You blokes should go look for the crashed WW2 B24 bomber called “Little Eva”. Theres no tracks going to it and is a forgotten part of Aus History. It crashed near Burketown, Queensland.

One thing in common is our daily commute in rural area in Malaysia is as hard as these route and I'd love to show you guys how bad the track is during monsoon. I'd be grateful for the raptor as I'm currently restoring my Toyota LN106, one that I used to bring food supplies to the Native people in the remote area almost daily. G'day!

I don't think I've enjoyed one of your adventures more than this one. I was invested in every minute of this trail restoration. Ah, and finishing up at my old 'local'. It was 35km one-way drive to The Den from home. Before they cleaned up and laid bitumen down from Bloomfield, up the range to the Mulligan, it would take 45 minutes to an hour or so to get there, depending on the condition of the road, so picking up takeaways was a mission that usually ended up with us sleeping in the car because you can't stop at The Den and not have a beer or two and a catch up with the other locals. After the road was done, it was a 20-30 minute drive, depending on how well you knew the road. Luxury!

Pretty normal really. You are aware diff locks didn't become fashionable until 10-15 years ago? Until popularised by the media people would spend money on useless shit. A Jeep TJ would have crawled it without a diff lock as well, so would a Nissan Patrol of the era.

The Curtis Track in the Otways, VIC, about three months ago, began closing in on us early in the piece, with a decent dose of pin striping on both sides, until we got to the end and found the gate locked! Turn around and do it all again. Double pin striping! A Raptor coat would have been ideal instead of staring down the barrel of a respray.

Branches and china apple bushes just seem to be attracted to the paintwork, dad can’t wait for my Ute to be done so we don’t have to keep scratching up his!, raptor would definitely save my panels in the near future and would greatly be appreciated!. I’ve built the entire thing in a small garden shed at home and am not to far off finishing the body work ready for paint. the raptor kit would be of great help for future prospects out bush so my car can be protected and not full of bush stripes by the end of my trip haha. was inspired to raptor coat my car after watching the transformation of jockos lux and Shaunos 80 and seeing how much it can take! cheers!

50:05 There is a property at the bottom of the Gap Creek range road between Bloomfield and Rossville and their driveway is a mission on a good day. At different times over the past 70 years, various methods were employed to make the first creek crossing across Gap Creek passable for vehicles most of the year including 2WDs. I believe it was concreted way back in the day. That got washed away after a few wet seasons. Then, a set of old dozer tracks were laid across the creek. Well, they kinda washed away too. The last time I crossed it, in 2011 in the 60 series wagon with the flash Sunraysias and fat sand tyres, it was just the back to how nature wanted it. Boulders. The old dozer tracks are still there just downstream of the crossing. It's a very deceptive ford, because the water is very clear, yet is running across what are essentially rapids, so picking your line to avoid sump or diff- killing boulders or holes can be tricky. Anyway, I'm rambling on. That upper Daintree/Cedar Bay area is very close to my heart. It's my spiritual home.

Lifting the camera truck using the winch is quite a move, reminds me of that Gods Must Be Crazy movie

Awesome episode guys. Always a fantastic mix if fun, inspiration, good advice and showing off some good gear.
I'm keen to paint my D22 Navara with Raptor Coat. Last time I took her through the bush to rescue my mate on his 450 dirt bike, I had to drive some super narrow tracks (because they're motorbike tracks), I scored some pretty nasty scratches. Good result though, had some fun and picked up my mate and his bike.

Is this track now opened up to the public, being an old stock route? Do we need to obtain permission from PJ to access? How can we go about driving this track?

What an unreal experience! I’m a bit of a princess when it comes to scratching up my Ranger! So getting my hands on the raptor coating would give me some piece of mind when hitting up the tracks 🤞🏽

What a trip!! Definitely aspire to getting my 4wd ready to do a track like that, building up my ZD30 Navara and it could definitely use the Raptor when I've taken it out on the Powerline tracks, the trees have gouged it good
