This episode is full of great quotes for 4WD 24-7 T-shirts like "Roll it, don't stall it", "It feels wrong, but you gotta do it", "You can't be wrong twice in a row", "We're in this together", "He's hitting trees, he's excited", and "Tell him to back down and have a REAL GO".
Rev It And Dump It 😅
Tony is an absolute legend, every trip needs someone that just sends it on the hardest tracks
Good to finally see a Landy on the show, need to see more of that thing!
Its been a long time coming aye!
Jts solutions had a defender and has been on the show with shuan and Graham heaps of times
@@4WD247I wanna see a lil nugget of a D22 in a budget build. Let's see some torsion bar sillyness
Hell yeah, can’t wait until it breaks down!
@@BFT88shouldn't do, landys are built tough. Reliability ain't as good as toyota but hell a proper defender with an experienced driver would slap about a Toyota offroad😂
loved seeing the defender in action, would love to see more landys making an appearance
I've always wondered their opinion on an oldschool D1 or D2
@@fsantaca same here, personally it'd be a d1 200tdi, far to much can go wrong with with the d2/td5 engine
Reckon that defenders a 300tdi?
@@ethanvandever6399 sounded like it and smoke like it lol
Now imagine a defender with a proper driver in it. (No offense to the guy, we all have to start somewhere)
Finally more Land Rover content. Brilliant
Got to admit I am a Toyota owner but I do like that GME patrol it’s a weapon
Jesse's very precise instructions to Tony on driving his GQ shows exactly how well he knows those trucks. "Just rev it up and step off the clutch like a diving board" is probably the clearest thing he could have said to get him in the right mindset to commit to the drive.
When will we see the comp truck out again or did it fund a shed and hoist?
Not if you have any inkling of mechanical sympathy and risk breaking a component - and then compounding the recovery, just like trying to drive on front drive in a car that is known to have weak front drive components.
@@trickster8635 like there was any other viable alternatives at that point. The GQ was clearly set up to take that amount of abuse and is a proven reliable platform with those mods. Not like it's on 37s punching out 300hp and 1000nm...
gqs are just about the toughest japanese 4wd out@@trickster8635
Nissan
@@trickster8635 spoken like someone that has never driven a nissan GQ/GU
As a UK Pom it's great to see a Landy doing some hard Aussie tracks. We have some fun tracks in Wales but nothing like you guys have.
Our tracks are rubbish. Yet to find anything that cant be done in a bone standard discovery
Australia and NZ have some wild yet beautiful tracks. We're very lucky over here.
@@jackp-j1041 Indeed, all the good ones are gone now. If you want adventure we have to drive to Morocco now.
@@cameronwood1994 Real shame, it makes 4WDing so needlessly expensive. Its thousands just in fuel to go all the way down there, and the ferries, and then youve got to know where to look for them...
Definitly loving the defender! need the keys to another!
That Gq is by far the best rig there. super capable. Took stupid abuse. No breakages
Its very nice to see you loving your home tracks and at the same time giving us yanks our props for our great four wheeling. Thanks boys for a great vid. Cant wait for Moab. And for the next vid. Frazier Island! Epic!. Been there so many times with you guys. Think I need to bring my Swag!
This is ridiculous with these vehicles, but I'm impressed. Well done boys.
Finally a Defender showing up here (Yes I know there has been one before but .....) And showing that despite the age of the design, it can still handle anything thrown at it. Well done the 110 (Or is it a 130?) you rock.
Absolutely loving the defender 130. My next build after the comp spec gq will be a single cab 110 with twin locked GU front and rear diffs with re4 auto and Isuzu 4jj1 running some juicy engine mods. Absolutely can't wait
The stuff you guys do is incredible. The average joe blogs would sh*t their pants sitting in the passenger seat !! haha. Have you ever thought of popping over the ditch and doing some NZ tracks?
You could show them some tracks mate!
Gq, keeping it simple but will take you anywhere!
As for the giveaway. We would take a new awning and swag to the high country, we can’t wait to get there
It seems like it would be a good idea to put weaker cv axles in the 200 as those are easier to replace, and lighter to stock more cvs
Great to finally see a Land Rover on the channel!
It amazes me how small a tire y'all run down under. In America grocery getters run 33's. Hahaha... But man would I LOVE to run some trails in Australia. ❤
The law enforcement officers like to ping the 4x4s that are sporting anything larger than a legally allowed tyre or engineering approved for it which isn't cheap for most younger enthusiasts who just wanna go 4x4ing on weekends
Australia despite its toughness is governed by a nanny state of politics, 1 law and 1 fine per square metre. 35's are the best you are allowed and no overhang from the guard whatsoever.
@@buryitdeep 37's here in Tassie.
Love watching Sooty on the tracks 😊 any episode with Shauno, Jesse and Jock are always off tap 😊
GQ is a weapon! Miss my old girl 😭
Great video guys! Always a good watch, just wanted to point out that you can't generalize USA wheeling to just the West Coast. There are thousands of miles between where you were and the east coast tracks, and a very different climate. The southeast I suspect will be more similar to what you're used to, smaller rock steps than out West but very muddy. The Northwest is also very muddy and wet be sure to check out both in your next USA trip!
Finally some Land Rover content!!😍😍😍 Makes it even better!
Tony’s a legend wheeling the GQ like a boss - for what it’s worth I’d be taking that awning & swag straight to the Victorian high country 🔥
Great to see the Land Rover Defender in the mix.
Wow! These episodes just get better! I cant seem to keep track and order of them, perhaps the next episode link or name in the description? Tony is a legend btw! Its the beard that makes him king! 😂😂
Parts to you on the track same day that night !!! Can we please say this is freaking gloriously awesome. Nothing like that available almost anywhere in the states. Those blokes are absolute champs and legends for making those trackside repairs possible. Just WOW. Cheers to you all and them. That awning and swag would tour all over Costa Rica with me!
Look I’ll be honest, that patrol of Tony’s would be so good to drive 🤤
And that bushwacka set up, would definitely take that up to cape York when I finally get the chance to go up there
I like seeing a Defender. Next time maybe a 110 TD5, that would be wonderful!
Great to see a Defender join the pack!
About time a defender had some time on here love to see it .
Yes!! Finally a defender on the trip!
Great looking defender and good to see a landy on the channel need more
Stoked to see a Rover in the lineup.
Just purchased the ranger raptor nothing would make life easier then to have the new mods in this episode.
About time you boys got a new raptor doing a few tracks to show its capabilities.
Hell yeah good to see NOTA79 back given full send 😂
Would love abit bushwakka gear as trying to get my rig ready for cape next season
My husband just bought the new ranger raptor. Nothing would make him more happy than the new gear you’ve shown this episode. Love the show, you guys need to get the new raptor involved in the show to show its 4wding capabilities!
Love how you supported a young blood, I remember Roothy giving Shauno tips
Finally a DEFENDER!!! All ways wanted to see how one does on aus tracks
Living the dream. Cheers boys, for letting me live vicariously through you all 🤙🏼
Love the Bushwakka set up ..!
I wouldn’t take it anywhere I’d take it everywhere.!!😂
with that awning and swag it wouldn't matter where it was taken, a good combo's to make anywhere a camp site 👌
Sooty would be my pick every day of the week! And I’d take the bushwakka setup absolutely everywhere, starting with Fraser!
good to see a Devender in there they would keep up with all the other 4wds
Would love to head up to the glasshouse mountains with my new awning and swag or maybe Tassie. i think you forgot to mention the mighty GQ ute, thats my choice of truck.
Love seeing the Landy on the channel.
With that epic set up I'd finaly be going with the old man from Vic over to the simpson desert then making our way over to WA checking out their 4x4 coastal beache scene, ticking off some of the bucket list 😁
26:19 asks which rig i'd want the keys to but doesnt mention the mighty GQ....?
i'd want that nissan😂😂
Can we get a walk round of the Defender?? Looks like a really nice bit of kit.
I'm off to the Simpson next year in my HJ47. An awning and swag would be the perfect final piece of the puzzle to get the old farm truck ready😉
I'm putting that BUSHWAKKA on my new TB48 NISSAN PATROL S3 and taking that set up straight to Morton Island to escape the heat and quick camp set up by far the best quality equipment going around!!!
Great episode, as a 200 series owner, I feel for Liam, but great bush/city repairs, gives us cruiser owners hope. As for the Bushwakka set up, the glass house mountains for me.
I’d be taking that bushwakka swag and awning to my dream drive on the other side of the country, cape York !!
Blowfly Spur in the Victorian High Country would be the perfect place to take the BUSHWAKKA setup.
Blowfly Spur overlooks Mt Hotham and the iconic Blue Rag!
Snow on the mountains and clouds in the valley at Dawn it’s absolute magic 👌🏼
I will send you a pic when it’s all set up 😉
The Monster Defender please. Can carry what I want while looking good!
Great to finally see a Landy on the channel!! Beautiful vehicle and great video - thanks for another adventure, lads! 🤙
Sooty obviously.. D-max hard 2ND.. Preferably The Dirty 30
Defender all day boys, my dream 4x4
I see on one of the moab rescue channels where they shorted a welding rod to the broken stub of a CV in the diff just pulled it out. Another great episode. I just love to watch 😅
If Jesse was spotting the Ever Given through the Suez Canal it wouldn't of run aground. Dude is a pro.
If I had that set up I'd be taking it on my many trips in the Canadian backcountry roads that lead me throughout BC. They are never ending and the weather can change on a dime. Thanks for all the great adventures via you bloody beeeauties.
If I have the awning and the swag I’d take it anywhere … down the park with the kids right through to the tele track and just love every moment of it
If I had that setup, I'd take it to the VIC high country with my sons! Nothing quite like a bit of father-son's time!
Would like the DEFENDER no doubt. Only one locker on the rear!
I reckon that awning and swag combo should get the three islands treatment.. Straddie, Moreton then K'gari. Maybe a cheeky stop over at Bribie on the way up the coast.
I’d pack the Bushwakka gear on our Hilux and drive right up to the imfamous Derby-Gibb River Road! It would also be the perfect excuse to get of the Bushwakka rooftop tents for a full touring setup for such a once-in-a-lifetime trip😍Top of my bucket list!!
Guys I would love that bushwakka set up... It would be absolutely perfect because I'll be setting off to coffs harbour to buy my dad's 4wd (which will be my first) and were gonna do an epic road trip back up to Darwin together, camping, exploring and fishing our way up the sunny east coast, then cutting in just before townsville because we both want to see the dinosaur stampede tracks and go digging for thunder eggs 😎 That set up would just really make the whole trip.. I've been looking into the bushwakka gear but I wouldn't be able to to afford it before our adventure unfortunately. So I couldn't miss the chance to throw my hat in the ring!!!
Love watching your adventures guys :) you're what got me into the hobby so thanks very much!!
Would definitely use a Bushwakka awning and swag to explore my back garden of the Pilbara and Kimberley, just coming into the perfect seasons for weather protection, the heat of the Pilbara and the Wet of the Kimberley!
Sooty is still my favorite. The glamour of the 200 wears off quickly when you discover how many spares you have to bring on a trip
That trip was hard on the gear!
That bushwakker gear would go straight to the high country as soon as I can get time off work. Thanks boy’s
Good to see that Isaac Butterfield has joined your channel to drive the Stedi car for this episode.
Misses and myself would love that set up while seeing Dargo for the first time
Defender😍 finally one on the show 👍 i hop to see it now more often
If i had that epic setup with the Bushwakka swag and awning, i'd be chucking them straight onto the old Ford Maverick/GQ Patrol and heading up to the Vic High Country for the holidays!!!
Man, I just did glassy the other day and it was wild in the luxy, I would love to go to cape York palms creek with the 270 wing and blow up swag, it’d help the travelling dream. 🤙🤙
Great Chanel lads, me and my sons love watching your adventures. Love the positivity no matter what happens. You guys are setting a great example for the younger viewers. If we have a chance to set up the Bushwakka awning on the ranger we would love to head out to Wadbilliga National Park and explore the sapphire coast. Keep up the good work!!
Winning the Bushwakka setup would certainly make for more comfortable family trips when heading to the Vic high country, particularly the awning considering the weather is hit and miss down here in Victoria. Cheers
Nice to see a Landrover out there.
Shauno wouldn't know himself having some decent rubber.
That defenders a nice unique looking unit
That awning and swag would look mint on the hot white sand of Fraser Island. Epic video as always boys keep up the good work 👍
Being a landrover man, the Defender every day of the week
How about that Stedi 200. Definitely a place in my garage for it.
Bushwakka combo would see me through some regular trips to the beach and camping with the family. What a mint awning setup!
Wheeling in Fraser is a dream to come true to have such a beautiful place in my backyard, having the ultimate bushwakka combo would be epic to get out there and explore every last bit of out beautiful land.
That would be the perfect addition to my new rig build, I would be taking a trip out to Moab with that addition to my setup. Speaking of Moab, I’ve heard you all mention driving it while you were in the states. Are we going to get a Moab video? You all are single handedly inspiring my first 4wd rig build.
Hey from America! Love seeing you guys pushing the limits of your rigs. 💪🏽
Awesome episode
I’m look forward to Fraser Island episode as I passed you guys on the Island on your way north just of the barge, and Shaun in the 200 on Inskip.
The Awning and Swag would work a treat in the Vic High Country.
I’m am taking my 7 year old son for his first overnight 4wd trip in Early Feb, to Crooked River track into Talbotville. It would be nice to show the awning and swag off to all the mates coming with us.
Shaun you need to build a d110 wagon for your next rig or a 90 would entertain all of us
Ahhhhh lovely jubly an ol landy in the mix. Been stoked to see how a landy compares!
If I had that setup, I might give it a go in Romania in winter. That awning would be a gamechanger :D
I just bought a new car 3 weeks ago and moving to Adelaide next year, Coffs is my main stop on the way and that awning and swag would serve a treat 🤙🏼
28:17 I would definitely head south to the high country. Having these on the big Pajero would be amazing
That Defender is a BEAST
Some pretty hardcore tracks and even more hardcore wrenching. Thumbs up to Liam for hanging in there.
I would definitely take this setup into the VIC High Country!! What an amazing give away. It would definitely upgrade the 4x4 setup
Yes!! A landrover!!! Finally 😅
ripper episode guys! I have an 80 series that is in need of a awning and plenty of space up top for a swag! first stop with that would be in the Otways down here in lowest point of VIC! Stunning place highly recommend a trip down!
Bushwakka setup would be mint to win. Keen to have that setup and take it to the high country next year!
Also, awesome to see a sweet landy on the show!
Love seeing Tony's GQ in episode ... amazing 4bie
The GQ did not disappoint
That Bushwakka setup would be the perfect combo to hit the pristine coast around south east SA, Robe Specifically. Would be the perfect addition to my trip for early 2024! 🤙🏻
