I changed my mind to get Crown XLE over Camry XSE day before. I have no regret!! I know Camry looks better on the road but i went with Japan made!! Litte more head room than Camry also i don't see many of them on the road yet. Built quality is awesome(previously Mercedes GLS owners)
I drive a wonderful Solara that I have had many years and will not change but decided to change my wife’s Lincoln MKZ for a Toyota… tried the Camry..felt very tight for me in passenger and very much so in the back and would have been uncomfortable after a short distance ..totally different in the Crown. As well as other considerations we purchased a 12 month old Crown for $14000 less than new. After 6 months and 8000 miles we are very happy with our choice
New Camry uses 5th gen hybrid. Crown uses 4th gen hybrid. 5th gen is so much more responsive with more electric torque. It also gets better gas mileage. The Crown excels in ride comfort.
I am in the market to purchase a new vehicle ,it is between the Camry XSE or a Crown Limited. There is something a I it the Crown that screams unique and rugged .
I dont know why this is Camry vs Crown ? The Avalon was replaced by the Crown . I prefer thr Avalon more . Im tall i fit in the Avalon better . The Avalon drove and rode alot better . I prefered the V6 in the Avalon. The Avalon i also felt from my experience with both better suited for long highway trips
i bought camry 25 SE 2 months back, its looks are better than XSE becusae bumper has black mesh instead of same color mesh grill, black looks good. crown looks good only on TV :)
@@romansrides6647 one thing i dont like about xse camry and crown is that seats are perforated and i fear that if i spill something liquid will go in holes, whereas camry SE has flat "leather" seats.
Thank you for such a detailed review. I was set on a 25 Camry and had never even heard of the Crown, and ended up getting a 24 Crown XLE because I got it for less than the 25 Camry because the dealer was trying to make room for the 25 vehicles. Unfortunately, my 24 Crown ended up being totaled at 2,500 miles. By then, I was so spoiled by the Crown that I replaced the totaled 24 with a new 25 Crown XLE, because I just can't imagine driving any other vehicle after driving the Crown.
If they add what the JDM crowns have to the North American models it would jack up the price and then people like you would complain it’s too expensive. So they dumb it down to keep the costs down.
I drove both and decided to go with Camry xse heavy metal, fully loaded. Cheaper and drives way better than the crown. I wish they kept the Avalon instead of this mess mixture.

The Japanese version of the Crown is 100x better than the North American. I'm sad this is what we get...
@@ThatsMrTaylor2u it’s true
What is the difference between the Japanese and North American one?

i mean your comparing a base model xle to a top of the line crown in japan…
@@ThatsMrTaylor2ulooks pretty much the same to me. My crown Signia limited is also made in Japan.
A Crown costs nearly the same as a Lexus ES300! But you get more in a Lexus. Its hard to justify the Crown unless they drop the price by $15k.

Camry for commuter car 100%. Just not a white Camry, white looks too appliance like in lower trims. So many better color options available.

Nah the crown is wayyy better looking!
there’s camrys on every corner you look, so imo the crown looks way better because it’s more rare to see
if its not Longitudinal front-engine, rear-wheel-drive crown is not a real crown and can go in the bin
