Hi Did the jet clean fix your Honda generator. Mine did the same, was working fine, not used for 12 months and now it wont run without choke. Prior to seeing your youtube article I had meticulously cleaned carb as you are doing and checked for air leaks, replaced the plug but no joy. I found one other youtuber who had the same symptoms, did all the same, couldnt make it run and eventually claimed his generator stator had a short and hence honda motor was overloaded and would die without choke - but I don't think so. This has to be a fueling issue, give it a little extra fuel or starter fluid it runs fine.
Hey buddy. Is it possible my main jet doesn't have a hole going all the way from top to bottom? I have the little holes on along the side, but it doesn't seem like I could pass anything parallel to the jet...

I usedthe wire in a battery powered drill- really helped speed the process up- thanks for the idea of using the wire

9% vinegar , and the ultrasonic .I know it cleans the carbs up nice .
Torch tip cleaners work really good if used gently

Its just very clogged
Sorry, but the tolerances are bored w/great precision; wire risks damaging the carb - - - use fishing line
Copper should be softer than the brass jet

Boiling water I guess will remove all dirt.
Bought pilot jet approx 50 cents coz found no wire at home and I can't ask some stranger!
The wire trick isn’t working. The clog is too thick
Nethter if its too much trouble, jets are pretty cheap.
