Making great progress! Oh the memories from when i sanded my Subies paint before Vinyl Wrapping. It sure was a a lot of work but well worth it in the end! Excited to see more videos in the future. 😎👍
Your awesome!! Thanks for showing us what "boo boo's" not to do, so we don't have to,! Lol No , you really did an awesome job at throwing this video together . Plus....majority is your style and attitude ! Thanks~
The wiper blades on my bugeye looked that faded. Sand a tiny bit and use a matte black or semigloss spray paint. Paint is holding up 2-3 months later. Definitely worth it
I started doing body work in 1974. I was not allowed to use a power sander until I learned to hand sand and feather out old paint and repairs by hand. 49 years later I mostly wet sand by hand unless doing filler work. It is quieter and creates less dust in the shop. Existing paint that isn't damaged only needs to be sanded for paint to adhere. Machine sanding goes through layers of paint creating need for more priming more sanding and more materials. Don't believe everything you see on You Tube. Only damaged paint needs to be removed. Hand sand and enjoy the tunes while doing so
I've worked in a body shop for 26 yrs and its disturbing how some ppl do these lol. I started out watchin dirt bike reviews for my kid n ended up here somehow lol. No it is not good to get to bare metal. It happens but it is not a good thing. Ur paints clean. Wet sand wet sand wet sand. 400 grit n water lots of water. Ur makin a mess

One key thing I learned sanding is keep the pad as flat as possible to the surface your sanding.

when you wrap a car do you have to paint it or can it just be primer underneath?

I think you can benefit from interface foam pad. It won’t eat up edges that much. Other then that good work. I’m learning paint on my channel myself!
