New neighbors are always a stress inducer. Those wacky shaped box end wrenches are for adjusting the dwell by spinning the distributor on older vehicles. They work like a charm! 😃👍
Thanks Mr. John! You aren't looking to down size and move to NJ by any chance are you? Hopefully it'll help some other folks out. We have been blessed so we just want to keep it going.
Ha! I still use my dad's old Toro snowblower from the 70's! rolling tool carts are quite handy. saws = keepers 👍 some kid just starting out on his own could literally fill his garage with that haul!
Hey Matt , I would use the snow blower but I got 3 kids and 3 shovels..Plus my drive is gravel. I'm gonna try to make sure it goes to someone who really needs it. I was told " Hey there's a couple things in the shed Mom wants you to get" I had no idea it was all of this!
@Uwannawatch kids and shovels... life is good! i think its wonderful that you're going to use the proceeds from the items you were gifted to 'pay it forward' to others.
Not bad for free you might have a set of thorsen wrenches right there and alot of exilite which sells good I really liked the SK tuff 1/4 drive ratchet I hope your new neighbor is a decent one brother I know how you feel when it comes to that unfortunately I've been there take care brother
Hey Don, There are quite a few nice pieces in this lot. They will all go to good homes and hopefully we'll be able to help some other folks out. Her daughters were laughing because I was all giddy about that SK! We are hoping for a decent neighbor. But we'll see. Take care Brother!
I'm totally with you as regards neighbours George, I've had some absolute horrors in my 27 years where I am living. Some people just don't seem to know how to live in close proximity to other people. Good luck with your new neighbours when you eventually get some. As to your haul - WOW, how lucky are you. You should be able to realise a good few dollars for all that, and how kind of you to donate it to the local Church. Thanks George for all your videos - great fun to watch. Take care. Michael in England.
Thanks Michael, We heard they have already had a few offers on the house but that's all we know. We thought it would be a good thing to do. Didn't feel right to keep any money from this. Glad you enjoy the videos and thank you for the encouragement.
Ya Brother Gonna miss her and her family. Really good folks and just fun to be around. There's enough bad in the world these days so we figured we would do something good. Plus it just didn't seem right to keep any money from this haul.
It's tough to lose a good neighbor. Very kind of them to leave all that in your care, I'm sure you were a great neighbor to them and they were happy for you to have it. The stuff you don't want should sell nice on FB and raise some money for the church. Thanks for sharing this haul!
Let me tell you Fred G! She was a perfect neighbor. Always just made you smile to see her. My kids adored her too. I think we'll be able to give a good donation and help make a few families have a better Christmas.
Hey George , nice haul glad to see the money going to the Church . I am in agreement with you good neighbors make life much better. I am very fortunate to have folks who help me out all the time. You did get a few treasures in the heap. Thanks for the video.
Good to hear you are blessed with some good folks to give you a hand. My boys would always try to help her with her lawn but she would always say "I got it I need to work so I don't get old" She would "race" my wife and son to see who could rake and bag the leaves fastest..LOL! We thought it was a fitting thing to do. Just didn't seem right to keep the money for us when she was so generous. Take care Buddy and I'll catch up with ya later.
Hey Kurt, You know that's what it;s all about! I don't need a lot of this but I'm sure someone does and there's no need to try and make a lot off of it. It was generously given to me so it will be paid forward. Take it easy Buddy. I'll catch up with ya soon.
Sorry about your neighbor's passing. Understand about your concern and hoping for a good new one. The pressed metal tool with the hook is for removing the excess water from a roller paint brush after washing. The small Hakko side cutters are top quality. They make high end soldering stations and supporting tools. That one is $10 to 15 new. Disappointed in the out gassing on the Xcelite handles, they are quality tools, and I keep the ones I find.
Thanks Bryan, She just moved away. But she was a great neighbor and friend to us for a long time. Thanks for the great info as always I appreciate it Brother.
Yes it would. It's going with all the contents in it. A great start for sure. If my boys didn't already have boxes I would have given it to one of them.
Sorry for the loss of a great neighbor, nice to see there were a few goodies in the pile for memories. Nice touch with the donation. Take care brother.
Thanks Brother Don, It was a very generous gift and it just seems like it's the right thing to do. Take care and I'll catch up with ya soon. Hope all is well up there and tell the wife hello from all of us.
Lots of goodies there George. You are definitely not being selfish, on the contrary you are being very kind. Hope your new neighbor works out, it's always a roll of the dice when new ones move in.
@@Uwannawatch Hey George I see you have both pieces they snap together with an odd adapter looks like a socket used only for those its a 3/8" female on both sides, those wrenches are 3/8" male. When put together one becomes the handle for the other. The adapter also allows you to use a 3/8" ratchet for more leverage. The wrench ends are 1/2" on one end 9/16" on the other. Mine is also a K D tool. You may have the adapter in all that stuff. Looks, like a socket. You always score such great stuff at such low prices I'm in LA area seems like every seller wants to charge like they"re new.
@@davidparker3346 Thanks! I appreciate it! I've heard that a lot about the prices out there. I'm lucky things like tools seem to be a lot cheaper here in the Northeast and we have a lot of flea markets that still sell old tools.
Awesome choice to help others with the proceeds! We lost our neighbor to old age a couple months ago and have discovered she had some extra tenants (small, gray, squeaky) that lost their meal ticket. We also have a rat terrier that keeps them on their toes and outside the house. Hope you get awesome new neighbors and have a great week!!
My wife and I are the same way about neighbors. I we live out in the country. When the lot across from us in the end of the road we live on came up for sale. She suggested we buy it. Fortunately we had the means to him. It's nice not having neighbors across the street in a cul-de-sac. We like looking out and seeing in the woods.
That sounds nice! when we bought our house it was the first time we had neighbors on all four sides. That took a lot to get used to. The house across from us has changed hands 4 times We live near a military base} but we have been lucky they have all been really good neighbors.
Thanks Brother! You can't have a shed haul without hardware. I'll let some of it go to hopefully help someone else start a collection. But yes hardware is always welcome.
Great video. Cool stuff. You are a saint for giving to the church. 😇 What did you use to replace the cap on the SK bit driver? I have one that also needs a cap. Fingers crossed that you get good new neighbors.
