinement I need. I’m the second owner (bought in April 2021) and although I had to replace some original parts within first year of ownership due to age all w mostly GENCO parts: starter, alternator, AC condenser which started squealing but still worked, struts (rear ones started leaking) and exhaust flex pipe. this car is bulletproof especially with the 1MZ engine. I change the synthetic oil every 5k miles (3x so far). There is one on YT with 590k highway miles posted about 3 years ago w original engine and transmission. Amazing build quality, luxury and refined. Super quiet Everything still works like new. The 4th Gen ES (02-06) had one of the highest build quality’s
19:59 I feel called out, I used the CD player in my old Toyota when I bought it until I got a new head unit that could take a USB, call me crazy but I like owning a physical copy of as much of my music collection as possible.
@@cormaro13 except it still works, I don't get advertisements, there's no extra draw on my phone, and, as indicated by my comment, you can put your entire music collection on a relatively small USB. Also not sure what you mean by 'separately', there is more than one song in an album, and for a while now most CD players in cars are mixers that hold multiple CDs.
I don't care what anyone says. The 3.5 V6 will always be smoother and better than any 4 cylinder turbo or hybrid 4 Cylinder. I hope Lexus doesn't ever get rid of that beautiful 3.5 V6 👍
I agree, but it will be gone. as an owner of a 2024 ES 350 the 2026 edition will be a shell of this with the 4 cylinder with garbage turbo. Even a turbo V6 is unnecessary. No 4 cyl will ever match a 6 or 8. Unfortunately those days are gone. Hold on to what you have with any N/A engine. I will keep my 05 LS 430 with 42K miles and my 24 ES 350 forever.
I have a 2019 es350 luxury. It is the perfect car for a 57 year old guy. Smooth, quiet, elegant and refined. I chose the very understated gray color. Most people don't really notice it, but up close it is clearly a quality product. I paid cash and don't anticipate a car payment for another 10 years, maybe more.
You're spot on with the hybrid. Buzzier than I'd like at high RPM's but very quiet when below 2K RPM or of course when in EV mode. The '22 is the only year with the touchpad and touchscreen as well. Kind of cool if you feel like using one or the other.
My family put a deposit down for a 2023 es300h. Been waiting very very patiently for this review. Can't wait to show this video to my parents to confirm this purchase in their mind lol. Thanks AMD, and as always keep up the fantastic work. Really proud of how far you've come as a channel and as a content creator!
I'm sorry to say this but because of the maximum reliability the car will out live you I still see some 2003 Lexus still running around the place omg just crazy.
Honestly speaking Lexus is a car often overlooked and usually trashed by car critics and reviewer but the fact that they sell in such large numbers is impeccable! Let us not review the people who buy the car but let us review the car itself. When you say that it's quiet, smooth, well built, easy to use and a stress reliever YOU ARE TALKING ABSOLUTE SENSE!! what a car... What a masterpiece
How is it overlooked if it’s still in the top 3 luxury selling brands in the nation????? And who has ever trashed a Lexus? If anything the German cars get trashed for their lack of reliability
Excellent Review! My daily commute is 45 minutes (one way) and my 2015 ES 350 makes it a pleasant commute. Yes, there are times where I would love to be able to carve winding roads with a car with more dynamic controls. However, those opportunities are rare. As I get older, I am appreciating the ride comfort of this daily driver. My 2015 model has absolutely no issues. I often debate getting a new version; when the time comes, I am glad Lexus has kept the qualities I truly appreciate about this line of cars. Thank you forr the review.
Have had 3 Lexus ES this far and haven’t been disappointed yet. Just got a new 2023 ES 300h for my wife cause the last one was totaled in accident. I drive a Camry 2019 and no complaints. Thank you for the video, could you do another one focusing on the maintenance part only, for those of us that like to do our own maintenance at home.
Your wife is one lucky woman!! The ES300h is a phenomenal vehicle. 215hp and 45 mpg while being pampered in that plush interior! Plenty of pickup in Sport mode from a dead stop (the wheels will chirp!) Every possible safety feature (radar cruise control and rear cross-traffic alert are my favorites; does it also have the panoramic cameras?)
@@carspiv I have watch a review recently that complained about the power and weight to the front wheels causes a loss in traction and that would be a definite negative for me in wet or snow conditions here on the East coast Canada.
Im 51, and have been blessed to have owned many muscle and sports cars. I've also owned two Porsche 928s during the early to late 90's. I've also owned a few hot-hatches and two American luxury cars. There is just something to like about them all. It's only been recently that my tastes have swung back to wanting a car that's serene, built simply, and built to last. I really like how the ES350 Ultra Luxury with the Mark Levinson sound system just glides down the road while I head bang to Master of Puppets.
This is the first ever video I saw from you and by being so realistic about cars like this and honest you just earned like and follow. There is not a lot of people like you out there. Keep doing the great work!
We have a 2020 es hybrid. Its an amazing car. The hybrid is quiet and powerful. Our only complaint is the safety system. You get some snow or dirt on the sensors a whole bunch of lights start flashing like a christmas tree. It becomes an unsafe distraction.
Thanks for commenting. I’m really wanting to to get an ES soon and I wanted to ask about the sensors. Are you still having issues or anything else you would like to add about the car? Also, how many sensors are there and are they easy to clean?
@@411sponge72 There are 8 or 10 sensors or cameras. Some on the nose, the rear view camera above the license plate on the trunklid edge, a camera under each side mirror. They're flat, dime- to quarter-sized, and easy peasy to clean-just a quick wipe with a terry rag. Never even needed unless they get mud or ice/snow on them.
I love how thorough that your reviews are and your informative input on each part of the vehicle. Thank you for putting so much effort into these videos!
Thank you so.much for your reviews! I bought a used 08 ES350 w/120k mi. Absolutely loved driving that car. Needed to let me daughter take this car & I miss driving it but is at 200k & still going strong. I want to eventually get a new ES350 and I REALLY like this '23 model. It looks like it would provide same driving pleasure as my 08. One other thing I love is your closing that I'll leave u with, "May the Lord bless you & keep you." God's blessings!
I truly enjoy your channel and reviews. I'm old, so I want my cd player. I don't understand the new technology. I love my 07 Avalon. After all these years I've only put 91k miles on her. When I raise the hood there's a battery right there where it should be. It looks good, no giant grill, no black wheels. It's quiet and very comfortable. I have a friend who is 6'4" tall and has plenty of head and leg room in the back seat. Most importantly to me is how completely dependable she's been. I'm a stickler for routine maintenance. I live in the south so rust is not an issue. When I bought her I had no intention of keeping her long term, now I've decided to keep her as long as I continue to drive. At some point I will pass her on to someone in the family.
I had a 2006 Avalon. Should have kept it, but my wife wanted an SUV. If you’ve only got 91k miles on your Avalon, if I were you, I’d keep it waxed, keep it maintained, and keep it a long time. IMO, it was the best looking Avalon ever made.
@OldRustySteele She is going to be my last car. Her name is Blue, and she's part of the family and the plan is for her to remain in the family long after I'm through driving. With out a doubt, the best car I've ever owned.
@@lindanelson8400 Good for you, Linda. Hope you and Blue have many miles of happy motoring! I recently bought a new Lexus ES350 (basically a slightly fancier Avalon) and I plan to run it until either it or me dies!
Used to own Camrys and bought a 2020 ES300H, and I love it. Favorite things blind spot monitor, cameras and auto braking and radar cruise control. Worse thing, no touch screen, but I got used to it. Vehicle is also a great ride for the passenger. My wife appreciates the ride.
Thinking of upgrading from a 2018 XLE Camry fully loaded to a 2019 ES 300H fully loaded w/ ultra luxury package. What do you think? I’m giving the Camry to my sister and need to upgrade and the ES feels like a no brainer, no?
Love this car. I like the clock feature. I still would like to see cd players back in the vehicles. None of the "negatives" mentioned would not detour me from buying this.
Love this car with the v6! I have a 2007 that i bought a year ago and I can't believe how nice it still is with 182K miles. My GS 400 lasted 18 years and i would still have it if not for rust. Thanks for the review!
I've got an Avalon with 130k as my daily, those 2GR engines are so low maintenance and they're no slouch off the line. Uses regular gas and gets decent mileage too
I have a 2023 ES 300h Luxury. It's perfect. I just got it recently and I have about 800 miles on it and I'm still on my SECOND TANK OF GAS!! I'll have to put my 3rd tank of regular gas into it when we take a long trip this weekend. I never could see the point of putting high octane fuel into a car that runs down the same roads and follows the same traffic laws as everyone else. I don't have that FSport chain link fence grille. I think the standard grill looks really good on this car. The swooping contours of the standard grille look really good in the thimble design. The car is very quiet. It's hard to know if the engine is running or not--who cares! It has all the speed I need to run, merge and pass on the interstates. I considered a lot of different cars before choosing this one and I'm pleased that I made the right choice for me.
I got IS300h with F Sport because I liked how it looked and I liked nicer seats. Ride is bit harsh. Apart from that it has many pros so I would like to replace it with some other Lexus with better ride comfort (some day). You are right that it's bit odd getting Lexus because we want comfort but getting it with F Sport suspension which takes away the comfort :). I like your videos because you don't do sugar coating.
I previously owned a 19 Camry 4 cylinder, which started at 30k miles in November 2020 and ended at 115k in March 2023. This was possible because I followed your maintenance suggestions, and I thank you for that. I now purchased a 22 Lexus IS 350 AWD, enjoying every second of ownership. Can you please make a maintenance video for Lexus as you did with Toyota. I feel it could the same, but I’m not sure. I really want this car to also last me for many miles like my Camry.
I have a 2020 ES350 luxury trim and absolutely love it. It’s very rewarding and satisfying behind the wheel. I know I’m in the minority but I like the track pad and prefer it. I do feel the 22-23 dash board lost a lot of character with the screen being out further.
Im assuming that the flap under the rear bumper is to stabilize it. I've noticed that the bumper sides on ES's and CT's cave in and out during freeway speeds.
My ES 300h is finally coming next week after almost 3 months of waiting. I don't like the 19" wheels so I go with the luxury package. I believe I will appreciate this decision for the comfort and the tire price. Can't wait to see that in my garage : )
New goal in life. Keep my LS460 L. Fix up the control arms and coolant leaks. Drive LS on the weekends and get this ES as a daily worry free vehicle. Amazing.
"Will never handle well." That's why I still have a GS. Ride isn't quite on the ES level but it is still very quiet and composed and the handling on the (non-F-Sport) GS is much more engaging and confidence inspiring.
GS has more ride options than ES, because it was a higher model. Check out the GS450H ride, if you want to get closer to an LS ride without the price. You can probably just switch the components around, but I would want to make sure.
Here’s something no one talks about with the (infamous) spindle grille: how to clean it. It has somewhere in the realm of 350-400 openings. Any ideas how to keep that from looking like a hot mess after the rest of the car is spotless?
I'm an owner and it's surprisingly a non-issue, maybe because it's a sort of medium grey color that hides all sins. I just wipe off the 4 or 5 sensors for the safety nannies.
You should probably drive an F-Sport Handling. It, in fact, doesn't compromise on ride quality at all. In fact, it is better than the non-F-Sport version of the car. A supple, but compliant ride that is perfection. It isn't for aggressive driving for sure.
Your comment that the F Sport Handling "doesn't compromise on ride quality at all" is not true, and has been refuted by numerous testers including C/D and Savagegeese (see the video "Last and Best Updates"). This must be pointed out so you don't mislead others.
I have a 2015 Camry. On a long drive, the ac system drain hole got clogged by rocks and flooded the interior. Had to get the back bench seat as carpets fully replaced. However, dealer was awesome, got the entire job done in two days for around $800 and they even let us walk around the car while the wchanic was working on it in the shop. Had a loner rav 4 that we really liked too. I eventually went back to that dealer to pick up an IS500 because they also had Lexus under the brad. 10/10 would recommend. Clearwater Toyota
Mr. Levinson himself posted to a discussion board some years ago. He made it clear he has no participation in most of the car stereos that bear his name. It's just one of Harman-Kardon's many car stereo brand names now.
I fell in love with the ES350 in 2008 when I bought one new. Such a great car that I just bought a 2023 ES350 with the F sport appearance package. A beautiful car which I'm sure will last me another 14 years. BTW, still have the 2008 which my kids now drive. I totally agree though about the FSport handling version. I test drove it and wasn't that impressed with the ride comfort or with the seats for that matter. Heads up display was cool though.
Hey AMD every time I watch one of your videos when you like one of these nice cars makes me wanna go out and buy all of them. You’re too good at what you do. I enjoy your videos. You got a great voice and your very informative. Thank you so much.
I have now had an ES350 since 2012. Just love how quiet it is on the highway. I am resisting upgrading from the 2017 ES 350, but looking at your video with great interest to see if it will be worth it.
I hope to own one of these someday soon. I just want to have a car that completely focuses on comfort and luxury without being expensive and unreliable. 300hp V6 and FWD are completely fine with me when the car is quiet and relaxing with that hint of power when I want it, but always with a plush and well-damped suspension.
I must be the only person who enjoys the 💿 player in my LC500 & GX460. I have never used it, but having them there reminds me of my youth tremendously.
Nope I specifically bought a ‘21 ES with extremely low miles mainly because it was the last year with a CD/DVD player. It also helped my ES is a loaded F Sport missing on the HUD and rear window shade
6 months, and 17500km later, 2023 Lexus ES350, I love how smooth it is. Definitely not a sports car, but the V6 is does move. I’m 6’2 and people behind me have plenty of room. Good on gas, about 500km per tank or 625 -650 km highway. The base stereo is made by Pioneer, no complaints. On a few occasions the infotainment screen went black, don’t know why, had to shut off the car and was fine after. The paint is excellent. No chips as of yet with mostly highway driving. If you’re looking for a vehicle that you want to keep till the end, consider the ES.
Great video, the ES is elegant, luxurious, yet practical. My dad got the 2023 300H a few months ago and he absolutely loves it. I had a 2021 XSE Camry hybrid and even though these vehicles have the same engine and powertrain, the drive quality is much better in the 300H. From acceleration to cabin noise, the ES is much more refined. So if you want a Camry’s practicality with quality luxury, spend the extra $10k and invest in the ES, you won’t be disappointed.
@@rightlanehog3151 yeah it’s sad but I think they did it because of the Crown coming into our market. Toyota keeps teasing more variants of it coming here as well.
For almost two decades I was a Honda buyer, had everything from a Civic Si, Fit, CRV, Odyssey and even a beautiful S2000. However, I find myself now leaning more into buying the Toyota/Lexus brand, and this car is perfect. No forced induction issues. A simple, proven and tested V6 3.5L that takes regular gas, can’t beat that. Awesome review as always. Love your video!
I can’t count the number of times thatI have returned to watch this video. The ES350 has to be my number one pick for a vehicle in its class but I am unsure whether I would be happy with a hybrid. When I drive at my age of 75, I want to drive in comfort and the ES would suit me. The only problem is availability. Price is a chocker but I am willing to pay it. How many more cars will I be buying? This one will outlast me!
Got one of these in 2015...its a keeper. Other than some paint wear and tear on the front, the rest of the car looks like new after nearly 80k miles. JUST WORKS. And the crazy thing, it replaced an 07 Avalon...which was the same...just a joy to own.
Thanks for this review. I am looking at a 2023-2024 ES300h to replace my 2003 ES300 with 185,000 miles on the odometer. I absolutely love that car, but want something with better gas mileage (ideally a hybrid) and since it is now over 20 years old and in the rusty land of Minnesota as AMD calls it, I imagine it will have to be replaced at some point so most likely I will get a new car in the next 3 years. You nailed why I bought this car in the first place. I wanted a luxury car and I initially looked at BMW, Mercedes, Audi etc and they all scored terribly on reliability. The ES is my daily driver. From the 45m commute to work one way to 12 hour summer road trips it does exactly what I want: it is comfortable, it is quiet, it is reliable, and it simply gets out of the way. Over a decade of ownership later, I still smile when I drive it because it is relaxing. Is the 300h that loud or is it in comparison to the 350 with the V6 option? The ES I have is very quiet indeed especially on the highway cruising so I hope a 4 cylinder with a CVT isn't going to be overly loud.
I’m honestly not big on Toyota or Lexus but if I was in the market for a new car I would consider this. I like the idea of avoiding the turbo and having real controls for climate etc. , and regular gas ! Is this fondness for the simpler controls “ old school “ , yes but you don’t need complicated controls when you’re moving down the highway at 65 . This overall sold me on the car . I’m an avid viewer of your videos , so I can learn more about Toyotas and Lexus’ as family members do own them. I really enjoy your honesty and details !
Hello AMD!, I have a 2010 Lexus RX350, and I know Lexus dropped the premium fuel requirement on the mid-cycle refresh (around 2013) while keeping the same engine 2GR-FE. I have seen conflicting reports on if using regular would be safe to use on an earlier model like mine and am wondering what your experience has been? Thank you for your time
Hello, and I congratulate you on your important channel, your cute personality, and your professionalism in explaining and simplifying the details. I want to thank you very much because you clarified many things to me that were vague and that we do not know anything about, especially in the field of hybrid technology. On the electric system. Thank you again..by The way I'm following you from Australia.
I notice the the blue in the “L” badging is gone. Also the crease and “hybrid” badging on the back door panel. Is there a reason for these changes? I have a ‘22 ES300h and really like it!
The debate over the ever-growing Lexus grill makes one ponder a larger question... Why have true bumpers disappeared from vehicles over the last 40 years? Cars used to have much more physical separation between front bumpers and grills and rear bumpers and tailgates / liftbacks / trunks and quarter panels. Yea, this streamlined the look of the car and aerodynamics but now ANY front or rear collision - even a minor tap - is a $3500 repair rather than a swap of a bumper cover. No need to wonder why car insurance costs have skyrocketed.
Styling and cost. Some of the structures under these plastic bumper covers are little more than a block of styrofoam. And they're not required by law to take an impact with no damage, just no damage to safety systems. (Some can't even do that, so don't ask me.)
I drive a base Camry LE hybrid and I feel the car is a steal for the price. It feels incredibly quiet(smaller rim/thicker tire), decently powerful and 50mpg! How does this ES compare to the Camry in terms of refinement/quietness?
Same here. I am happy with my Camry LE Hybrid. But the truth is...the ES has a different suspension and it is noticeably quieter inside. I drove that one too. The whole mindset of how the ES is built, is different. I went for the Camry because of budget constraint at an excellent finance offer. But the ES is otherwise worth the upgrade.
I have a 2016 Camry and a 2013 ES. There is a night and day difference between the two. You can literally fall asleep in the ES. It’s basically a luxury Camry.
My dad got a 2019 Lexus es300h and he loves it. Someone slightly hit the front end in the parking lot and those triple beam headlights cost 3000 to replace.
The older I get...the more I like cars like this. The ultimate in luxury is not having to think about your car at all.
That's the exact market for Lexus, old people

@SSH What car do you drive?
I have a 2007 Camry, have never had any issues with it and it still runs beautifully.
Just bought one 2 weeks ago. Rides like a dream…just a spectacular car.
He doesn’t talk enough about the ride and quiet. I wanted to know why I buy this over the Toyota, other than the branding. Most of what he talked about he reminds us is the same in the Camry.
What color did you get?
@@coletcthe ride is not the same as the camry. This car is way better.
The way AMD talks about the thud sound while closing the door and the difference in sound of the front doors and back doors! That just tells you who he is and why we follow him. It's these small things we gear head love.
Just became the proud owner of a 2014 ES350 ultra luxury. It’s everything I want in a car and more. Couldn’t be happier.
Sitting in one right now. Owned for 8 years and I had no clue when I bought it that I was buying what is quite possibly the best built luxury sedan on the market. Absolutely fantastic
I own a 2008 ES 350, and at its age, with 127,000, it still runs like new. Super reliable.
Thats bmw, and on top of that you got the worst model. Complete trash those 7 series😂.

Same reason I dumped the last pos Audi I owned. So glad those nightmares are behind me. Owning Lexus new and used is a joy.
Man, this guy does the best videos! He’s a natural.
The speed pick up is so fast you can literally be going 90 and it feels like 60.
If you want to avoid tickets, cruise control is your friend.
AMD, We can hardly wait for you to get a Toyota Crown in your shop so you can compare it to the Lexus ES. I will also join with you in imploring Lexus to STOP THE F SPORT MADNESS!!! 🤨
Thanks RLH
I just picked up my is500 last week and my salesman had bought a crown that was delivered to the dealership at the same time. He was pretty excited and spent some time showing it too me. It's a cool car, I still think I would take an es over it though.

@@lionintu Yes. Wired in '22, wireless in '23.
Do think the leather is really better? The other items in that trim worth it or just ok?
I’ll buy this car one day
I bought a 2020 ES300h ultra luxury recently. I absolutely love it! Coming from a 2012 Camry LE hybrid which I recently passed down to my son for a first car.

Love the ES, as I’ve said on your channel a few times I have a 2002 ES300 now w 175k miles. i even I sold my 2013 ES350 to get rid of a $470 monthly payment and higher insurance and bought my ES300.

19:59 I feel called out, I used the CD player in my old Toyota when I bought it until I got a new head unit that could take a USB, call me crazy but I like owning a physical copy of as much of my music collection as possible.
U should , it's old tech lol you have access to millions of songs at a touch not separately lol
@@SaxaphoneMan42 Totally agree with you! No cd player means I will buy a used ES350 with a cd player 👍
I don't care what anyone says. The 3.5 V6 will always be smoother and better than any 4 cylinder turbo or hybrid 4 Cylinder. I hope Lexus doesn't ever get rid of that beautiful 3.5 V6 👍
They will
My only complaint: accelerator lag.
ME too. Please, please don't ever kick that naturally aspirated bulletproof 2gr
The lefties and their energy crap will get rid of it!
I bought the 2024 ES350. It is my second as I gave my 2012 ES350 to my son while he is in medical school. Best car with no mechanical issues at all.
My son also, but he gets the new one. 😢
I bought a ES 350 2022. I LOVE IT! Lexus know how to make a car.
I have a 2017 ES350 with 20.800 miles on it. The best car that i ever owned.
I wonder if this is the same hybrid on the Toyota Highlander?
My 05 es 330 216k miles still going strong, quiet n not bad a bad mileage car
Who reviews the people that buy the car?

That was a great generation of the ES. Very luxurious inside.
The way you explain is perfect, I enjoy it , even didn’t felt it was 32 minutes video
Your plan is sound. I don's think there is a sedan on the market today that can accommodate a 6'4" passenger in the back seat.

Love this car with the v6! I have a 2007 that i bought a year ago and I can't believe how nice it still is with 182K miles. My GS 400 lasted 18 years and i would still have it if not for rust. Thanks for the review!
I've got an Avalon with 130k as my daily, those 2GR engines are so low maintenance and they're no slouch off the line. Uses regular gas and gets decent mileage too
haha my 2007 Toyota Camry six only has 67K on it. Probably worth more money than most 2007s!
my 05 avalon lmtd, i am driving right now has 225k and going. i am thinking of getting a es 350 not sure if i need f sport or not
@27:40, Thank you for advocating your voice for luxury & Nice daily drive experience but have an option for sporty looks.
How do the seats compare to Nissan's Zero Gravity seats?
Probably less cushy, but in the Luxury and Ultra Luxury trims, more adjustable.
Just bought a 2023 ES 350. Love it!
Just leased this one for my 5th Lexus and I love it!
Congrats on your IS350, its one hell of a car.
115k is child's play on a Camry..!
A Camry will go 100k+ miles with little or no maintenance. Taking care of the car will get you 200k+.
Basically the same way, is it run on premium?
it’s the same thing, Camry’s aren’t hard to get to 200k 😂
I have a 2020 ES350 luxury trim and absolutely love it. It’s very rewarding and satisfying behind the wheel. I know I’m in the minority but I like the track pad and prefer it. I do feel the 22-23 dash board lost a lot of character with the screen being out further.
Im assuming that the flap under the rear bumper is to stabilize it. I've noticed that the bumper sides on ES's and CT's cave in and out during freeway speeds.
I test drove this yesterday. Absolute gem of a vehicle!
I feel like an idiot I have a 2020 ES ultra luxury and didn't know about the hook onto the weather strip,😅 you learn something new everyday.
My ES 300h is finally coming next week after almost 3 months of waiting. I don't like the 19" wheels so I go with the luxury package. I believe I will appreciate this decision for the comfort and the tire price. Can't wait to see that in my garage : )
Congratulations on your sound judgment.
what wheel size did you get. You will regret larger wheels as the ride will suffer!
New goal in life. Keep my LS460 L. Fix up the control arms and coolant leaks. Drive LS on the weekends and get this ES as a daily worry free vehicle. Amazing.
That's a helluva car you've got there. I'd just fix it and daily it.
After watching this video and such amazing reviews by this real mechanic I decided to buy one. I’m picking it up tomorrow.
You seem like an honest person trying to get reliable information out there. Keep up the good work!!
@@tonysterbenc That’s ridiculous. Car reviewers are wrong regularly. My wife and I own both cars. I am 100% correct.

Head up display is also available on non-F Sport trims.

It is a pity they stopped making the Avalon Hybrid which gave another option.

Same here, honda guy for years. Must have had a dozen or so from 1972-1916 inclluding a 4wd Civic wagon!! All good but the 300H is calling me..
Could you please do a video on 2023 Lexus Rx 350 hybrid.
Thanks.
My 2010 Camry V6 runs GREAT! 25-28 in combined driving, hiway 30-32 Just getting broke in good
I can’t count the number of times thatI have returned to watch this video.
I'm 76. Get the hybrid, you won't regret. Better instant acceleration (had 2017 ES350), up to 44 MPG mostly freeways. Battery will outlast you.
Been debating and wondering myself between the 24 300h or 24 v6 idk which to pick
I really enjoy your honesty and details !
this is why I continue to keep my 2007 Camry six cylinder!
Of what car company are you a fan?
I think they ran out of blue paint and letters!
The ES has always been my favorite of Lexus, and Luxury cars in general.
Great Points Made. I cannot wait to hear your opinion on the Toyota Crown. It goes into ES pricing but seems to have several compromises.
Savagegeese reviewed the US version of the Crown, so take a look at that video. Frankly, the ES350 is a much better car for about the same price.
My sincerest congrats to anybody that manages to buy one of these. I bet it's a really nice car. I wish I had one 😆
I wish that for you, too.
My dad got a 2019 Lexus es300h and he loves it. Someone slightly hit the front end in the parking lot and those triple beam headlights cost 3000 to replace.
Yes, they do. But boy, do they light up the road.
@@tonysterbenc they look better than any other headlight tho at least in my opinion.
@@mohammadabdullahkhan360 I like 'em, both to look at and to see with.
