Yes to the camping, catch & cook, and general good times!

Amen brother to a better year for sure! Put this towards rear steer!
Kudos for adjusting your life choices. Usually people don't come to your realization until they are almost out of those years, or are already out of those years.
Thanks, dude 👍. I want to always be learning and improving. Momentum seems to be the secret to success, so I just gotta keep moving and growing
or, like me.. have a stroke and not be able to do stuff anymore,,

We are here for you and the content you provide, You being the key part of the content. Excited to see you get back to where this all started. You put in the effort to get here, now it's time to enjoy what you have busted your ass to build. 🤙
@@DirtLifestylewisdom 👍
Catch and Cook vote!
Johns rig is absolutely amazing. I would love a breakdown/walk around video of it.
Excited for more build content from you this year! Those are my favorite videos. Health is wealth, and stress is the biggest silent killer of health. Keep on keepn on man!
I agree! I would love to see a video showcasing this rig!
Me too! Rare to see a Fiat on 49's and portals!
Yup, the fiat is bad ass!
Get the big 49-52" arctic truck tires for snow you would be unstoppable. Why go smaller is you need the clearance in the deep powder!
Never upsize to match your buddies size. Always surpass.
Lol
54's
When he said rear steer and 49s my first thought was 53s and rear steer.
Thanks Nate for some of the best content ever! Yes to snow camping, yes to fishing, catch and cook, yes to hunting, and a definite yes to seeing you add rear steer and humongous tires! I'm so glad that you've decided to buck the trend of all these silly competitive "build offs", and razzle dazzle from various promotions and sponsors. I like to see builders and content from down to earth, regular folks, not the companies who supply the bits and pieces.
Couldn't have said it any better
This has to be my favorite channel here on TH-cam. I wish we got this type of snow.
Plenty were I live in NorCal come on up to the mnt!
Dang dude! I'm honored! Thank you 🤘
@@bitkrusher5948 I'm in Ohio that's a long haul
Head north! @@Mikey45013
Yeah, what he said: Reer Steer!😂 Happy New Year
Your heart felt and compassionate reply to shifting gears in your career path was badass! Truly what is important is the little time you have DOING what you love with the PEOPLE you love! Thanks for everything you do in the TDI community, Swap community and Garage DIY fab help. So excited to have more over your content available! Goodluck this year Big Dawg!
Brother, i cane for the diy help while i was building my rig. The wealth of knowledge you gave me in a fourm my simple brain could understand hasnt been achieved elsewhere. I stayed for the inspiration to build bigger badder machines to really grasp the taller side of off-roading. All this to say ive never been disappointed in a video but last year there was something missing. The detailed "how to builds" the testing stages and the over all joy you shared with us. It was super nice to hear you wanted to get back into the swing of the "old ways" but have also mentioned adding time for yourself to relax. Ive hated to see the massive amount of projects youve had this last year and lack of enjoyment. I hope 2025 videos bring that happiness were all used to back to the channel.
Snow wheeling is hands down my favorite! KEEP EM COMING!!!!
My 2yr old daughter and I have been “watching snow trucks” every night for a month at bed time. She loves it!
VERY COOL NATE. Good decision on the life choices and good message. This is always worth remembering.
Snow videos where you're NOT constantly getting stuck are awesome. Let's see more of that amazing winter scenery. I moved from IL to SC, so there's no more snow to look at. Lol.
Be safe. Stay awesome.
You should do "build breakdown" videos of your friend's cool rigs.
.
Especially the really unique ones. I have a feeling those videos will do really well 🙏
Double thumbs up brother!! Not just for the content that is awesome, but also for the decisions you’ve made about the future of your channel. I enjoy seeing your fabrication videos, I am able to pick up a lot of tips from you …. When you’re not rushed.😂 Greetings from North Idaho!!
Thanks dude! I make alot better content when not rushed 😆. I'm making big strides to fix this...
I’ve always loved your Sami all the way back to when Ian originally built it but that Fiat is right up there too. I love unique builds you don’t see every day.
Been following John Martin’s on for yrs on Facebook. He’s a wild man fun to watch his builds and wheeling
Growing up my dad told me about snow wheeling with his jeep buddies in Idaho.... this video is mind boggling on what your trucks can do in the Washington snow. Its defiantly blowing my mind!
Wow a Friday video on my favorite offroad channel! Sweet!
I really enjoy the builds and projects, but I also really like camping, catch & cook, overlanding, and the snow wheeling. You'd be probably one of my favorite all around channels.
Awesome! And yes to more of the adventures with fishing, hunting, diy tips and ideas, do what you want stuff!
Cheers!
Looks like so much fun. Snow wheeling at its best. Snow Hollow.
Western Washington is definitely Snow Hollow 😆. I'm probably going to steal this...
Loved it had a smile across my face the entire time!
WOW. @ 16:51 Im thoroughly impressed. I thought it was going to require winching out. But, no. John easily walked his rig out of that hole. It's a sick build.
I would love to see more of your snowping trips. It's fun to see. Love seeing you builds as well. Please keep up the enjoyable to view work
I live in a failed deveolpment with 300 miles of snow like this ....most years . learning allot from these dudes ...
Sick video man! Can't wait to see the samurai with rear steer. I am looking forward to this content and build videos.
Thank you!
I've never wheeled in deep snow, but it sure does look fun. If I ever do I want to do it in John's rig. That thing is rad.
Loving the renewed focus on more wheeling and making fabrication content in 2025! I'm hoping to do the same. I would love to join you on some more of your adventures this year!
Love the message at the end there. Good for you Nate.
As a member of Gad Zuks in the 90s, I am very happy to see how far you have taken building a Samurai. Our method was always to stay on top of the snow with 33s. This is great to watch!
Nice to see that samurai still getting the attention it deserves. Such fun little rides when taken care of and sat up properly. Great job and fun video. Thanks for sharing
Awesome video! Love the snow wheelin! Thanks for sharing! Keep it up! Can’t wait to see what you do 2025!! You’re an inspiration!! 🙏🏻🙏🏻
Awsome video! Your definitely becoming one of the best pnw snow wheelers on my list. Awesome to see you out with Ghoulie Garage John. Been a fan of him and his builds from the start of his channel. I wish he would get back to making videos.. Keep up the good work and happy wheeling to both of you. Cheers 🍻✌🏾
I’m stoked to see what content you provide all of us this year!! This the type of content that brought most of us here. The how-to vids in the shop and sick wheeling vids!
Nate, your goals for 2025 that focus on You is how it should be. I like the more videos plan. Yes, we have to make the most of the years as they pile up on ya fast. I'm 70 so I know all about that but luckily for me I refuse to grow up. I recently retired and now it's time to play.
Yeah, definitely. Catch & Cook. Blast & Bake, too. Love both hunting & fishing.
Yup totally down for fishing and camping videos
This is my favorite video you have ever done
I'm so envious I miss off roading and playing in the snow my fj60 loved snow wish I still had her!!!!!! I would go as big as I could on the dedicated snow tires and definitely rear stear and would love to see some off-road fishing videos!!!!! One of my favorite things is fishing probably second to going fast and off roading!!!!!!! Love the videos!!!!!!!
Life is short man, definitely enjoy it. And honestly, I really enjoy watching this type of content from you.
Thanks brother 👊 I appreciate it!
Well worth the wait...Great video 🤠👍
Looking forward to seeing what all you have planned for this year....
Happy Wheeling over there 👋🤠
I think everything you said around 19:15 is what I would love to see on your channel. Very very amazing and cool life your living.
Definitely a thumbs up for catch and cook. I have always liked your camping videos. I get if they aren't your most popular views. But you have unique way of doing them. You have found a way to captured all aspects of a trip but keep it entertaining. Go for it! Best of luck catching a meal!
I am living these deep snow adventures bro! Year round 4 wheeling content keeps my heart healthy! You do me a great service! 🙏🏼🤙🏼
Catch and cook is always a fun watch. Would also love more walk around videos.
A small “V” shaped Snow Plow, that bolted onto the front would be cool. (Kinda like a train would use) Something that would clear a path for the Diffs. More videos sounds awesome. We’ll be here for ALL of them. Happy 2025!
I think a skid plate/ski would be better to keep the front end up on top of the snow
Yes, catch and cook would be great!❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
I’ve been waiting two weeks for this video. Awesome finally meeting you in Leavenworth. I’ve wondered the last few times we’ve been there If I would run into you. That was the icing on the cake for our weekend. We got married under the big blue tree the night before, and then went back to the Airbnb and watched a bunch of your snow wheeling vids. If you EVER need a place to stay in ACTUAL eastern Washington, like, Spokane, you’ve got a place at my house.
Congratulations, dude! And thanks for saying hey in levenworth. I hope you guys had a great Christmas and New Year 👊
This is awesome man, and totally good call on living every year better than the last and making every moment count. I love the idea of snow wheeling, camping and doing some catch and cook. Also all the builds have been epic, learned a ton from them so far.
love your rig ! that guy looks like bear grills lol , portals for the win ! cant wait for the yoda to be done and on portals !
Haha. Used to get that alot when bear was super popular.
Love what you do and very excited to see what's to come. Don't go to hard and burn out.❤
Thanks brother 🙏. I appreciate the kind words!
Do what makes you the happiest and if you film it, take us along for the ride that would be great!!!! It is about doing things the way you want to do it. Everything will always work out. Thanks for taking the time and bringing us with you. Make sure to take some time just for you and your family without the cameras. I have learned a couple things from your content and do appreciate it.
Ghoulie! That Fiat is so rad. Been following John on IG for awhile. Glad to see you get a trip with him. I'm all for content of you just getting out and do rad stuff with your friends.
Yesssss, I love John's fiat that thing is insane, you guys definitely gotta do more videos together this made me too stoked hahaha. Should also link up with Addicted Fishing They are close to you and I love watching Jordan's catch and cook videos
Love the snow videos! Awesome that you have the selection of rigs now too for the content. Excited to see what 2025 has in store.
I would definitely watch a camp/catch and cook video. But I watch all of your videos, regardless of subject.
I would like to see the Arctic Trucks Nokian Hakkapeliitta 44″ 475/70R17!!
Keep putting out awesome content and we’ll keep watching and supporting.
Both rigs did extremely well!
MORE SNOW!!!!!!! Love it! I relate to what you're saying though - I'm going to be 40 in 2025 and I need to start doing more stuff I enjoy.
I am sure we are all looking forward to your adventures this year. Your videos are amazing and make lots of people jealous in a good way! haha
Keep it up! 🤘🤘
one of the best snow videos out there awesome thanks for the ride wish i could do that
Keep em coming. Love the snow videos!
Being from northeast PA, we don't get that kind of snow here and we haven't had any good snow storms in years to give us a good snow pack for good snow wheelin' and I miss it!
You put out some of the best wheelin content on youtube! keep it coming!
Great video, and great advice as well. I realize you ask because you really care about what we want to see, but... from my perspective, your channel is mainly about you being you. That's why I keep coming back. If it's interesting to you, it's probably going to be interesting to a whole lot of us, as well. Happy New Year to you and your family. It's gonna be a great one!
DANG!!! this was amazing. Just picturing the size difference between tires and still how deep it was. this was an epic video! Way better than what I can do in my vehicle so thanks for taking us along.
You better keep cranking out these snow videos! And now that fiat or MG needs to be in every one. That thing is sick!! Funny to think sometbing makes that sami small. Sweet video! Happy New Years!
fiats youtube is ghoulie garage
Okay that was So Awesome!! So much fun! and a big yes to all, with more snow trips! Again that was Awesome!
Keep doing what you're doing Nate. Enjoy it all. Here in SW Ohio, we typically don't get that kind of snow and we don't have trails like that unless I go to SE Ohio, and that usually, just turns into mud. 2025 plans are adapting a M122 to my 5.3 and converting to E85.
Looks like fun. Bigger knobbier tires do make sense, but some innovative additions might help. I was thinking an addition to the front bumper like a easily detachable wedge, kind of like a plow. This would then push the snow to the sides, rather than just pushing it. The wedge would also allow airflow to the engine to not get compromised.
I definitely want to see more wheeling content - going back to your roots. When you got started with your channel, you were wheeling that Jeep all the time.
I am loving these videos, but I love your shop videos too.
Awsome video! The duo the internet doesn’t know they need yet!!! Keep it up 👍
Absolutely amazing video seeing the samurai just run through that snow was amazing
Here I was all pleased about my 2" lift and 35s and my 2500 avalanche. These things are insane!! Looks like such a great time! Loving these videos and love the plan for 2025. I'll be here to watch as many as I can!
Yes to camping with a basic(attainable) setup for the rest of us! Yes to catch & cook!
YES to a set of Icelandic Snow tires for "The Zuke"(as Ian always called this rig). 43" will work great in the rig. Go bigger if you think you should.
Looking forward to seeing more content brother.
I'll watch whatever you post! Catch and cook sounds cool!
Absolutely yes on the catch and cook! Thanks for sharing with us!
I run 41" Iroks radials on my 85 4runner. Definitely does what I need. Always heard from the old timer snow crawlers around here that iroks are the best snow crawling tire. Radials also seem to hold up a little better. Could be some newer and better tire out there for the job but I am already invested. Just buy 2 new tires every few years.
Amazing rigs ! I really really really love this samurai !
Thank you!!
I wish we had snow like that in East Tennessee. I guess I just got to watch you and dream lol.
Same here in NC. Perhaps a dusting.
What an awesome day this must have been. I mean, DEEP SNOW, BIG TIRES& BIGGER TIRES, REAR STEER , and John! Heck of a guy, met him up at Moon rocks, years ago. Happy New Nate, can’t wait to see a portal rear steer build😉👍🏻
Bigger tires and a catch and cook sounds like a good time to me! Great content brother
I started watching your channel with the Yeti build, loved it and really like the direction you took with it. I've been wheeling on and off since the late 80's, the Rubicon Trail was considered hard core back when I started. I was into mud running mostly and then evolved into rock crawling. I never did much snow wheeling( i was always snowmobiling) I'm really enjoying the snow content. I would love to see more of it along with the episodes where you do your vehicle build outs. One of my favorite utube channels and easily the best when it comes to off roading. Thanks.
You have the best snow wheeling videos! We need to get up there and do some snow wheeling with you!
I appreciate it, brother 👊
2020 was supposed to be an amazing year for me, i had so much planned and you know how that went... its just been downhill ever since it seems 😔 but im finally seeing light at the end of the tunnel and im gonna do everything i can to make 2025 the best year yet! 🤟 thanks for doing what you do Nate 🙏
I hear you, I was just saying the same thing the other day. Every year since then has had some kind of bad news or setback in it, looking forward to making 2025 positive.
Probably my favorite video yet! Great start to 2025!
Dude... this is the best video I have seen in a long time. Unbelievable what the sami can do!
Just yesterday I went out wheeling and we got 5 feet over here in the heppner unit. Swallowed up my 42’s on my k5. I love it
I started 2025 in moab with my daughters, neice, sister in law, and brother. 4 days of awesome wheeling and great memories!
I love Jon's fishing waders in the snow.
Yeah.. that rear steer looks pretty sick. Thanks for the video
Another awesome video! Your are 100% right about the video not doing the vehicles justice without comparison. It would be amazing to see the comparison next to any "more common" off road rig, even on dry pavement.
At some point when you air down enough you’re just kind of left with flails….
Love this!
Nate! I have never done snow wheeling like that at least, but it looks amazing. Really enjoying that content.
I live in the mountains of Utah with the greatest snow on earth. If you ever want to come on out I know the mountains really well and could find you deeper snow than you’ve ever been in before.
Happy New Year, Nate! Honestly man, keep filming what makes you happy and our smiles will follow. I don't think there was a single minute of this video where I didn't have a smile on my face!
Keep up the good work with the awesome content!
Cooking lunch on the exhaust and turbo is pretty awesome! Hahahaha 😂
Watched many Snow running vids. The Sherp tires are some of the best. Anyhow, thank you for sharing your vid.
Sounds like the Tacoma is getting portals, rear steer and 49s 😂
Lol probably not... operative word... "probably" 😆
Catch & cook would be a cool mini-series, that way the videos don't get too long but the trip can have lots of content shared.
