There has been a business opportunity I've been trying to press my way into for a couple years that finally came to fruition. I've taken on a position for a company that consumes over half my week alongside 3 videos a week on this channel. You're going to get to see all my work here soon for this company but I don't want to say too much in the meantime. The only reason I bring it up is that if you're ever curious as to why I may not be present in some processes like today as much as I could be... it's not because I don't want to be. I just don't have the time right now. All of you and I owe it to Randall for putting in this work so we can keep making massive progress and have content to upload so often. Show Randall some love on instagram for me @randalllpullen (3 L's) also TikTok @Randallpullen for some fire videos (2 L's on the tok)
It’s impressive to see Randell become a lot more comfortable in front of the camera as this series progresses. You threw him in the deep end at the start and he’s come out the other a full blown charismatic TH-camr
He said it’s not the most entertaining thing but I get entertainment watching things like this, step by step on how to make it work, I plan to do this to my 98 2.5rs with jdm wrx heads/ECU/wiring with an ej22t closed deck short block
at first, I was mad when I saw the doner the car bc that thing was mint but now I am not mad about this build you have in mind of a dope build and keep it up
Man I just started watching the channel and I got to say I love it when you say this is gonna be a lengthy video and not entertaining that’s when I know it’s gonna be a good ass video lol I’m sure I speak for a few others when I say that’s what we want to see 👍 keep up the good content
Love the tutorial... Not a fan of the gaps at the pillars. How are going to resolve this? Otherwise FANTASTIC... Randall needs big thumbs up for his work...
@Swiss Tuned is such an awesome guy. He does awesome builds. The only problem is he doesn't upload regularly. Nevertheless thanks for gicing him credit @Randall. Maybe if he gets more views he'll get more active.
gc and sf5 with gd dash everything swap is the best ever mod for classic... kind of restomod style... *im driving gd wrx swapped sf5 everything as well..
Love the build so far man. Are you planning to put a roll cage in? @9:45 when you hammer in the dash crash bar, it’s lost its structural integrity for a side impact now and will bend like a taco :/. But I completely understand why ya did it to fit.
Hello my brother thnx a really good video all of them but i have one question ? In 10:20 min can you tell us the name of the song please thnx a million
@@CameronAlford he's probably one of these imbeciles that thinks using a donor car to restore not that exact year and model car is sac religious. Which is just absurd especially when you're so transparent that building and modifying cars is what this channel is all about, keep up the good work dude! I got my 2005 blob eye sti in Platinum Silver built by good speed performance based off your videos and mentioned you to them!
@@TheHDInstinct Without getting overly defensive of a project like this there are fewer and fewer of these cars on the road. As an owner of a 99 WRX I know the struggles of keeping the older stuff running, just takes a bit of effort finding crashed cars instead of running and driving ones BUT fully understand why he is doing this.
I think what I originally wrote explains itself. I’ve already done everything you’re doing to this car to my first coupe. Dash swaps suck. Dash swapping is just a lazy way to swap a first gen. And no “Cole T” you don’t know anything about me. I’ve already done this swap before. I also used an 05 STi donor car. But my car still has the proper dashboard. And functional AC with an original uncut firewall. I get that you’re a fan and wanna white knight for Cameron. But you sound ridiculous jumping to that conclusion without any basis.
I’d rather see the car just left original in most areas and restored to as new condition Obv yeah the engine and driveline got nuts on, but it’s a 97 car, I just don’t get the appeal of putting parts or a dash from another car that doesn’t belong in it

Spending to much time to this conversion I would prefer put time in other mods. But overall a good turtorial.
Great write up I definitely feel more confident doing this swap
Not a Subaru guy but absolutely loving these videos man
Randall makes it look easy! 😅 probably is easy tho if you know what you’re doing and if you’ve been doing it for quite some time.
I’m finally doing my swap from a 04 wrx wagon
Keep up the videos man i love em!

The 2.5 RS was produced Through 2005. In the 2006 model year the name was changed to the 2.5i
Great work and details guys. Aloha from Hawaii

Damn this in Phoenix how do I not know about the gc8 widebody I have one in my backyard Yard!
Watch me be missing my dashboard tomorrow mornin
Hey man, did you set up the airbag system? Are you planning on running the entire wire harness from the 05?
You did a video 2 years ago on led headlights in a 2015 GMC Sierra 1500, just wondering how those bulbs held up?
One day i hope to build something 😭
For what it is it should be good but what will make it is your the power you make and the paint and wheels what colour you going for enyway ?
Absolute Mad Lads
Keeping doing you. Huge inspiration. One day I hope to be able to do the same!
just cut the filler peace with the air saw and then install vinyl edging to finish it off along the cut

Bummed to see another dash swap. Another cut firewall. Hopefully the rest of the build makes up for it.
