I just bought a tiger eye used with 1.7k miles. Owner swapped ebony for the white stripe on another goldie. My goodness what a car. I walk onto the lot and the car I speced out the night before is sitting there, except for the black badges and splashguards I'm getting. Never seen midrange torque like this in a Japanese-heritage car. I do have a little trouble getting into sixth. I'm not used to a gearbox this tight. Magnificent car!
Nice! Congrats! Yeah, the delivery up through the tach is excellent on this and the SI/Integra. Such a great car. Definitely one of the tightest gearboxes around ha, but you'll get used to it. Enjoy!
@@GearboxCarReviews I just had tech training at the dealership an hour ago, sales guy had been through the Acura school. What a car. I freaked when the first CTR came out. But I'm too old to go around in a car like that, I said. But *this* car, Shut Up And Take My Money!
I'm driving the new CTR this week, and it's so great to be back in this platform again. It's more subtle than the last CTR, but definitely still more in your face than the Type S. I think I'd take the Type S too, all else being equal, for the looks and for the suspension.
I ordered one, but it hasn't arrived yet. I'm not a big fan of the white interior because it's hard to keep clean. The ebony interior might not be clean, but you just wouldn't notice it, so out of sight out of mind. I did order the Apex Blue on Ebony but I don't think they are making those right now. I guess I'll see what happens.
Yeah, I've heard the Tigers Eye and Apex Blue ones have the longest wait. Hopefully they don't make you wait too long. I definitely wouldn't get the white either, but it looks nice when it's clean for sure. Congrats on the car! Hopefully it comes soon🤞
Thanks! And congrats! I still haven't seen the red one in person, but it looks slick in pictures. Big fan of the MDX Type S too. The thing handles much better than anything that size should be able to. Congrats on the car!
Absolutely a huge factor. Definitely not the only factor, but one that's under-talked about. Which always makes me wonder why some automakers skimp on the factory tires.
Eh, I think it's priced well against the competition. The Mazda3 is a different type of car. Don't get me wrong, I love the Mazda3 turbo. Straight-line speed and comfort and if you want all-wheel-drive, it's a great commuter that you can really stomp on if you want. But the Integra offers much more space and better driving dynamics, the power delivery is better for spirited drives, the manual transmission, the sound. It's a different type of experience.

Just got mine 2 weeks ago.. I absolutely love it!❤
Congrats! Love these things!

Nice video. I picked up a performance red pearl ITS a few weeks ago. Love it. It goes nicely with our MDX Type S

@@GearboxCarReviews I think it’s a underrated color, but I’m biased. I added the bronze wheels and the carbon fiber spoiler and it just looks 🔥!!!
please post some pics thats the color combo i like most@@suzysparks
Good review, looks like you definitely enjoyed this one.
Thanks! I did for sure
I need this car in my life 😢
You and me both!
Great video, can't wait to get mine next year
Thanks! And congrats! Hell of a car for sure. What spec are you going for?
Great Intro.🎉
Sounds amazing man!
Yeah, man! They killed it
I can't help but think these performance cars that reviewers say handle so well isn't solely because of the performance tires.

Nope over priced. Mazda 3 turbo much better option just as fast and more luxury. At half the price
